- Lynette (8/5): - Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only dislike was no coffee in the room and Saturday morning there was no coffee in the office. If we are ever out this way, we would stay again.
- Jenny (10/5): - I love that it is a small independent business. The art deco tile in the bathroom, and they have a pool!
- Kristi (10/5): - My husband and i stay here everytime we are in Pratt. The property is well maintained and we really like the 50s look of the bathroom.
- Marcia (10/5): - not a big box hotel
- Rodney Or Catherine (8/5): - Staff is very friend. It is an older hotel but the rooms have been updated since our last stay many years ago. All in all for the older hotel it was ok for the price.
- Janet (10/5): - The room was roomy and very clean.
- Pamela (10/5): - Older building but in very good condition & very clean. Great price!
- Tami (10/5): - Older hotel and very well taken care of. Very clean, ac worked great, easy to get to and noise was non existent from truckers. Only complaint , needed a few more outlets as some receptacles are worn out and cord won’t stay in .
- Jenny (10/5): - Nice quaint hotel. Good price
- Brodie (10/5): - Older dated motel but always smells clean and is clean. Wonderful staff, quiet area
- Hubey (10/5): - Friendly check in, helpful employees and manager. Clean room with a comfortable bed and couch.
Bathroom fan not working, but windows open.
- Melanie (10/5): - It was very clean.
- Penny (10/5): - Location
- Penny (10/5): - Friendly and clean.
- Jayne (10/5): - Quaint little Inn. Clean rooms and just outside of town.
- Marlena (10/5): - We needed a place to sleep and this motel was exactly what we needed. My husband indicated that it was his favorite hotel that he’s been to for a while.
- Rise (10/5): - This is an older hotel but very clean peaceful and on the edge of town. There is a restaurant next door and the food is good. My granddaughters 11 and 13 thought it was great too. Stayed there a few times.
- Angie (10/5): - We've stayed twice & both times the room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay again when we're close.
- Debby (10/5): - Quaint mom & pop motel right on US54. It is original retro with comforting beds. Not much for amenities but we love it. Restaurant right next door.
- Angie (10/5): - Definitely a great place to stay! No frills, bur CLEAN!
- Kanae (10/5): - I loved every minute of my stay! For a very affordable price, this place was cute and cozy, clean, pet friendly, next to a great diner, and is very well cared for. What a great find on my trip through Kansas, I hope to return next time around!
- Christine (10/5): - What a gem! Evergreen is a new fixture on our trek to see my family - perfect distance, wonderful people and rooms - old school cozy and very well maintained. Dog friendly! Quiet and lovely. Great diner next door!
- Kathryn (6/5): - Our room was very cold. Even with the heat running, the floor was very cold all the time and the bed near the window and door was cold because there were so many drafts and not great insulation. In fairness, it was an extremely cold night, but the room never got warm and cozy. The outlets were so worn out that all of the plugs would fall right out, so it was hard to even use a hair dryer or charge a phone.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Very pleasant people here and love older motels built in the 1950's and 60's. Classic green/pink tiles in the bathroom. They accomodated our request for a quiet room. Sadly, some booking sites state breakfast is included, which is false. The owners are working to correct this and they do offer coffee in the office and there is a quaint restaurant next door that is open for breakfast.
- Edward (8/5): - An older hotel but kept up nicely. Room was clean, warm, and a very good value for the dollar.
- Edward (8/5): - Its an older hotel, the it is well maintained and clean. Very good value for the dollar. The lady that checked me in was nice.
- Edward (8/5): - It's an older hotel but the owners keep it clean and in good shape. The lady at check-in (Rose?) was very nice and friendly. Very good value for the dollar.
- Jenny (10/5): - I love this unique little motel. Room was clean, the bathroom was so cool- beautiful tiling. I liked that I didn't have to reserve with a credit card ahead of time. A great way to support small business!
- Dennis (10/5): - Love the quaint of it
- Kristina (8/5): Quirky little motel. - It was cold in the room. The heater worked well but in quickly dropped when it wasn’t running. I believe it has poor insulation. Very clean! Cool with old fixtures. Heater was very loud.
- Greg (10/5): - Loved the bathroom and room size - large, 50's tile.
- Mary (10/5): A treasure - This was our second stay. We loved the cozy, home like room during both of our stays. Our two dogs were welcome, and loved walking in the country like grounds, but we noticed a pet fee on our second trip. Overall, a treasure.
- Camilla (8/5): - Was quiet clean friendly..
- Brian (10/5): - The Evergreen Inn Motel is dated but not dirty. I prefer traditional small mom and pop motels that are kept up nicely over the budget level corporate owned places that are not well taken care of. I also demand cleanliness where I stay and will not return to a place that is not properly cleaned or well taken care of. This place checked all the boxes. it was spotless, definitely not old and abused, even though it's very vintage in its appearance, and Rose at the front desk was extremely friendly and kind. The highlight for me was that 1950's space age bathroom sink. It was out of this world!
Needless to say, on my yearly travels I will be making this motel my must stay location in Pratt.
- LuAnn (10/5): Great! - This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It's extremely wrll maintained and clean. The front desk is very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
- Anna (10/5): Wonderful - This place is amazing. Great room, wonderful bathroom, lots of towels. I used the guest laundry and it is very economical. I would stay here again.
- Dennis (10/5): - Owner/Management were superb, friendly and answered all our questions-----very, very nice!
- Jaime (10/5): - This place is like a portal in time. You feel like you’re in the 80’s and everything looks like it is from the 80’s .. except brand new. Really cool vibe and super nice staff. You can tell they take pride in taking care of the place. The outdoor pool was nice and there’s even a cool diner next door for breakfast. Very friendly atmosphere and pet friendly.
- Frances (8/5): Glad we stopped in - Our stay was good. It had a nice clean quiet and peaceful vibe. The bathroom was very vintage, and so was the bedroom. Since we like older things it was perfect. The Night desk clerk was friendly and professional. If we are in the area we wi6stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Retro bathrooms are unique, which we enjoy. Great for a one night rest stop. Super friendly!
- Heather (10/5): - This was a great little place- spotlessly clean with easy access off the highway. Good lighting at night for a woman traveling with a small child and dog.
- rex (10/5): - great place and value
- Peter J (10/5): - We were recommended this motel by friends on our travel through the state. Well worth the stop.and we would come again. 5 stars
- Pamela (10/5): - Rooms very clean like the retro feel of the rooms and the restaurant right beside the motel will always stay there.
- RANDY (8/5): - This motel has been kept in excellent shape considering its age. Everything in the room worked fine and was in good condition. The "retro" bathroom looked probably as it did when the place was built, but was very clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have about my stay was the SMELL in the room. There was an overpowering smell of cleaner in the room, kind of like what you'd get if a whole bottle had been spilled, and it never went away. I know you can expect to smell cleaners when you first walk in a room, but the smell usually dissipates after 10 minutes or so. This did not. Sadly, it was 101 degrees outside so I could not open up the room to air it out, but I doubt that would have even done any good. I left for dinner and it was still bad when I returned. I don't know how I managed to sleep at all that night and I left early in the morning because I couldn't take it anymore. That's too bad because I would stay here again but I'm afraid to take the chance on the cleaning smell again.
- Philip A. (10/5): - Love the nostalgia around this motel. The pool was great as well. What a value to stay here.
- Jimmie (10/5): - Older motor hotel well maintained and very clean. We had a nice visit with the friendly lady at the desk. We’re impressed and will retyrn
- Marvin (10/5): - the owners take pride in their, property well maintained
- Ann (8/5): - An independently owned property. Staff members were personable and nice. Loved the tile in the bathroom! Would stay here again.
- Johna (10/5): - A lovely little motel. I will be back.
- Loran (10/5): - Nice place to stay.
- christina (10/5): - Very clean and conveniently close to the highway. Not a new place. Decent coffee in the morning, very helpful staff.
- lynn (10/5): - Room was very clean and comfortable. Checkin was easy.
- Andrea (8/5): Quick trip! - It’s was pretty cool for a quick stop
- Karrie (10/5): - Love this motel and retro style , clean and well kept . Staff is friendly and helpful . Country charm!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming and friendly - We love this charming historic hotel and hope for the opportunity to return aoon
- Debby (8/5): - This retro motel was cute, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door was good and cheap for breakfast. Amenities were sparse...no inroom coffee or hairdryer but did have small refrigerator and microwave. If you are looking for a place with no flaws, keep going. If you like atmosphere and personality, stay here.
- Steven (10/5): - Well taken care of.
- Charles (10/5): A treasure in time - This hotel fulfilled all of our anticipated expectations: quiet and hospitality
- Kathy (10/5): Will stay again! - This was a real find. Very clean and comfortable. We will absolutely stay again
- Kathy (6/5): Great except for one thing - Checkin was fast and friendly. The room was comfortably furnished. It appeared very clean except for mold inside the ice bucket lid
- John (10/5): - This is our 2nd stay in the last month, we used it to break up a 20 hour drive. Easy check in, right on the main route, easy to find, get in and out in a hurry!
Clean, has everything you need.
- John (10/5): - Clean, fridge and microwave. Love parking right outside our door.
- José (10/5): - The agent was great
- Brodie (10/5): Very nice older super clean motel. - I travel for business each week and stay in many different hotels and motels. This is one I will stay in again. It was older and and retro but VERY clean and super quiet. Not to mention American Owned.
- Kristina (10/5): Retro 50’s Motel! - Great motel from the 50’s! Original bathroom with original tile. Spacious with a heater in it. Very clean. Had a microwave & small frig. Nice desk area and a love seat. Great for a stop on the way.
- Marybeth (10/5): Takes me back to my childhood - Amazing little treasure of a place. Clean, friendly and spacious rooms. It’s a well maintained older property, a cute little time capsule. Bed was comfortable and they had memory foam pillows.
- Valorie (8/5): - It is an older motel with basic amenities. It’s clean, comfortable, and the owner is very nice and accommodating. The price was affordable. I would definitely stay there again.
- Karla (10/5): - We came in late for an overnight stay on our way home to Texas from Iowa. Perfect little getaway for a restful night.
- Diane (10/5): - It was a really well kept Vintage motel experience. We definitely plan on returning when we travel that area again and we’ll recommend it to our friends and family as well. The proprietor was very welcoming and professional.
- Andrea (10/5): - Checking in was very easy, staff were very friendly, room was very clean. Surcharge for pets only $10. Parking in front of room very convenient
- Verified traveler (10/5): Stay here! - We are certain to stay as we pass through again. Rose was kind and accommodating. The motel is as if memories have been preserved, and the accommodations have been well cared for. Wonderful overnight stay.
- Clarence (10/5): - The property was an older motel but has been maintained very well during it's life. Management and staff were excellent.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Friendly, clean and affordable. I would stay again.
- Jeffery (8/5): - Staff was very friendly and was a good place for the price.
- Brenda (10/5): - .
- Luann (10/5): - We love staying here on our cross country trips. Dependably friendly, clean, comfortable vintage motel with very reasonable rates. No hidden fees.
- LuAnn (10/5): Well maintained & clean - The motel is old but very well maintained and very clean. Love the old tile and fixtures. We've stayed in newly remodeled motels that aren't as nice as this one. We will stay here again.
- Mary (10/5): - Exhausted as we reached Pratt, KS, we found a very affordable room (about half what all the other motels were charging) with the unlikely description of a motel AND RV park - With a 9.4 out of 10 rating - That accepted pets. Unwilling to spend over $100, we used Expedia to book a room. We opened the door, to find a bedroom just like Grandma used to get ready for us - carpeted, older furniture, and very clean. Tile on the bathroom floor, a flyswatter on the door, standing pillar ashtrays outside every doorway, apparently installed back in the 50s when most visitors enjoyed an evening smoke - Clean RV hook up area behind the swimming pool - Located next to a large farming field with lovely walkways and grass available to delight doggies and other walkers - Next door to a great local restaurant (closed Mondays FYI). We will definitely be back, just to taste the warm and cozy feeling that you really can go home again.
- Thomas (10/5): - For an inexpensive and very clean room, you cannot get better than this!
My two must haves in a room are clean and safe, which this place satisfies.
The people that run the motel and front desk are very pleasant and friendly. That is a bonus on top of the clean and safe requirements.
The room is very spacious. In addition to the queen bed, there is a rather large living area with a couch. There is also a side are with a desk and chair.
The room has a refrigerator AND freezer as well as a microwave and TV.
The bathroom is also clean and on the large side.
This place also accommodates RVs although I have not seen those pads nor do I know the price. Sorry!
All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my room and accomodations.
As an added bonus, "Ric's restaurant" is open for business and an awesome place to have breakfast or lunch.
Highly recommended for a budget room.
- Tom (10/5): Great value - Great place to spend the night. Comfortable bed
- Clinton (8/5): - A nice place to stay
- FRED (10/5): - Nostalgic but very clean and comfortable
- Kim (10/5): - Room and surround clean bed comfortable staff very friendly and helpful . Great price. Would stay again.
- Micky (10/5): - Wonderful retro motel! Front desk was wonderful. Make sure you eat at the diner next door, Rick’s.
- Joanne (10/5): Retro and clean - Such a cute, clean and retro place! The bathrooms a delight from the 50's...room decor is maybe 70's? It was clean and roomy. We were able to bring our dog. Nice grounds and friendly staff. Plus, such a deal!
- Venonia (10/5): - the lady that checked us in was very nice. she was quick and very helpful. the pool was very nice and the other lady that checked us out answered a lot of questions for me. i would stay there again and the next time i might rent the caboose
- Christen (10/5): - Totally worth the price
Clean
Super nice and helpful people
- Ashleigh (10/5): - Very clean and cute retro motel. The owners are very personable
- Gregory (10/5): - Loved the vintage (1950'S) plumbing fixtures.
- Echo (8/5): - Older “plain Jane”, friendly and after a lo-o-o-ong day easy to find and reasonably priced.
- Charles (10/5): - Traveling on bike and able to park right at my door , property was dated but clean and everyone was friendly , would stay again
- Pat (10/5): - A very nice mom and pop - well appointed, quiet, clean and comfy. We will stay again next year when we travel through! Unbelievable price and nice hometown cafe next door for breakfast😊
- Edward and Debra (8/5): - The motel was very affordable. The sheets were fresh and clean and there were plenty of clean towels. The refrigerator, microwave and bathroom facilities were clean, with the exception that I would prefer that a new shower liner be provided for each new guest and the overhead light fixtures could use some cleaning. The hot water was immediate and the pressure was good. The carpet appeared well vacuumed and the furniture was well kept. Admittedly, most everything is really old. Although the mattress/box springs were well worn, I still slept well. I liked the somewhat firm pillows. The air conditioning worked well. The television was modern with seemingly very good cable. The receptionist was accommodating and very pleasant, providing fresh morning coffee and honey buns in the office. I would stay here again. It was oddly pleasant and a bit cute.
