- Jan vd Zon (10/5): - Heerlijk zwemhad met het beste uitzicht ooit. Achter het zwembad is ook een vlonder waar we tai chi lessen hebben gehad. Fietsen te huur aan de overkant van de straat waar je een heel mooi rondje langs het water en de rijstvelden kan maken. Hele aardige personeel dat een goed woordje engels spreekt en lekker eten in het restaurant. Het is echt vakantie gevoel hier. -

Suzy, come tutto il resto dello staff, parla inglese ed è stata molto disponibile ed accogliente! Ci ha aiutati ad organizzare al meglio i nostri giorni di permanenza, sempre con il sorriso e con estrema gentilezza. I prezzi di questa struttura non sono bassi ma, a mio parere, si sono rilevati all'altezza dei servizi che offrono. Sono contenta di aver scelto di soggiornare in questo hotel, lontano dal caos e in mezzo alla natura di Yangshuo.

- Viet (8/5): Authentic experience, pool/restaurant with a view! - Very unique and quaint accommodation. Staff were always in hand and full of useful advice and friendly with good English. Kids loved the pool…and probably a bit too noisy! The walk upstream was scenic with 2 official bamboo rafting spots (and plenty of unofficial ones along the way). We didn’t get a chance to take the bikes for a spin but there were heaps of people on them or electric scooters. The kitchen is nice too! We had no problem getting DiDi for everything including the railway station. It’s very authentic, bamboo furniture, stone sinks and wooden locks on the balcony. We loved it but if that’s not your thing, you might not!

- Mark (10/5): The best welcome ever! 🤗 - A very big thank you to all the wonderful team who welcomed us at The Tea Cosy for 3 nights, we had a wonderful stay in Yangshuo. Our beautiful and very comfortable family room was a real « Room with a view ». We could have spent hours sitting in the armchair looking at it, if there hadn’t been so much to do and see in the area, including beautiful walks, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and incredible views everywhere you look. This small, beautifully designed and decorated hotel, is perfectly located to explore the area, which has so much to offer. Thank you for the time you took to give us a tour on the site of the Liu Sanjie show before it began. What a thoughtful gesture. We strongly advise who ever goes to Yangshuo to see this historical show. It was beautiful. My daughter and I had a little accident on the moped we rented which needed some medical traitement. We couldn’t have been better looked after and cared for by the team! Thank you so much for your advice and for taking us to the local doctor twice during our stay. You were very kind to us and it touched us deeply. We’ll never thank you enough for this. Overall, we only have praise for the Tea Cosy. You can go there without hesitation.

- Moira Conroy-Stocker (9/5): A rustic place, in a wonderful area with staff that go above and beyond to make you feel at home. - the staff at the Tea Cozy were all exeptionally friendly and helpful. They really help to make our stay comfortable and special. The hotel itself is charming and really lovely, with a rustic and homely feel. A short distance to drive to the town of YangShou in a fabulous area, famous for its countryside charm, coffee shops alongside some beautiful river walks with spectacular Karst mountan views. It was a very peaceful place to be. Food was also really good, with plenty of choices from local cuisine to western. We stuck with the local options which were all excellent and the staff sometimes helped us choose our dishes, based on what was fresh and in season - they were only too happy to give us ideas. Part of the old world charm of the Tea Cozy Hotel meant that some of the furniture in our room was not in pristine condition, so there were some ring marks from wet glasses, on some surfaces and few stains on floor matting. However, having said this the beds were very comfy and the odd mark didnt detract from the overall experince.

- Agnieszka (10/5): I had an amazing time at the Tea Cozy hotel - The hotel is located in a very beautiful area, very close to the river and trekking paths. The room was very clean and spacious and the staff extremely friendly, especially the lady owner. There is also a restaurant available with very rich menu - you can order both Asian and western dishes. I really hope one day I can visit again.

- deck (10/5): The best hotel for a stay in Yangshuo - The view from the room, the location, the staff were speaking very good English and have the best recommandations for services and activities. A big thank to Susie that was our gem during our stay. We booked massages, cable car and hot hair balloon, all great, we loved it. Massages were not the best we had in China but still good.

The people working there were kind and helpful, especially the owner named Suzy, who also spoke good English. She goes out of her way to provide any kind of help you might need. She made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Will definitely go back to Tea Cozy! I liked everything about the place!
- Stephen (10/5): - I can't recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are beautiful with wonderful views and the location is fantastic for access to the whole Yangshuo area. There is a lovely vibe and atmosphere to the hotel which is as gorgeous as the pictures show. Most importantly, the staff here go above and beyond to look after their guests. They organised many activities / tours for us during our stay which would have been much more difficult and time consuming (language) if we had had to do this ourselves. Thank you Suzy! Aside from this, they are genuinely kind and friendly people who made us feel so so welcome. Can't recommend this place enough!

The three took so good care of the situation, i.e. helping to translate, staying at the hospital till 4am, driving me around to organize stuff. Never had this kind of experience in any place I stayed at.

The hotel is modern but everything in it was ancient, the gardens were a picture box, it was like being in a novel. I highly highly recommend.
- Yogev (10/5): Authentic stay in a beautiful area! - Location and view is gorgeous, just in front of a road that takes you to the most beautiful scenery of Yangshuo. Also pretty close to the town. Atmosphere is great, we felt welcomed and like it is our second home from our first step in, and thank you for the entire team for a very special stay! The restaurant is also brilliant, reasonable prices with options for any diet (western, vegetarian, chinese etc). The lack of the elevator will not fit everyone, our kids liked it most of the time.

Excellent location with easy access to the Yulong River. We were travelling as a multi-generational family group of seven people, and everyone enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend staying here. - Suzy and the other lovely staff spoke good English, helped us book a river cruise and provided other very useful information during our stay. The pricing was very fair, and the location is much better than staying in Yangshuo near West Street. The Chinese breakfast was 25 RMB per person and tasted great, and came with freshly squeezed, sweet tangerine juice! We didn't find it until the last day but there was a water dispenser on the ground floor. There was a bit of noise from construction/repairs and tree maintenance, but it was only during the day so we mostly missed it, and it was temporary anyway.

Es como entrar en un cuento, tanto el hotel, la habitación, el restaurante y el entorno son idílicos. Podría quedarme a vivir allí, cuando llegué al centro de Yangshuo después de 6 horas de tren + hora y media de autobús a lo que le tenía que sumar el didi para llegar al hotel pensé que me había equivocado al elegir la ubicación por no estar en el pueblo, pero nada más lejos de la realidad, el centro de Yangshuo es ruidoso y caótico, sin embargo la ubicación del hotel es maravillosa, estás justo donde ocurre toda la acción de los paisajes mágicos de Yangshuo. Fue llegar al hotel y enamorarme del lugar.
- Max (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswertes wunderbares Hotel - Besonders schönes Hotel inmitten der dramatischen Bergkulisse. Gut in Schuss und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Wirklich bemerkenswert aufmerksames und engagiertes Team und Inhaberfamilie. Jeder war immer hilfsbereit und äußerst freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist sympathisch und sehr persönlich. Mir wurde sehr bei der Anreise geholfen (Abholung vom Bahnhof wurde organisiert und spart einem doch einiges an Stress, wenn man sich in China noch nicht auskennt. Der Preis für die Abholung war auch sehr fair.) Auch das Essen im Restaurant war richtig gut. Ich habe für wenig Geld ein recht einfaches Fahrrad vom Hotel geliehen. Das hat wunderbar gereicht um den Fluss und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Servizio ristorante rilassato, buona qualità. Suzi eccezionale manager. Vicino ai percorsi hiking and bike, a mio parere posizione perfetta. Manca l ascensore, del resto è un hotel antico ristrutturato. Purtroppo da segnalare che i percorsi hiking and bike non sono ben segnalati, anche se l hotel fornisce una mappa fai da te.

- DAULET (10/5): Менеджер Suzy сделала всё, чтобы моё пребывание с дочерью было колоссально кофортным! - + Самый гостепреимный отель в Китае за мои 15 лет путешествий в Китае, + Весь персонал даёт понятный ответ на английском языке при заказе еды, уборке комнаты и т.д., + Менеджеры и люди на ресепшене очень хорошо знают регион и умело помогают тебе: мне помогли купить билеты на шоу, оформить покупки на местных сайтах (ЕЩЁ И ПРОКОНТРОЛИРОВАЛИ, ЧТОБЫ ЭТИ ПОКУПКИ ДОСТАВИЛИ МНЕ В ДРУГОЙ ГОРОД!), отвозили/привозили мою семью в необходимые локации, давали правильных экскурсоводов (ЭТО ОЧЕНЬ ВАЖНО В КИТАЕ, ТАК КАК МАЛО ЛЮДЕЙ ГОВОРЯТ ПО АНГЛИЙСКИ) + Персонал делает всё, чтобы гостю было комфортно, начиная от еды, советов, организации мероприятий, передвижений, + Когда нам было сложно есть местную еду, их ресторан приготовил нам суп из фермерской курицы, что очень сильно улучшило наше здоровье и состояние желудка, + Каждый день на завтрак мы ели яичницу из фермерских яиц - ЭТО ПРЕКРАСНО! + Менеджеры делают всё, чтобы гость почувствовал себя в комфорте как у себя дома или у своих близких родственников, + Я чувствовал в этом отеле, как будто я нахожусь в гостях у своей сестры. Я обязательно хочу вернуться в этот отель, но уже со всей своей семьёй. Спасибо Suzy и всему персоналу данного отеля.

- Giulio (10/5): - Exceptional stay! Charming, clean hotel exactly as shown in the photos. Our room with the bathtub was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable. Good dinner with a wide choice of dishes. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all speaking excellent English. Special thanks to Anna, who went above and beyond to help us with an airline issue, even speaking Chinese on our behalf. Highly recommended!

- Michel (10/5): - Hôtel de charme, construit et décoré avec beaucoup de goût dans la tradition chinoise. Chambre très spacieuse et agréable. Emplacement exceptionnel tout près de la rivière Yulong. Excellent restaurant. Et surtout une équipe parfaitement anglophone, très compétente et extrêmement attentionnée. Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel que nous recommandons chaleureusement ! Tout était parfait !
- Alaitz (10/5): - Ha sido una de los mejores hoteles en los que hemos estado. El trato ha sido inmejorable y nos han ayudado en todo, éramos 4 personas, dos de ellas mayores y una con muletas. Nos han ayudado con el transporte hasta el hotel, en darnos ideas para las excursiones, (Ruyi Peak, y Bamboo raft from Jinlong Bridge ha sido lo mejor). En cuanto al hotel es un hotel precioso de madera, las habitaciones son muy bonitas y acogedoras, la verdad que dormimos muy bien. No dudéis en ir al restaurante, solo comimos una noche en el y la verdad que merece mucho la pena. -

Badezimmer sauber und einwandfrei, hatten sogar zusätzlich eine Badewanne. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant im Hotel hatte sehr leckeres Essen. Würden wieder kommen
- nora (9/5): Lovely - The hotel is well managed, the room was clean, the view was nice and the restaurant was very good too. The staff was perfect: kind and very helpful. It’s definitely far from the huge crowds of people in Yangshuo, which is a big plus. Still the road is a bit noisy during the day if you are in the rooms close to the street.
- Funny212 (9/5): A wondeful stay! - My stay at the Tea Cozy was unforgetable! Starting from the location (surrounded by the amazing Yangshuo landscape and the Yulong river). It's located in a tourist area, but with Didi/taxi driver, it's not too far from the city center. I rent a bike for 2 days here at the hotel, because I wanted to enjoy and explore more the area, and it was fantastic! I had a double room with a balcony and an incredible view. It had all the ameneties you need (included a kettle, water bottles, fruit and some tea bags). It was clean and despite being on the 4th (last) floor with no elevator, the staff also helped carry all the luggage up/downstairs. Maybe the bed matress was a bit too hard, but this is not even a complaint. It's just my personal taste. The girl staff were extremely kind and they gave all the information I needed. They also helped me arrange a transfer the last day and they gave me a sweet goodbye gift. I'll miss them and the place a lot! 100% recommend it!

- Tamas (10/5): Probably the best hotel in Yangshuo area - Great accomodation close to Yangshuo, but in a more relaxing athmosphere. The staff spoke English and helped us with recommendations and in organising everything, and we could rent bikes as well. The hotel's kitchen is exceptionally good. -

- Lise (7/5): Goede locatie voor een paar dagen. - De locatie was zeer aangenaam en rustig, midden in de natuur. In de straat zijn er verschillende restaurantjes. Op 5 minuten wandelen kan je ook gaan bamboo raften. Verder zijn er tal van mogelijkheden om een scooter te huren. Het hotel heeft een mooie rustige route uitgestippeld voor de scooter. Het dubbel bed was te klein om met 2 te slapen, gelukkig hadden we nog een enkel bed ook in de kamer. De foto's van de kamers en hotel komen niet goed overeen. In het echt ziet het er wel oudbollig uit.

Un grazie speciale a Suzy, che è stata gentilissima e ci ha aiutato con tutte le prenotazioni: lo spettacolo sull’acqua (ci ha accompagnato lei!), la foto con il pescatore e i cormorani, e persino la gita sul fiume Li con autista privato. Tutto organizzato alla perfezione. Anche il ristorante dell’hotel è ottimo, abbiamo cenato più volte e siamo sempre rimasti soddisfatti. - KSiegl (10/5): Friendly staff and very good value for the money - The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and they are just very nice people. They help you around and accomodate every request. The location is a bit outside the city, but in a really nice area with rice fields. We enjoyed it a lot.

- Steven (10/5): The perfect quiet location among spectacular scenery - I loved that this hotel was smack in the middle of the beautiful karst scenery. The hotel had bikes available to rent and provided a wonderful biking route to see lush greenery, flowers, the Yulong river, ancient Chinese bridges and even a little village from the Ming era. The hotel staff was so helpful and warm. The on site restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinners. Highly recommend staying here! Everything was great

I particularly appreciated their attention in preparing gluten free meals upon request. This is not trivial in China!

Hay para alquilar motos eléctricas y tiene una cafetería en frente muy chula. No hay ascensor y la piscina es un caldo. El restaurante está muy rico y son muy amables pero el último día nos sentó mal la comida, lo comentamos y no nos dieron razones ni descuentos. Estuvimos 2 días enfermos.

The real plus of the place is the staff, all smiling and kind and most importantly they speak very good English which is not that common in China even in very well known big hotel chains.
