• Kerian Alexandre (1/5): - Pas grand chose Franchement, très déçu par cet hôtel, qui ne mérite absolument pas ses 4 étoiles. Dès l’arrivée, l’endroit paraît désert et sans aucune ambiance. Les équipements sont dans un état lamentable : la salle de sport est minuscule, avec du matériel rouillé et clairement mal entretenu. La piscine est glaciale, impossible d’en profiter, et les matelas autour de la piscine sont vraiment immondes, tachés et sales. La chambre n’était pas mieux. La télévision semble dater d’une autre époque et fonctionne à peine, même après avoir signalé le problème. L’isolation est catastrophique : on entend toute la rue, les voitures et les klaxons comme si les fenêtres étaient ouvertes en permanence. Impossible de se reposer correctement. Et ce n’est pas tout : ils n’ont même pas d’eau à vendre sur place. Les toilettes communes ne ferment pas correctement, il n’y avait même pas de papier toilette et l’état général laisse vraiment à désirer. Quant au sèche-cheveux, il est totalement nul et de très mauvaise qualité. Globalement, rien ne correspond au standing annoncé d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Au mieux, cela ressemble à un mauvais 2 ou 3 étoiles. Le manque d’entretien et la qualité des installations sont vraiment inacceptables pour le prix payé. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel.

The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, and everything is spotlessly clean. What I loved most is how well-maintained it is despite its age. The staff clearly take pride in the place, and the service is warm and personal — the kind you rarely get in modern chain hotels. The only real downside is the elevator, which was painfully slow and took forever. Breakfast is served in a beautiful old-school dining room with a solid buffet that includes fresh fruit, good coffee, and tasty local options. The pool area is peaceful and feels like a hidden oasis. If you appreciate character, nostalgia, and genuine hospitality more than sleek modern design, this hotel is a hidden gem. It’s not flashy or trendy, but it’s reliable, comfortable, and full of soul. I’d happily stay again. The air conditioning didn’t work at all during my stay, which was disappointing given the hot weather. The staff were quick to respond and kindly provided two standing fans, but unfortunately the fans were old and incredibly noisy — the constant loud rattling and humming made it hard to sleep at night.

• Wilhelm (9/5): Absolut empfehlenswert - Das Personal an der Rezeption, fünf freundliche hilfsbereite Damen, spricht englisch - angenehm. Auch die Türsteher waren zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist nicht ganz zentrumsnah, war für mich aber insofern passend, als meine Banken fußläufig erreichbar waren, ebenso zwei Bioläden, eine Wechselstube, ein kleiner Supermarkt. Es sind einige Schritte zu gehen, aber dafür in einer schönen Allee zwischen den beiden Straßen. Es gehören nicht nur der Schlafraum und das Bad zum Zimmer, sondern auch ein Küchenteil mit extra Spüle, Eisschrank und großem Tisch. Zudem eine gemütliche Sitzgarnitur. Warme Dusche (in der Selva oft nicht selbstverständlich). Besonders gut hat mir der Parkplatz gefallen: Für Diebe schwer zugänglich. Alles war in Ordnung.

Água quente com boa pressão, quarto muito limpo, cama ótima, muito confortável! Ônibus executivo vindo e indo para o aeroporto para na porta! Região bonita com passeios para fazer a pé, vista da praia e dezenas de opções de alimentação nas proximidades, desde fast food a restaurantes mais refinados De manhã cedo tinha barulho de buzina, mas isso não é culpa do hotel, as janelas são boas, é culpa do trânsito caótico de Lima com seus péssimos motoristas.

• Lena (8/5): - Sehr nettes Personal, top Pool auf dem Dach (schade dass dieser erst um 9:00 öffnet) und sehr gute Lage. Ich würde hier wieder übernachten. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut! Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Lima ist eine laute Stadt und die Dämmung ist nicht so gut, so dass immer etwas Verkehrslärm zu hören ist und dass obwohl ich recht weit weg von der Straßen wohnte. Das ist allerdings quasi überall so.

Being the last stop on the airport express bus is a big plus. Had to ask to move rooms from sixth floor directly under the restaurant, as too noisy. at night as chairs were moved and people went to toilet above. Once we moved to the fifth floor it was perfect. The fridge and TV in this room was bigger too.

Lo que fue mal es que la habitación estaba como cerca de un generador o algo así y el ruido era constante. No se podía descansar. Tuvimos que tener toda la noche la tv puesta para tapar ese ruido. Por más que un hotel pueda estar bien, si no se puede descansar en las habitaciones, no vale para nada
