Delicious Toots Sweet fudge as a welcome treat. Transport World (car and truck museum) and Grille Diner (great coffee and breakfast) across the road an added bonus . Also an allocated parking spot. Picked because of the location close to the museum which was perfect plus having stayed before knew the units are top notch and comfy. No complaints
- Meg (10/5): Best accommodation of our trip - already recommended it to others. Well done! - Loved the modern, themed decor, the cleanliness and extra touches. The washing machine was a great asset to have mid trip to NZ. The gas fire was very warm and welcoming. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great location opposite Transport World - which was outstanding. Nothing

- Lee-Ann (10/5): Comfortable and quiet. - We stayed in the Lolly cottage which was cosy and well equipped. Decorated with various lolly paraphernalia, I discovered how to make a lolly cake. Ideally located next to Bill Richardson Transport Museum and a short drive into town. Comfortable beds, separate kitchen and lounge room with a lovely gas fire and Netflix. Loved the little milk bottle in the fridge and the Toi products. Highly recommend Lone Star for dinner. Their garlic bread is a must. Nothing.
- Deborah (9/5): Clean, Comfortable and quiet. Good location for the transport museum. - The apartment is spacious. The beds are comfortable. The shower and bathroom are great. The sitting area is nice to relax in. Its a little out of the main town, but easy to drive. Parking is really easy. Nothing

- Capt. Robert McKay Gray (9/5): Top Shelf Accommodation - The Lodges @ Transport World is Top Shelf accommodation.
These self contained apartments have everything travellers need, comfy beds, BIG SCREEN TV's, SKY Channel, they are spacious with a mini kitchen.
The Bathroom is a good size with a large glassed in shower & of course heated towel racks.
The setting right across the street from Transport World makes it the ideal accommodation set-up for all those interested in attending Transport World.
However the Lodges central proximity to shops, supermarkets even Ascot Racecourse make The Lodges ideal for all people looking for somehere that offers First Class, well appointed & quiet place to stay. If there was a slight hiccup, the Parking may be considered a wee bit tight by some but our SUV manouvered easily into the allotted car space.
For those heading up to the Alps or Queenstown it will be a good car parking practice environment & for those returning from Queenstown it'll be a walk in the park.
- Deirdre (9/5): The staff /owners of theses lodges obviously take great pride in them. They are maintained to a very high standard & - The Lodges are beautifully maintained and very modern. We had an exceptionally comfortable one night stay here while visiting the transport museum. Nothing.

- Hey there its Jules (9/5): Nice clean little apartment with all you need as a mid stop over for South Island road trip. - The location suited us, as we wanted to visit Bill Richardsons Transport Road across the road, (well worth a look & they have a great little cafe for lunch & breakfast). Small deli on the corner and a bottle shop not far down the road. It is a little out of the City but still only a short drive away. The host was very friendly, helpful and communicated with us well.
2 Nights, 2 bedroom apartment with x 2 teen boys and couple. Plenty of room for all. Enjoyed our stay : ) Arghh the washer/dryer combo. Just didn't seem to clean well and clothes were left soggy and smelly. The host was very helpful in explaining how to use it, but we decided to go to laundromat instead.
Also construction banging around at 7am in the morning across the road. Understandably not the properties fault (although our host did apologise ), just an inconvenience on us as we were still adjusting from Western Australian time difference.

- Donna (9/5): Loved staying here very comfortable and good location enjoyed our stay beds were extremely comfy and lovely bathroom - It was very upmarket and very comfortable- had a nice feel to it. Very warm and spacious. Only one minor thing was the tv was a bit high and I got a sore neck having to look up at the screen but beautiful big clear screen just needed to be a bit lower
- Annabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Very Good - Loved the care and attention given to the presentation of the apartment. All comfortable and in as new condition. Nothing we did not like, except as hopefully a positive contribution, we thought that some of the kitchen cupboard space would be better used to install full fridges and not a bar fridge.
- Dandan (10/5): Great stay in Invercargill - The property was lovely- very comfortable and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very beautifully decorated with a full kitchen and comfortable bathroom. It’s not close to any amenities so you will need a car.

- Conan (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Comfy bed, nice location, and the room had all the amenities you could want. - I loved that there was two seperate rooms, the beds were comfy, loads of options on the TV, all the amenities you could want, and the air con worked well.
