• Sinead (9/5): Luxurious, welcoming & well rested! - We loved our stay at the Townhouse. It was exceptionally clean - not a speck of dust anywhere! The breakfast boxes were so delicious and plenty of food to enjoy later in the day on a walk if you wanted. In addition to the boxes, there is fresh bread and cereal’s to enjoy in the breakfast room. There is an honesty bar in the sitting room which was a lovely touch, you can then BACS transfer the money for your drinks at the end of your stay. Paula and Glenn were so lovely! You can tell they have put a lot of love into the Townhouse and it really shows. 100% will be back on our next stay as we come every year! Breakfast was continental style and included a breakfast box which contained fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, croissants and other baked items. Cereals, toast and coffee/tea also provided. The property has a very useful boot/drying room which we used for drying wet walking boots etc. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.

• KAREN (10/5): I cant write a sentence but just perfect . - Omg , the breakfast box , what a fantastic idea . It was crammed pack with gorgeous goodies . I wasnt expecting much but boy was i wrong ? Croissants , jams , fruit juices , yogurts , butter , tubs of fruit , loose fresh fruit , ham , cheese , Welsh cakes and other things besides . Absolutely beautiful . Absolutely nothing , just perfect .So clean and the owners were absolutely lovely . Room was a perfect size and the bathroom was really modern and clean .

Delightful hosts and a lovely guest lounge with honesty bar. Very quiet at night. Stairs are a little challenging but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment

• Cara (7/5): Comfortable and clean stay - Very clean and comfortable room, easy parking and good location in the centre of town. Everything you could need in the room and lovely shared spaces. The payment system is very outdated and needs to be modernized, miscommunications between the two hosts regarding payment led to an uncomfortable and slightly confrontational checkout process despite payment being made already. Quality of the breakfast box could be improved- using locally sourced produce would be more tasteful for a boutique bnb.

We loved the idea of a breakfast box which you could eat there or take away for later. We will definitely return for another stay. Good value for money

The new breakfast box concept that was made up for you to help yourself in the morning. I felt a self service buffet would be better. A lovely idea but unfortunately there were lots of food in it that I wouldn’t normally eat so felt it was a bit of a waste.

The owner was super friendly and helpful in terms of the local area. There is plenty of parking available very nearby. Most of the time we were able to get in the parking right next door which is free, but the pay and display across the road is convenient and reasonably priced. All of the town's shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Nothing to mention - all very impressive

• Suzanne (10/5): - Excellent hotel in the centre of brecon. While the free parking was often full the nearby paid car parks were very reasonable (4 gbp) . Lovely hosts and delicious breakfasts.
• Guiomar (10/5): Perfect, except for hot night during heatwave - Town House in the centre of Brecon is the best B&B we have stayed in! Everything was perfect: Paula and Glenn were so nice and chatty, the room had every single detail you can think off (even a specific towel to remove make-up so the white ones don’t get destroyed), a magnificent home-made breakfast and the option of parking in a free spot. Thanks for everything! The only unfortunate issue was the heatwave at the time and that nights were too warm for a comfortable sleep, but they provided a small fan which helped a little. Nothing that would not have happened anywhere else unless there was AC which is rare in the UK.

• Daryll (10/5): Beautifully appointed and comfortable accommodation, however may not suit those with mobility issues - Paula and Glenn at the Townhouse were fabulous hosts. They went above and beyond to assist us during our stay in Brecon. Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Access to the rooms is up flights of stairs. The loft room, in particular, has steep narrow steps. However, this would not stop us booking here again.

Great location, really clean and modern and owners were really friendly. We’re both vegetarian and the breakfast options were fab and so delicious! We had a free standing bath in the room which was glorious. We loved it so much we are deffo going to come back :)

The lounge was a lovely place to relax meaning we weren’t obliged to sit in our room to play cards etc, though the room itself was very comfortable. Boot room downstairs was a nice touch as was the honesty bar with a great range of drinks

The details provided before arriving provided all the information that we needed to be able to enjoy our stay. The hosts were polite and very welcoming and gave a walk through the property before going to the room. The room had everything that you could need for a stay and the attention to detail with what was provided and how the room looked, showed in what the hosts had provided and how the room looked. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very stylish and well equipped. We were not effected by any road noise and the view from the room was amazing. We had been to Brecon a number of times before and the accommodation in in a great position to walk straight into the town and enjoy a night out. Breakfast was amazing and Glen had cooked this to perfection. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone to stay here.
