• Martin (10/5): Very nice property with hosts who've thought of everything - This is an extremely comfortable place to stay. It’s spacious and well equipped with hosts who go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. We really appreciated the little treats left for us to enjoy and extras like spades for Hot Water beach and very portable beach chairs. The area around has plenty of places to visit and the local tips we received were very helpful. We had very good weather, but even on a rainy day the books / games provided would have been a bonus and there was plenty of space to enjoy them. We’d be very happy to visit again- Nothing - everything is very good

• Linda (10/5): More than we expected, exceptional! - Exceptional! Kitchen was so well kitted out, we cooked all our meals in bar one night out. Daily baked treats from Judy were delicious & fresh fruit & avocados on arrival. Everything is thought of, a home away from home but with those essentials that make it a holiday home. Books, games, spades for the beach. Nothing left out. TV in bedroom could be upgraded to be able to connect to WiFi.

Nice area - near Hot Water Beach & Cathedral Cove, tremendous meal at Kaizan at Go Vino just 5 mins walk away. Seriously, if you're in the area don't hesitate - just make sure you stay longer than one night ! all good

We had a wonderful stay, with Judy meeting us as we arrived and letting us into the apartment and telling us all we needed to know. We were in Cooks Beach to celebrate a friends birthday, so only stayed one night. The Bay Breeze was very close to the party venue, so an easy walk home - Judy was incredibly nice and dropped us off at the start (mega appreciated!). The apartment is self-contained and very spacious with a lovely little deck out front and to the side, plus a spacious kitchen and living room, then the 2 bedrooms are very spacious and well setup. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bathroom is very roomy with a very nice powerful shower. We loved all the little touches, with a shower cap available and some cake in the fridge. The overall experience was Outstanding and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Judy and Murray. All the best for the rest of 2025. Everything was wonderful! Nothing to no like.

Beds were comfortable. Place was immaculately clean. They provided beach towels and shovels for hot water beach. They, brought warm muffins in the morning and had fresh fruit from their trees. It was a very quiet area and rested very well. Thank you again to the amazing hosts.

The location is ideal to go to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Judy was an absolute delight and a very conscientious host. Fresh fruit and baked treats made a fantastic stay even better. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. It was lovely being given some home made treats to have with a cup of tea, as well as fresh fruit. Bay Breeze was just a short walk to Cooks Beach and a good location to base yourself at in the Coromandel Peninsula. The TV was up too high

• Peter (10/5): As good as new, modern, fully equipped, in a quiet location near the beach. - It is about 400 m to the beach. The location is quiet. The equipment is excellent, especially the kitchen. Everything is new and modern. The hosts live in the same house, but are discreetly in the background, although they are always available and very helpful. The only potential for improvement: the outdoor seating area is not covered, so that it cannot be used when it rains, which surprisingly we had plenty of.
