- Sara (6/5): Trevligt boende med bra läge för en semester i Rom. Promenad ute till frukosten. - Trevligt rum med helt OK badrum. Skön säng. Fönstret vätte mot en fin innergård så det var väldigt tyst. Det luktade lite unket i korridoren men det kändes inte alls i rummet. Bubbel och vatten fanns i kylskåpet. Läget var bra, gångavstånd till Roma Termini, tunnelbana och spårvagn. Wifi fungerade mycket bra. Frukosten serverades inte på boendet utan man fick gå till en bar i närheten, lite tråkigt den dagen det regnade. Kaffe/te/choklad, croissant och juice. Säkert väldigt italienskt men inte vad man som svensk normalt vill ha till frukost.

- Marco (8/5): Eigentlich gut, aber dann kam das Ende - Das Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bequem. Der Gastgeber hat auf mich gewartet, alles gut erklärt. Es gab gekühlten Sekt als Welcome Drink im Zimmerkühlschrank - alles nett. Frühstück inklusive in einem nahe gelegenen Cafè zwischen 7.00h und 10.00h. Ok, für den Gutschein gibt es nur einen Kaffee und Croissant, aber die Preise sind für Zusatzwünsche sehr günstig. Lage ist gut, nah am Zentrum. Die Strasse ist nicht sehr sauber und Vertrauenserweckend, aber noch ok. Park und Metro direkt um die Ecke. Der Check out war das Schlimmste, was ich jemals erlebt habe und ich reise sehr viel. Das Frühstück wird bis 10.00h in dem nahe gelegenen Cafè angeboten. Aber anscheinend ist es in Rom üblich, um 10.00h schon auszuchecken. Das wusste ich nicht, hat mir auch keiner gesagt. Also kam ich um 10.15h vom Frühstück, habe meine Sachen gepackt. Plötzlich hämmert jemand an meine Tür und - obwohl ich von innen abgeschlossen hatte - öffnete die Putzfrau mit dem Universalschlüssel meine Tür, kam rein und schrie mich an. Mein Italienisch ist nicht gut, aber ich weiss, dass sie mich beleidigt hat. Soviel verstehe ich. Während ich meinen Rucksack nahm, schmiss sie im Badezimmer die Handtücher herunter, beleidigte mich weiter. Ich bin dann verstört gegangen. Das hat leider meinen guten Eindruck völlig zerstört. Schade.

- Rodney (8/5): Very convenient location; comfortable room and amenities. - Very convenient to the Stazione Termini, also near a park. 20 Minute walk to Colosseum. Room was spacious, well-appointed and quiet. Breakfast is a few blocks away at a local cafe. Immediate neighborhood may appear a little gritty, but posed no real problem, Had some problems getting access into the building. I couldn't find a button to open the outside door and once I got after someone left the door open, there was no indication which side of the courtyard the BnB was located on. In short, be sure to get exact instructions from the host as to how to get in. Once I did get in, he was very nice and helpful and courteous. Also, book directly with Vanella to avoid booking fees.

- Maria (10/5): Extraordinario y acogedor - Excelente en todos los aspectos: - Limpieza impecable, almohadas y colchones estupendos. - Instalaciones muy cómodas y cuidadas, lo más parecido a estar en casa. - Ubicación inmejorable, con el metro a 2/3 minutos caminando. - Desayuno compuesto de bollería, café o cacao y zumo. Bastante completo a nuestro parecer. - El propietario fue muy amable, nos facilitó todo el proceso del check in, nos recomendó rutas para visitar y restaurantes donde comer con las 3B, dándonos un mapa muy práctico de Roma para poder movernos por la ciudad. - El alojamiento es muy silencioso y espacioso, incluso la nevera tenía unos detalles cortesía de la casa. - Nos facilitaron el tema de las maletas a la salida, sin ningún tipo de inconveniente. Muy agradecidos, con Roma y su gente, volveremos en otra ocasión y, sin duda, nos alojaremos en Vanella Domus Rome nuevamente. Gracias!

De ontvangst was meer dan vriendelijk, Vanessa vertelde alles wat nodig was en gaf antwoord op al onze vragen. We voelden ons heel welkom. Het ontbijtje lekker en op een heel kleine afstand van het hotel. Alles was goed, de douche een beetje klein, maar wel te doen.

Location is not a great part of town, and for the price we paid for 1 night, it was very overpriced for where it was. You might be paying for the convenience of it being somewhat by the train station.

La moglie una persona squisita che mi ha fatto dono di un'ulteriore bottiglia di prosecco per festeggiare il conseguimento della laurea. Se si cerca un appartamento pulito, silenzioso, di facile raggiungimento dalla stazione, rifornito dell'occorrente per un soggiorno, quello di Vanella Rome Domus è, in relazione al prezzo, la migliore occasione che possiate trovare sul mercato, anzi, supererà sicuramente le vostre aspettative!

The host was very accommodating and friendly-the fridge was stocked with water and a complimentary bottle of wine. Vriendelijke en zeer behulpzame eigenaren. Ontbijt op een andere lokatie, op loopafstand en zeer de moeite waard!

- Asima (3/5): Very bad - When I checked in room was all clean. There was no reception and the owner lives far and he is not an honest man. Its all about money. Full breakfast not included. They only offer a tea or coffee with a croissant and thats it and for this you have to walk 10mins to a cafe from the room. It is not a safe place. Someone snatched the phone of my niece's hand just outside the accommodation. It was a group of criminals who did this. Cleaner was extremely rude. They don't provide all the facilities in the room. It is definitely not worth staying there.
- Dawn (8/5): Perfectly adequate but disappointing - The room was very clean and comfortable and the extra touches of wine in the fridge and bottled water every day were most welcome. Also the toiletries in the bathroom. There was a kettle provided and a good selection of teas, but no coffee. We weren't aware from the description that we would be staying in an apartment converted into 3 separate ensuite rooms in a private block. We chose this property because it is described as a hotel and in the facilities it mentions a bar and snack bar. This is obviously not the case. Breakfast was provided in the form of vouchers to be used at a coffee shop several streets away (which was lovely)and consisted of a pastry, coffee and fruit juice. However, as I am unable to walk too far and the coffee shop was always in the opposite direction from where we were going, we only used it once. The pictures you see on the property details are the coffee shop and not at the property. Also, we struggled daily to unlock the front door . The owner knew it was a problem and showed us how to do it but it was always difficult and we worried every time that we wouldn't be able to get in. We arrived on a very hot day and while the owner was going through the paperwork I was looking for the remote control for the air conditioning. I couldn't find it and asked him about it. He went to a store cupboard in the hall and brought it to me, putting batteries in it . He was clear to state that if they found we had gone out and left the Aircon on or we had it on with the window open he would remove it. He said this was due to rules in Rome regarding electrical usage. Whilst I understand that and wouldn't deliberately waste energy, it felt like we were being held to ransom. If I hadn't asked I assume we would not have had any air conditioning during our stay. However, despite these issues we still enjoyed our stay but we would not return to this accommodation.

- Njtraveltrio (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very helpful and the place was superbly quiet, facing a beautiful verdant courtyard. Enjoyed the unexpected welcome gifts, the tips about transportation and supermarket, and assistance with late arrival, luggage storage and taxi to airport. The host created a very positive experience. The location takes a while to reach, if traveling back and forth by foot. But, if you have at least one contactless credit or debit card per person, it becomes very easy to use a nearby subway station and a couple of key bus and tram lines.

- David (1/5): Worst stay EVER: pick another place! - Nothing The staff, the cleaning lady, was rude both at the beginning of our stay and at the end. She came into our room while I was down getting the car at 10:00 yelling at my wife to get out because checkout was at 10:00: we were out and left at 10:07. This is not a hotel, it is a room in a subdivided apartment with two other rooms down a narrow hallway of the apartment, inside an apartment building. There are 5 flights of stairs to get up, or a 3’x3’ elevator (approximately) to go up in, and we got stuck in it the first night: it did work fine thereafter. Breakfast is not in the building but is two blocks away and you use vouchers in the coffee shop - that was the nicest thing about the place: the people in the shop are very nice and accommodating, and there is good pastry and coffee. The neighborhood is also a bit sketchy and there is no place to stop and unload your bags except the busy street. I tried to cancel this the night we arrived but the owner refused to allow it. This was frankly the WORST travel experience we have EVER had!
- Chris (3/5): Information given is very deceptive. Ask questions before you book. - Liked visiting various places in Rome This NOT NOT NOT a HOTEL. Its a single bedroom apartment. Breakfast was very poor and unacceptable. This is the worst breakfast I ever had considering what you can have for breakfast at the Greek islands, no comparison. A hot drink, a Danish pastry and juice. Difficult to find the place. Even the taxi driver could not find it. No sign or number outside. City tax is 6 Euros per person per night plus 30 Euros for ECO tax.
- Deborah (7/5): Apart from a few minor inconveniences, the place was suitable for my needs and good value for money. - The room was spacious with two beds and very clean. The host was friendly and very helpful. The location is a short walk to Rome Termini. I had an issue with access keys getting back into the property at night. The host arrived and was able to help me but it caused some stress. Also the power points were weirdly shaped and my adaptor was partially hanging out of the socket to charge my phone. Even the hotel hair dyer wouldn't fit the socket in the bathroom so I had to dry my hair next to the bed. The included breakfast was actually a short walk away at a nearby cafe. It was not too inconvenient but it would have been nice to know this beforehand.
