- Wimbush (10/5): The Perfect Solo Getaway - I absolutely loved my stay in the Joy cabin at City on the Hill at Spring Creek. It was the perfect space for a solo getaway, peaceful, cozy, and exactly what I needed. The cabin was beautiful, spotless, and so well maintained. From the comfortable bed to the relaxing atmosphere, everything about it made me feel at home. One of my favorite parts was the covered hot tub on the patio. Having private access to it made the experience even more relaxing and peaceful. The view overlooking the creek was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the calm atmosphere. There was even a swing down the hill behind my cabin, which made the property feel even more special and relaxing. Gregory was an amazing host. Anytime I had a question or needed something, he responded quickly and made sure I was taken care of. You can really tell they care about their guests and the overall experience. The property itself was absolutely beautiful, quiet, and well maintained, but I also loved that I was only about 15 minutes away from most places downtown, so it was easy to explore and still come back to a peaceful retreat. I honestly can’t put into words how much I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. That I couldn't stay longer🤣

- sindy (10/5): Perfect Peaceful Getaway in the Mary Cabin - My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Mary cabin in Fredericksburg. The hot tub and the view were truly amazing — the perfect way for both of us to relax and unwind. The tub was hot, clean, and always ready for us to jump in, which made the experience even better. We also loved how perfect the Wi-Fi and TV service were. The smart TV made it easy to log in to our streaming accounts and enjoy our favorite movies and shows, and my husband was especially happy that he could watch his favorite college football game without any issues. The peaceful walking paths along the creek and the super friendly ponies made the stay feel magical. The cabin itself was spotless, very well maintained, and incredibly quiet — exactly what we were looking for. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a touch of nature. We can’t wait to come back! Everything was perfect — we truly have no complaints.

- Michael (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous - The cabin was so incredible! Walking through the door, you wouldn't expect the inside to be wide open with high ceilings and the feeling of home! Me and my wife absolutely loved every moment spent here. From the scenery to the wild life and peacefulness surrounding you. It brought us closer together for our 13 year anniversary and it was an incredible experience. Would HIGHLY recommend everyone to experience what we did. You won't regret it for sure. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the owners nor the property and cabin. It was truly an incredible experience.

We saw some ponies along with other livestock. The jacuzzi was really nice in the evenings. All around we had a great stay in the middle of the countryside!

Each time has been absolutely relaxing. Always very clean and everything you need to be comfortable. We enjoyed the back porch watching and listening to the the wildlife, including an armadillo that ventured right by our back porch and of course the hot tub. We plan to return again and if I could give a higher rating than 10 I would. Thank you Jean for providing a wonderful experience! Nothing

- Timothy (10/5): A nice retreat between our hiking in the morning and wineries in the evening. - We loved the grounds, it was wide open. The animals roaming around was fun. At night there were so many stars, that was a treat. The cabin was cute and clean. At first we thought it was too far from town, but that was after traveling an hour and a half. But once we were there the travel back and forth was easy and beautiful.

It allowed us to unwind and enjoy the the area when we decided to go venture out. Nothing to complain about- it was just what we wanted in a quick Hill country getaway.

Fredericksburg was just a short drive for dinner. Entry was easy and the cabin was super cozy. Temperature was too warm outside for using the jacuzzi. It was hot and ready just not inviting for a May evening.

We especially loved the jacuzzi, the well-equipped kitchenette, and the peaceful view of the creek and sky from the back patio. It was everything we needed to relax and recharge. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, quiet setting!

It was out in the country but still a close drive back to town for restaurants or shopping. we enjoyed walking the creek bank and listening to the sounds of nature. If I had to complain about one thing, I suppose it would be that the porch was facing west. Which meant we had to wait until late in the evening to get into the hot tub, but it wont be deal breaker for me.

My husband spent most of his time catching up on his sleep on the comfortable bed and the cool AC , while I soak my achey body in the hot tub outside with the most serene view , nature at its best! In the evening we would sit on the back porch and listen to music, and converse. And see the cute ponies inside their pen. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone seeking recharging. Jean the owner was super helpful and friendly by sending us a text with address and code to our "LOVE" number 4 cabin which we got exactly the cabin we wanted! He also mentioned in the text, that if any problem emerged or need assistance with the cabin to feel free to call. But the cabin had everything we needed and beyond. This was good to know he cared for his guests. We definitely would book again!!! Not able to stay longer 😔

We enjoyed walking the property and surrounding areas. We loved sitting on the porch and listening to all the sounds of nature. The shower, the bathroom, the bed, the kitchen were all just what we needed. It’s a beautiful property and a lovely cabin. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We were just far enough away from all the activity and festivities that made it a retreat for us. And close enough to enjoy the wineries and dining in town.

- Castillo (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything! So homey and feels peaceful. We could walk around the property when we were there and fed ponies, fished, and explored. The owner is so nice and there was a cat that came and saw us every morning and evening haha. Fishing was splendid! We fished twice a day and the cattle that roam the property came and watched us fish. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. We loved the hot tub, too! Definitely will be back any time we’re in the area.

Superb jacuzzi, view and location in the rolling hills of the surroundings of Fredericksburg. Staff was quick to respond to my questions and we felt we found ourselves in a piece of paradise. 11/10 would visit again.
- Diana (9/5): Very Relaxing! - Cabin was just as described and very comfortable. We loved the hot tub on the porch and used it every day. The ponies came by almost every day to see us. The host responded immediately to any questions we had. The only con was the water pressure in the shower. When turned to all hot the pressure was fine but when we tried to use a moderate temp there was very little pressure. Maybe just turn down the temp?

Beautiful evening sunsets with stargazing from your own patio & hottub. Customer service was very comforting and easy. They have a small creek to fish in. Ponies running freely in the field across from us. A fire pit and swings to enjoy evening sunset. Truly enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend. We will be back.
