- Carlitos (10/5): -
- Sandra (6/5): - La cercanía a la playa Instalaciones y decoración anticuada
- sy (6/5): - Overall, it was an okay experience; we truly didn't even stay the full reservation. The one bad thing is that we couldn't cancel.
- ROBERTO (9/5): Espectacular - La atención del personal. Nada.

- wilson (10/5): - lindo lugar
- Alfredo (8/5): Very good -
- Bernard (6/5): - The hotel itself is decent and the staff was willing to help however the beach to the north is very dirty 100 yards past the hotel. I walked the entire length and there was lots of garbage and dead fish etc. To the south and in front of the hotel is better.
The hotel itself backs onto the beach but is located in what I would consider an alley. Not the greatest location
- Felix (9/5): Superb -
- Karla (7/5): Good - The Pool The Room. The security.
- Martha (10/5): - Everything was great
- Michele (7/5): Good - The staff is helpful and the room was okay a little small, windows could have been bigger to let in more light. Felt secure in the property which was good because the area can be sketchy at night. Good during the day nice beaches about a 15- 20 minute walk to the Centre of town.
- Jestin (8/5): Very good -
- Kristell (9/5): Superb -
- Christian (5/5): Passable -
- Alex (10/5): - Great place to stay
- Iulius6 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jefferson (9/5): Superb -
- Melisa (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (10/5): Great place. COMFORTABLE BEDS. Quiet. Friendly staff. - The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. Stayed in other places in Ecuador and these are by far the best. Clean comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. 1km from downtown area so very quiet. Nothing. Perfect.
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Orlando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcelo (8/5): Very good experience - Service was very kind, room was clean and everything worked just fine, breakfast was plenty and very tasty Acces streets not to good
- Mabel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good. Please make the hotel a pet friendly one. It wasn't pet friendly = (
There isn't service restaurant in the Hotel.
- Mauricio (8/5): Very good -
- Dawson (9/5): excellent stay nice helpful staff, good location nice room. would recommend - location and grounds were good. it is rated a 3 star and was definitely at the top for level never got hot water but did not bother us
- Tannia (10/5): - Hermoso
- Kaipainen (8/5): Good location & value - Everything was as expected. Nothing exceptional, but nothing bad. Shower was cold, tough or restricted entries. I assume this was because of security. So better to be secure than easy entry.
- Sims (4/5): Disappointing -
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Alissa (7/5): This town was scary and no safe food to eat. - The hotel and the staff were amazing. This is NOT a town for tourists. The food and water is very sketchy. We were super mindful of our food choices, there were a lot that weren't a person in a hut making food with dirty facilities. We still ended up with severe food sickness. We ended up seeing a doctor at the airport and when we told him what town we were in he said it's not good to go there.
It also wasn't very safe. You can't carry a bag or you could get robbed. We walked the beach one night at sunset, lots of trash on the beach, and ended up back after dark. They had locked up the hotel tight and we had to ring a bell. They said you shouldn't be out here it's very dangerous. We wish we had known all of this before going.
- Denis (6/5): Just OK - The reception was not good and bad béhavior
- Lizzette (8/5): Stay was excellent due to the service. - Service, outstanding the personnel. Long distance from the center of Guayaquil.
- Jfranciscogl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Norobert (7/5): Good -
- Dennis (8/5): Very good - The hotel is on the beach. Rooms are clean and modern. Quantity of breakfast was rather small.
- Alvaro (10/5): Excellent location - The room and valet parking 24hours
- Iulius6 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernando (8/5): - Only four 1-bed bedrooms are in front of the ocean, ours was small with 3 beds placed next to 3 walls. Great breakfast, but need better suggestions for getting meals from town restaurants. Just go to the mall for that. Excellent employees.
- CHRISTOPHE (6/5): - Clean property small parking in front, large jacuzzi not really pool. Beach access.
Some rooms with ocean view,
Pretty expensive for the area.
- kranjan (10/5): Great boutique beach hotel close to Guayaquil - We needed a hotel to spend a few days whilst we wait for our flight to Galapagos. After doing research we found that Playas was the closet beach town to Guayaquil and not wanting to spend several days in the city we opted instead to stay at Playas and found the Hotel Rías. As we had a very tight schedule, we wanted to optimize our time we contacted to hotel to arrange our pickup and drop off from Guayaquil airport. The best way to contact/organize with them is via their WhatsApp business account which you can reach at +593960541292. I prearranged all the hotel prices and transport into one total bill for which they sent me an email link which I could pre-pay with my credit card before arrival. They did a really good job of organizing the pickup and someone was waiting for us at Guayaquil airport with our name on a board and we were quickly on our way to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite small and minimal but very functional and offers great WiFi, good bar service, and easy access to the beach .
PROs
* Located in a quiet area away from the main city beach area
* Great bar with good service
* Very accommodating staff can address most if not all your needs
* very quick taxi service
CONs
* Small windows in the room we had
TIPS
* Contact Essily via WhatsApp for beach service - Cabanas, Food, Beer whatever you need, he has a really sweet 6 year old sister who helps him out, we enjoyed talking to her +593981026364
* Hot water in the shower is on the left, let it run for 2-3 minutes
* get COVID tested at Laborotorio San Andreas +593981896037
* everyone can be contacted via Whatsapp
- Lissette (10/5): - Todo excelente!
- DaniBS24 (8/5): Nice hotel but a bit noisy - The hotel is very nice and well located. There is a nice area outside with a swimming pool and an access to the beach. The staff is also very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The room is not that big but everything is clean and the bed is comfortable. However, the hotel is not very well soundproofed and you can hear noises from the neighboring rooms which made it hard to sleep in the morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is small, with 18 guest rooms. It is in a very quite part of the town. The staff was fantastic. The rooms and the public areas were all very clean.
- Victor (4/5): - Is too overpriced for what they offer. When I got here I asked for towels or stuff for the beach and didn’t have any, didn’t have space to park my car, the pool is just for 2 people (jacuzzi size), breakfast is ok, the beds were great gotta say, but besides that, my humble opinion is that is too overpriced for what they have to offer. Plus, the front desk isn’t too friendly, I asked my invoice to have different info and he sent me to Expedia to do so.
- 871harveym (2/5): Skip it - We tried this place because it was mentioned in a Lonely Planet guide.
Our “non-smoking” room welcomed us with a full ashtray and filthy glass in the bathroom. The area is scruffy and balcony doors could hardly open but let through the shouting of our neighbors at 1 a.m.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Falling apart, ants, needs improvement. I won't be back
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was great, the hot tub was not working and it seemed as if it has not been working for some time.
- juliocZ439DW (10/5): Great hotel! - Best service in the hotel, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beach garden is really nice to hang out, the staff is friendly, they were always there to help in anything we needed. Recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My family stayed here for two nights. The hotel is a few minutes from the main beach area, so it's quieter and more relaxed. The pool is small and not deep, but perfect for our children. They loved it. It has jets for the adults to enjoy. The hammock area is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is a typical Ecuadorian breakfast, simple but filling. We recommend eating at Puerta Espina or El Pescaito for lunch/dinner, because the hotel doesn't offer anything other than breakfast. Rooms are clean and simple. White bedding gave it a clean feel, as well. I would definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The pool too small and I had to ask for hot water..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Expensive for what you get. - The room was clean, but too small....I felt like a was on a cruise cabin. Also, there was a party going on next door until 3 AM....our window was facing the party an we were not invited....long night. Breakfast was just ok. Overall, to expensive for what you get.
