Guest Reviews
- Pauline (8/5): Comfortable room. - Location
Room Breakfast wasn't very good. Though i knew it was a self-service continental breakfast it would have been good to have more variety of fruit and additional items such as sourdough bread/ flatbreads, cold meats, cheese & salad.
- Keerthanna (9/5): Friendly host and beautiful stay! - It was very clean, the instructions given were easy to follow and the rooms have been maintained very well. We were all very happy with our rooms, would happily rebook this place!
- Joseph (7/5): - Breakfast has room for improvement. Breakfast

- Adam (10/5): Super b&b would definitely stay again - Very nice place, close to where we were working. Jayne was lovely, gave us an extra room last minute. Room was super clean and comfortable and breakfast was great too.
- Kasthurie (9/5): - Breakfast was very nice with a wide range of options to choose from. Nothing- everything was as expected.
- Ross (9/5): - Lovely renovated property with lots of character and charm. Warm hosts and great communication. Village shop nearby and off street secure parking. It was perfect! Due to being a Sunday and local pubs/fish and chips closed, it would be nice to have access to a microwave in the breakfast room. But I totally understand why this isn't the case.
- Godfrey (9/5): Christmas š rewards from me to me - The shower was exceptionally good with the two heads - tasty breakfast with lots of options and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. My brother in law liked the fact that the b & b was near to the family house so could use the day to the fullest If I had to be ultra critical , I was surprised there wasn't a greater choice of TV channels (for instance there wasn't any GB News) but in the end , I was so tired in the evening finished up dropping straight to sleep anyway lol
- Alex (10/5): I wish I had spent more time there, without the person I was travelling with, that was my fault š¤¦š»āāļø Old school B&B - Very intuitive design, easy to navigate. Nope, canāt think of anything š¤·š»āāļø
- Gautam (9/5): - Old School BnB is full of charm!
Warm hosts, cozy atmosphere, and thoughtful touches made my stay feel special. Perfect mix of history and comfortāIād happily return!

- Bhopal (7/5): We came from standard vale( maha kali shakti tample), so it was a good stay. - We had toast and tea due to we left the place around 5.30 am but it was ok. Otherwise all š Downstairs room was smell a bit damp but manageable. All around everything was good
- Emmanuel (8/5): -
- champion (8/5): Comfortable room in a lovely property in a rural location at a good price. - Location was excellent as we were at a party in the same village. Quietly located. Well renovated character property. A variety of floor tiles in room 2, which reflected turn of the century or even mediterranean feel. Small details like a blue light in the bathroom mirror which gave enough light not to need to switch the bathroom light on during the night and disturb your partner. Would have liked a soft pillow. Strange not to meet the owners at all.
- Matt (10/5): -
- Rose (8/5): - It was very clean
Bed comfortable Would prefer a cooked breakfast but this would not stop us from staying again. The self service breakfast was fresh, well laid out and plenty of choice
- Sanjaya (10/5): - What a fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The bed was pristine and the sheets felt wonderfully freshāyou can tell they take cleanliness very seriously. And let's talk about breakfast! It was a truly superb meal with high-quality ingredients and plenty of options. A brilliant B&B that I can't wait to visit again.
- Kovila (10/5): Quiet and clean place - Very quiet and safe place
We had to leave very early so we would have missed breakfast. The owner was very kind to leave some breakfast.
So very helpful and flexible Only small thing.
I didnāt get the code for the gate to park the car but it was sorted as the neighbours kindly gave it to us as we were blocking his driveway
- Susan (7/5): Very pleasant, nice clean room. - Nice clean room. Lovely and quiet. Good breakfast. I should have checked the location a bit more closely as I thought I was going to be nearer Llandysul. I had been driving all day and didn't want to drive again in the evening, so the food choices were very limited. Not the hosts fault; but check the location before you book.
- Sandamini (8/5): owner was very friendly and helpful - Everything was nice. Clean and tidy.
- Karen (10/5): Perfect as a stop off or few days away. Friendly and welcoming. Lovely stay - Room was beautiful, everything you could need was there Wasn't really anything
- William (7/5): Good -
- Vivienne (10/5): Relaxing stay. - Quiet, peaceful location, clean and comfortable room, friendly and very helpful staff. We did not dislike anything. It was all perfect.
- Geraldine (10/5): cosy, clean and very safe for a young woman on her own -
- Karunakaran (7/5): Good -
- Pauline (9/5): Lovely B & B - Cleanliness of the room
Ample supplies of tea and coffee
Comfortable bed
Responsive, friendly owners Couldn't open the windows fully - the room was quite hot.
The 'continental' breakfast was limited.i..e. would have been nice to have cold meats & cheese, low fat natural yogurt.
No toilet brush in the bathroom
Not enough towels - three would have been nice.
- Donald (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (10/5): Spotless and welcoming B&B in a lovely location with helpful owners. - Excellent for solo travellers and really peaceful. Everything was really organised and easy to find. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. I like the self-service.
- Catharina (9/5): Lovely stay, I would definitely recommend - Very clean, self check in super easy and straightforward , owner very friendly, room and bed are comfortable , showers are great Breakfast was great but would recommend adding cheese and some ham

- Jenny (9/5): Ideal base for exploring the area - Lovely comfortable room. Convenient self serve breakfast. Lovely hot shower. Owners very responsive communicators. Would recommend. Nothing
- Barrie (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): In a word - Excellent! - It was a tasteful conversation which still retained its original character, very comfortable and clean, meeting all requirements. Our hostess was very friendly and made a point of introducing herself at breakfast. We couldnāt fault it in any way.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shukla (5/5): Passable -
- Nicola (10/5): Perfect - Breakfast was a continental self service and was very ample. All dietary needs were very well catered for.

- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Camilla (9/5): The host was were fast answering our questions. And the place was very nice and clean. -
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (7/5): A quiet, comfortable B&B in a rural location, ideal for exploring the surrounding area. - Clean, attractive, comfortable property, warm and cosy (underfloor heating!), very smartly converted, if slightly cramped. Well furnished and well-equipped. Quiet and out-of-the way but an ideal location for what we wanted to do. Parking spaces for each of the 5 rooms. Large garden (which unfortunately we couldn't really explore or use because of the bad weather). Good self-service continental breakfast with cafetiĆØre coffee. Close to a really excellent (if hard-to-find) specialist plant nursery, Farmyard Nurseries at Llandysul, highly recommended (they also have a good shop in Carmarthen)! Uncomfortably narrow space between bed and window. It seemed very odd and impersonal to check-in and have breakfast without seeing anyone else (the owner seemed friendly but only popped her head in once to say hello) although we were perhaps there out of season and got up rather late! Flabby pre-packed petits pains! Digital pre-registration also seemed strange but presumably this is needed because of the self-service aspect of the accommodation. It asked for our next destination, which was said to be a legal requirement, although our next destination didn't ask for it!
NB I suspect the property can be difficult to find without a recce on Google Streetview first, because although the directions refer to blue B&B signs on the lampposts, we only saw two, very close to the building; we saw no signs on the main road and the directions don't say where to turn off.
- Robert (10/5): We very much enjoyed our stay at this spotlessly clean B& B. - The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate. More plain yoghurt and a greater selection of fruit.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Lovely place to stay. Only stayed for the night since we were on our way to North Wales.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muppaneni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandeep (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Will definitely stay again. - Great place to explore the area. Rooms spotless and comfortable and self service continental breakfast early if you like an early start. Hosts very helpful.
- Tracey (8/5): Lovely host! Thank you. -
- Hemingway (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristom (9/5): Good value for the money - Very clean, pretty room, everything functional and working in the bathroom, nice, clean towels and sheets, nice attention to details: the hearts on the night stands, sensor touch lamps.... Good open bar cold breakfast. Nice and welcoming host. Just as a suggestion: an expresso machine in the dining room and a mini fridge in our room would have really helped a lot.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - It was very quiet / tucked away. Lovely location and facilities were great! Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Stayed 2 x nights very comfortable, easy parking they were very accommodating nothing too much troub - The breakfast was good with lots to eat. No toilet brush in our room.
- David (9/5): Clean and comfortable, room changed without notice and then caused slight confusion where to park. - OK. Choice of breads.
- Rose (10/5): Peaceful location, beautifully decorated and will stay there again. - Our second stay while visiting my dad at a nearby care home. Comfortable bed, extremely clean in lovely surroundings. Nothing to dislike
- Avari (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (10/5): we were very happy with our choice of accommodation, it was lovely and clean and so very peaceful - Breakfast was totally fine, plenty of choice and lovely homemade jam nothing
- Keymer (9/5): Very pleasant room with all facilities. - The location was very convenient for our meeting at Capel Dewi. The room was very clean and comfortable with all facilities. The dining room was well presented and the breakfast was quite sufficient. Bed side lights not on both sides. The shower room was quite compact but difficult to do much about that.
- Stephen (4/5): Donāt bother - Didnāt stay to eat it - boring croissant and muesli Tiny room for money-but was clean- boring place had to travel to camarthen for food- not one welcoming word
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Sushant (9/5): Superb -
- Sheela (8/5): Very good -
- Neale (8/5): Very good - Great little B&B, nicely converted old school. The owners have done a first class job on the renovation.
- Daniel (9/5): Nice B & B - Tidy, clean, convenient and very easy self check-in/out. Miss the cooked breakfast, but good choice of toast/fruit/juice/yogurt and cereal to eat for breakfast.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The location was ideal where full and clear direction to the b&b were provided .
The room was clean and comfortable, with no road noise through the night.
Thank you for a great night's stay
- Isabel (10/5): Lovely stay in beautifully converted old school building. - Lovely room & en-suite bathroom. We were there in December in a storm & room was nice and warm. Didnāt get to use the garden but garden looked lovely. Key safe & self service breakfast worked well.
- Ramesh (7/5): Good - Compact and rustic , good checkin There was 1 guest room abutting the dining area and we were instructed to maintain silence during breakfast, while we do respect otherās privacy we also have our previlages
- Helen (10/5): Lovely stay would definitely stay again when next up to meet with my friend - Easy to find with own parking space off road. Room 1 was comfortable and warm, although a radiator towel rail would have been nice š.
Self service breakfast was enough and enjoyable. Everything was good
- Claire (10/5): Everything had been thought of. The room, breakfast, booking in and energy saving methods were all of the highest qualit - Layout, facilities and situation Nothing!
- Kirstina (8/5): Nice - Location was very close to family and room was lovely.
Would definitely stay again The breakfast was very basic, advertised as continental but was just cereal or toast. Think more choice would have been nice.
- Yolandi (7/5): Stayed for work, slept well, good value for money. - Room was nice and modern. Building traditional. Decor was nice. Bed was comfortable. There was mouldy fruit in the fridge - this wouldn't put me off staying again though.
- Richard (10/5): Great facilities and charming service - Clean and modern plenty of tea and coffee in the room which was welcome after a 200mile drive Nothing
- Ashu (10/5): A great place to stay with amazing host. - 1. Communication from Jayne was prompt and all clear. Amazing host.
2. Clean and comfortable facility.
3. Facility has Electric Vehicle Facility if required. Its a slow charging but very handy when you need it most. Can't think of any.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vidler (10/5): Excellent find and when we visit our daughter again we will definitely book this B&B again - Really clean, continental breakfast was more than ample, quite and warm. For us it was central and easy to find.
- Dinesh (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (9/5): Superb -
- Bharat (7/5): Average - Cleanliness Facility
No lift
- Dirk (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts are very friendly and I really enjoyed the little chat we had. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. My room was small but everything was really thought out. The same goes for the breakfast: It's self-service but with great attention to detail. The building is beautiful too. There is a garden where I could sit and watch the stars. I only stayed one night, but I'd come back at any time and can only recommend this BnB.
- Jan (9/5): Comfortable, clean and welcoming as always. - We were sad that a full English was no longer available, but the self service system for "continental" was well laid out and easy to use. We loved having the patio doors to open as it was particularly hot. As always the room was immaculate and comfortable. The cold tap in the bathroom ran hot most of the time which made cleaning our teeth unpleasant. We had a travel hairdryer provided which wasn't brilliant for my thick hair, but that's a minor complaint. The only other problem was the noise in the dining room woke us up on two mornings. Perhaps some rugs would deaden the sound of scraping chairs or the note asking guests to be quiet should be bigger and more obvious. These are really small problems and overall we loved our stay as always. Thank you, Jane.
