• Sheila (4/5): A dissapointment - The room was mostly clean but there were a couple of things that were unacceptable 1. 2 of the lamps in the room did not work. The one between the beds could only be operated by plugging or unplugging it. 2. There were none of the standard amenities such as complimentary coffee or tea. 3. There was a dead rat in the parking lot as we were leaving in the morning.

• Anthony (4/5): - There was no one in the office when we arrived. Had to call number taped to door. Employee cam came over and struggled with the card machine. I needed to help him with buttons to push. He was very friendly and helpful. Gave us key to room and when I opened door, room smelled strongly of smoke and only had 1 bed. I had booked a 2 bed room as I was traveling with my daughter. Employee was able to move us to another room with two beds. This one smelt better but could still smell smoke. Bathroom had good water pressure but there were numerous hairs on the shower wall and soap scum. Way over-priced for a motel that was smelly and marginally clean. Would not stay again or recommend.
• Keeley (4/5): - The room smelled of smoke- even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. It was bad enough that I had a hard time sleeping. The bedspreads need to be discarded and replaced. If it had a good cleaning, it would have been a decent stay.

• Roger (2/5): - Regretably, a dump. DIY bathroom marble surround - they went cheap and did not complete the work, there were unfinished edges throughout, with underlayment visible through the poorly-applied sealant. Some faux-marble panels still had pencil marks on them from the (still incomplete) install. FILTH on the floor where the mop in use pushed the filth underneath the baseboard heaters, and the tops of all the baseboard heaters had several years accumulation of FILTH. Garage sale furnishing throughout, scarred dinged and in poor condition. Walls likewise had ample evidence of many, many luggage collisions over the years.
• John (2/5): A total pit, avoid if at all possible - We stayed at this "motel" on a weekend anniversary trip because it was the only thing available (only booked a week before arrival). I wasn't expecting anything great, but I was at least expecting a clean, fully functional room. This place is in my top-3 list of "worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in". Where to begin? The good: it's a place to stay that isn't sleeping in your car. The bad: pretty much everything else. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The sheets were musty and threadbare. The walls were covered in, what I think was, mold, smoke and tar. The bathroom was disgusting, mildew and mold everywhere, a toilet that had a broken flapper and required constant "fixing", the vent cany was broken, only a half roll of toilet paper provided, the towels smelled and there was somebody else's hair all over them. Basically the room was in bed of a complete renovation and whoever "cleaned" it prior to our arrival should be fired.

• gregory (2/5): Gross - Room six had a potent oder of apple cinnamon disinfectant and mold. It stung the nostrils. Just filthy with lots of creeps lurking around.
• Scott (2/5): - The sheets appeared clean, everything else about the room was pretty rundown, but also dirty (like plenty of loose dirt and dust in the corders of the bathroom). We left our socks on overnight, in the event we would need to go to the bathroom. Other rooms appear to be occupied by residents.

• Barbara (4/5): - I realize the place is old, but improvements can definitely be made. There were cobwebs galore and the room looked like it hadn’t been painted in years. There was mold/mildew in the shower as well as on the walls and floor. The carpeting was badly stained and had frayed areas as well as what appeared to be cigarette burns. (It’s supposed to be a smoke free facility.)

• Douglas (2/5): - I'm not sure if I can leave a fair review because my family and I did not stay there overnight. It was dirty and we felt unsafe. We checked in here as it was the only place in Catskill with availability. We placed our things in the room and left to meet up with friends in the area. Upon returning after 8 that night we felt very unsafe. We thought we could handle it but reversed on our decision to stay there. We packed up the car, dropped the key off in the box and left. I just ate the $107. No one was in the office for me to speak to and I just wanted to get the hell out of there.

• Laura (10/5): - Friendly easy checkin. Room clean and warm. It was 3 below so coming in to heat was a wonderful thing. Only downside- have to walk across parking lot to gas station for coffee. Wish it could be made in the room.

• Sylvia (2/5): skip this motel - The hotel smelled so strongly of deodorizer it was sickening. Opening all windows was not help. The hardest bed I have ever encountered. Tiles were falling off the wall in the bathroom and stacked in a corner. DO NOT RECOMMEND. really bad
• emily (10/5): - Not the newest or fanciest of hotels, but clean and neat. Check in was easy. It sits back from the road, so it was quiet. There is a gas station with a convenience store right next to the property, and a pizza shop across the street. We especially enjoyed being able to drive right up and park by the door!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Will work in a pinch. - This motel seems to be stuck in 1982. The wi-fi was down, parking lot full of potholes, and a very slow check-in process in a check in room that was poorly maintained and had a very strong odor of old food and air freshener. The room we stayed in had cobwebs with spiders living in it all across the door to the room. Two very strong air fresheners were in the room (we put them outside) and the heat was turned up past 75. We had to sleep with all the windows open due to the smell and the heat, and the temperature got down to 36 degrees the first night! We were still not cold. By the time we checked out after our 2 night stay, we could smell the mildew that the air fresheners were covering up. The bathroom was clean, but had some broken tile, and the main room had many stained ceiling tiles. The door was hard to close and make sure it was locked. I will not be staying at this site again.
• DOMINICK (8/5): - It was affordable and comfortable. We had a small issue and the owners bent over backwards to make it right.
• Sheila (10/5): - The hotel owner was very nice - he waited up for me until I arrived at 10pm! I basically ruined his Friday night, but he was so kind about it! :)
• Holly (6/5): Please Clean the Bathroom - Small, outdated motel but it fit our needs. Beds were clean. Room showed its age. Bathroom appeared to be renovated but not clean; there was a large urine stain at the base of the toilet.

I showed the owner my reservation and he was basically saying if you dot like it leave. Will never book this hotel again and will use alternate websites for bookings. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with Expedia but it most certain is the last.
• Richard (8/5): - Motel was clean but in desperate need of upgrades and a deep cleaning. It was quiet and easy to find, but the GPS turns you on street before hotel for some reason. It is dated, to say the least
• Jeffrey (4/5): - My check in started with a full UNflushed toilet greeting me in the bathroom. The door had a fist sized hole in it. The curtains were damaged enough to be difficult to close fully. The price was advertised at $109 per night for a 2 night stay, but my bill totaled $351. Need I say more?

Spoke to men at front desk about condition of room that I could it’s it stay with my daughters. . He began to yell something about being charged. Worst front desk men ever . This was after they made copies of both my License and credit card.

• Ryan (2/5): - Don’t ever stay here. Owner makes you pay before seeing the room, knowing that the rooms have unwashed sheets, stains on the floors and walls, no WiFi, exposed wires. Was there for 10 minutes and went to get money back and owner shouted at us and wouldn’t give our money back. Huge scam artist and a terrible person. Surprised Expedia does business with this establishment. And of course Expedia couldn’t do anything for us in getting reimbursed for the $160 that we spent for 10 minutes…
• Petra (2/5): - Not maintained in good order. Dirty carpet, mold in shower, sink faucet handle came off. Internet is unreliable. No coffee or ice found. Door lock hard to open, seems insecure (no second lock).
• Verified traveler (6/5): Too expensive for a night - Just spent few hours to rest and keep on my way to my final destination anyway this hotel advertised outside pool with mountain view which is not true at all !!There is no pool available!!.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Mold. Bugs. Dirty. - The owner called us on the road to rush us to check-in so that he could leave and, "go to Home Depot." Our rooms had front doors that didnt seal at the bottom and allowed bugs inside. The rooms smelled of smoke/weed and needed a thorough cleaning. Mold and cockroaches in the bathroom(s).

Guy in office qas very kind, however place qas dirty, looks like ppl live there year round. Someone was taking how they had dss drop off a parolie over night and qhat he was supposed to do with them..... hotels.com should take this place off there lists.

• Verified traveler (6/5): One night serviceable stay - A perfectly serviceable motel. Not exceptional. Not the worst. The door frames were dirty and there were water stains on the ceilings and dust in the bathroom fan. But the beds and carpets were clean. And bed was pretty comfortable too.

• Bruce (4/5): Grungy motel - The manager/owner was very welcoming and friendly. He is the only reason fpr not giving a Terrible rating. The motel exterior is dirty, the bedding had cigarette burns, the bath had mildew, and there is something orange growing on the bathroom ceiling. This is not the type of room that should cost the $115 that i paid. I would not stay here again.

• Michael (4/5): Do not recommend - Pretty sketchy dreary place.. even by roadway motel standards. The room was very unclean (as if the management gave up on the place sometime in the early 80’s). Despite paying a bit extra because I had my two children traveling with me the room was completely inadequate (unclean, stank of marijuana and mold, mattresses were worn beyond belief, and the bedsheets were torn and stained… I have a fairly high tolerance when it comes to motels but this was incredibly disappointing
• Thomas (6/5): - The dirtiest most rundown room I have ever paid to sleep in! Stunk, pathetic bed with worn out slab of a mattress. Complete with a bathtub centipede that I brushed away so he could go find a better place or toilet to live in. Stay clear not here.
• conrad (6/5): Not that bad - Came upstate to stay for the weekend and found this motel. I guess its ok if you're looking for somewhere to rest...but that's about it. No amenities, bedsheets were sketchy, but...awesome pizzeria across the street.

• Ismael (10/5): - Two big and comfortable beds, tv, a little desk area/vanity area, been here twice already and enjoyed both stays. staff is friendly, the gas station next to the motel has low prices and a convenience store! Will definitely be returning here on my next visit to Catskill!

• Eric (10/5): - Excellent base camp for exploring the Catskills and Berkshires on a long autumn weekend during the pandemic. Clean and quiet rooms, comfy beds, fridge & microwave, and a Valero next door for coffee and snacks. Friendly staff & easy check-in. Right turn to a pretty Main Street, straight ahead to cross the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, and make sure you go up to Olana for a spectacular Catskills/Hudson River view!
• Melissa (8/5): Clean but outdated - The motel was clean, we had no complaints beside it being outdated. The location was great, a quick ride over to Hudson. There is a gas station right next door, so it was convienent to stop for gas before heading out and grabbing a snack.
• Michael (6/5): Comfortable bed, bring an extra pillow. - Comfortable bed, uncomfortable pillows. Bring an extra pillow! King size beds only have small, very firm pillows. No coffee maker, there are microwaves and refridgerators. Quiet, we used the room for sleeping only.

• Janjan (2/5): - Upon arrival the front desk told me my room was given out to someone else the night before, to someone who booked for the week. It makes more sense for them to give out the room to someone who will stay for a longer period. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. On Labor Day weekend where everything was sold out in the Catskill area, I was forced to find a more expensive hotel that was 45 min away. The front desk/owner was very rude. He refused to do anything to compensate us. He didn’t wear a mask when speaking to us. Please read the reviews by others. I chose this place Bc it was cheap. There’s a reason why it’s cheap.

• Sandy (8/5): - It's perfect for a place to sleep and shower. There are no offerings of anything else but 5 minutes away is so much to see and do. It's an older property but everything worked fine and was comfortable. There is a convenient store/gas station on the edge of the property. 5 minutes from downtown Catskill and many restaurants and things to do. 3rd stay here and will come back. For the money, it's fine.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Only option when other hotels were sold out - If you have no other option, it can be tolerable as long as you prepare yourself mentally beforehand. The motel is in desperate need of a renovation and deep cleaning. The room was huge and it had a refrigerator and microwave. The owner/front desk person was nice.
• NICKIE (4/5): - The hotel is near the highway so very convenient. Check in was ok. The moment we opened the door we got hit with a funky smell. We figured we can keep the door open and let it just air out. Wishful thinking. When i went to the office to ask for extra pillows and another blanket, Raj asked why i needed another blanket. Then quickly said that he will bring it over later. We had such a good time at the falls we considered staying another night. When i went to ask Raj, he asked if we had a cat in the room....What!!!!. I asked why the would think that and he said because we have a box in the room and the room smelled. He then asked why we had a box in the room. Raj needs to work on his customer service skills.
• Jen (2/5): - I booked this for a friend that was coming back into town for a couple of days. The man at the front desk was very rude to me over the phone and he was also very rude to my friends that were staying. They also claimed that the internet was down. I would never stay here again.
• Steven (10/5): - It was an older hotel with a little ware and tear but beds were comfortable and room was clean.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Smoking rooms only - Reserved two non-smoking rooms and when I got there with my family was told only smoking rooms available because he “sold the non-smoking room before you’ve booked online.” Due to this inconvenience, we decided to drive back home which was about 2 hours and it was already close to midnight. I asked to please at least allow me to use the restroom for I was going to drive for two hours and he gave me a straight no and suggested the gas station.
• Stephen (2/5): - The manager charged the wrong card- twice. I received a knock on my door an hour before check out asking if we were still in the room. The towel rack fell off in the bathroom. The shower was either piping hot or frigid cold. The management was unreasonable and incompetent.
