- Geronimo (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Jonathan (6/5): - The bed was like a cloud. There were flies.
- Yvonne (8/5): Enjoyed meeting the friendly owner. - N/a Nothing.
- Mary (8/5): It was a decent place to stay. - It was very clean, they replaced my towels daily. The bed was comfortable and it was roomy. The price was decent. It was noisy. They put me in a room at the bottom of metal stairs and there are lots of construction workers there so all night long I heard people up and down.
The price was decent, but since I paid cash on site I didn't get the same price as online. From now on, I will start looking for one that doesn't up my cost by $20+ for paying cash on site.
- ChristiAnne (8/5): - Rooms open to parking lot. Didn't expect that. Manager/owner and son were quite solicitous and their kindnesses made up for my unmet expectations.
- dorota (3/5): Not nice place. Too outdated for the money, the next morning we left ASAP. - Basic cleanliness. Comfy bed. Located very close to industrial area. Overall appearance, room furnishing are quite outdated and kind of neglected.
- debb (10/5): - No Breakfast
- Massey (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Very nice rooms - Front desk lady was excellent No restaurants even close
- Michalina (7/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): - Friendly staff, clean rooms.
Gentleman's club next door
- Kimberly (7/5): Good for what I needed-a clean room with comfortable bed for a short night - Clean room, easy access, pets allowed with fee. Comfortable bed. Industrial location made air outside and inside smell sour and “skunky”. Location not good if small kids want to run around.
- Stephen (8/5): - Room comfortable and quiet with 2 double beds. Lots of flies around.
Old but good motel for price.
- Jessica (6/5): - Clean room. Old
- Diana (6/5): - We did not get a king bed like we requested. The room we got had two full/queen beds. The room is very small and tight. We stayed two nights. The positive about this place is they only charge $15.00 a night for dogs.
- Michael (10/5): - People in general , very friendly, lots of history to experience, great couple days!
- Daniel (10/5): - Awesome front desk staff an a good price.
- Timothy (8/5): - Clean room with friendly staff. Not a bad room for the price.
- Macey (8/5): - No frills. Cheap basic but clean. A little strong on the scent in the room.
- Ronald (10/5): - It was a very good value for the price.
- NATALIE (10/5): Adequate for Just an Overnight Stay - The motel was easy to find right off the highway, but there wasn't much within walking distance. The building is old but the room was updated. It was a quiet and comfortable stay with a welcoming front desk person.
- Jackie (6/5): - The entire motel is in need of cleaning and updating. The front of motel is freshly painted, but the rooms were haphazardly put together and not as clean as a motel should be. Appears no money is put into the upkeep. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- Alejandra M. (10/5): - Affordable, clean, and comfortable.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Close to work
- Benjamin (10/5): - I can tell they're working hard to keep this place looking nice!
- Leora (5/5): - A lot of flys in our room. Bathroom curtains dirty.
- Vince (10/5): - Clean rooms and a friendly staff make it a welcome relief for weary travelers
- Ilene (4/5): Don't stay here!!! - The water was hot with good pressure in the shower. The mini fridge had a REALLY nice freezer that worked better than most that are in an upscale hotel. The walls were cinder block. The parking lot smelled like poop (we didn't know that the sewage plant was right across the street). There were some sketchy people lurking around in the parking lot. It felt like a $50 a night cheap motel. The entrance had an uneven block, so we almost tripped every time we entered or left the room. It wasn't dirty persay, but I didn't feel like I was in a clean room either.
- George (8/5): - Other than the people outside being loud, everything on the staff part was great! Clean beds striaght forward shower and fridge.
- joseph (8/5): - loation
- Reisinger (7/5): - TV remote control was not programmed with TV. Only on/off and volume worked for the TV. No channel surfing.
- Kurt (4/5): - OK older motel worn and run down. Smell from the processing plant across the road is nearly unbearable
- David (9/5): I would stay here again if I'm ever in Dodge City. - Everything. My expectations were all met. Nothing I can think of.
- Lauranne (6/5): - Very easy checkin. Air conditioner works well and the room cools off fast. The entry to the rooms are outside. There was a mouse sitting in the doorway to our room and it didn't want to move. We finally got the mouse to move and it left. The room looks clean and no evidence of mice.
- Gwenna (10/5): -
- Jadyn (10/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful
- Marivic (6/5): Pleasant -
- William (8/5): - Very clean for an older hotel. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Cannot beat it for the money. Owner's are very nice. Beds are comfortable too. Very important. All around a great deal. Kitty's restaurant next door has awesome food.
- Ron (8/5): - Clean, simple, worth the price.
- Schutz (7/5): Good -
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Bruce (10/5): - Nice clean room for the night. Cheap too
- Kelly (7/5): Good - Cost Outdated and small
- Stephen (6/5): - Older property needs rehab.
- Davidson (6/5): Pleasant - Could use an update
- Tara (8/5): - Good stop for one night while traveling
- Gary (4/5): - When we charged more than we were told by Expedia that we were suppose to pay. When asked owner about it he said he didn't know how that happened. He did refund me the amount that we overpaid. The shower was shorter than we are. My husband and I are 5'7 and I had to bend over to wash my hair, The stool ring was so small that we could hardly set on the stool. We only had 2 small pillows. It is a good thing we brought our own pillows with us. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- Patten (6/5): Pleasant -
- NORA (8/5): - Older hotel but clean rooms and comfy bed. Owner very attentive. Evening cow manure smell was horrible.
- Lane (2/5): - Nasty
- Stephen (5/5): Passable - Window not made to open.
No snack machine
- Kelly (8/5): Great value, clean rooms - The room was like a suite
Beautiful clean Restaurant next door is always closed
- Viola (4/5): - No fault of the motel, the area stinks due to livestock. The bed also smelled bad. Not worth $80.+.
- Denice (8/5): - Place was clean and in a safe location. We arrived late and left fairly early...we were just passing through.
- Megan (8/5): Perfect for an affordable stopover in Dodge City. - Clean and quiet, good price, pet friendly. A little run down, but for the price it’s understandable.
- Jose (5/5): It was good - That the suit was what I needed for me and my dogs That it smelled around back and the flys were terrible
- Jennifer (8/5): - Staff were friendly and helpful. Right across the road from a packing plant, not a quiet area. Stayed one night, it was clean, just outdated.
- Larry (10/5): - Clean and better than expected
- Pamela (8/5): - Clean. Comfortable. Exhausted so just fell into bed. Didn't hear the neighbors. Would stay again.
- Gustavo (10/5): - Staff was very friendly. Nice property. Clean room. Enjoyed my stay.
- Norman (8/5): - Fair price good location east of town
- Stephanie (10/5): - Front staff was amazing!
- Greg (8/5): - It was a good place to stay on a budget & I was not in the room much except to sleep & shower. For a relaxing vacation type stay one might want to spend more money elsewhere.
- Jeff (4/5): - It was not clean, the door jam had been repaired several times from somebody, forcing entry, the toilet was not secured to the floor, the showerhead was not secure, they were stains on the walls that repair marks everywhereit
- JONATHAN (2/5): - When I first arrived, i noticed that my room had clearly been broken into before.
At 1:38am, I was awakened to the sound of someone trying to open my door. I looked out the peep hole to see a man standing there with a pitbull. By 1:42am, there was a woman with him. Also trying to use a key card to open my door. Rattling the door between each failed attempt.
At 1:46am, I watched one of the hotel staff approach my door. His key card worked. And my door was opened to him and the strangers. I said quite firmly, “why are you letting strangers into my room at 1:30 in the morning!?!?” Naturally, he apologized and said he didn’t even know that the room I was in was rented.
I don’t know why I didn’t call the police. But I stacked the furniture in front of the door, clutched my pocket knife, sat on the bed, and stared at the door until morning.
This is the first time in my life that I felt genuine concern for my safety in a hotel room.
- Lamb (7/5): Good -
- Zane (10/5): - I stayed at this hotel with my cat. The room was very clean & my cat was very comfortable. She did not seem to detect any previous animals that may have stayed in the room.
- patricia (8/5): - Nice stay
- Marlene (9/5): Superb -
- Debbie (2/5): - I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel it's important to warn others. Our room was extremely outdated, and the noise levels were unbearable. We could hear every sound from the neighboring room as if the people were in ours, despite the walls being concrete blocks. The guests above us were up all night, and the constant noise from their footsteps echoing through the floor was overwhelming.
On top of that, cleanliness was a major issue. The towel I used after my shower was covered in long black hair—completely disgusting. The washcloth looked filthy to the point that I even asked my husband if he had already used it.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.
- Derek (10/5): - Prefect for an overnight on a cross-country trip. Safe and clean and economical.
- Elizabeth (6/5): Old property - First, I cannot fault the owners. They are friendly and customer service orientated. The rooms were clean and even had hard flooring to make cleaning easier and better. However, I was in 2 ground floor rooms (family had other room) and the second floor squeaks. So every time the upstairs guest had to walk somewhere, you could hear it. Loudly. My grandpa coughed in the other room and I could hear it clearly through the walls. Sounds mitigation in a property this old would be prohibitively expensive so I don't fault the owners. Just, only if you are a heavy sleeper that likes a very firm mattress should you stay here. I'm a light sleeper and was miserable.
- Wayne (10/5): - Convient and economical
- Joshua (4/5): - Stinks
- morgan (8/5): - Outside the property looks a bit rundown but inside the room was spotless, had all new furniture, carpets, appliances.
- Patrick (9/5): It was a comfortable room. - Location was excellent! I actually ate breakfast at Miss Kitty’s Cafe next door. The water pressure from the shower could have been a little bit stronger.
- Terry (10/5): - We checked in late and loved the hotel called to make sure we were still coming
The parking lot is small.
Loved the room.
- Jeanna (7/5): Good - Very clean, up to date room. Bed was hard. I ended up sleeping in the chair. Check in person did not speak clear English.
- PERRY (8/5): Review - Good accommodations.
- Lyle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only stayed 1 night in route to a further destination. We got in late, got to our room & we couldn't get the tv to work. It is a family owned hotel & the lady came to our room & did video chat with the husband until we did get it working even though it was late & we had dogs with. This experience showed they really care about the business & the guests.
- robert (6/5): - Outside dumpster area filth.
- Lori (6/5): Pleasant -
- thomas (10/5): - very friendly staff, room clean, Motel is very utilitarian
- Donald (9/5): Superb - The staff and location of the hotel was great. The bed is very firm and there is no give to get comfortable. Perhaps a firm memory foam type mattress would fix all that..
- Ubbelohde (3/5): Old and dated room. I would not stay here again. - Easy checkin Very dated. Bathroom was old and grungy.
- James (10/5): - Clean comfortable room.
- Jay (10/5): - Quiet and Safe. Clean and affordable.
- Johnna (8/5): - Limited parking when hotel is full
- Doyle (10/5): It was as expected. This is not a new hotel, but worth the price. Staff were easy to work with. - Rooms were clean as was the bedding. All good
- Lorrayne (10/5): - Best nites sleep we'd gotten in days. Awesome saloon right next door. Boot Hill casino was horrible.
- Roger (10/5): - Inn was convenient and comfortable.
- Becky and Jim (10/5): - Property was great, at least room we had.
It was clean, and LOVED NO CARPETING AND HAVING LAMINATE FLOORS. Will absolutely stay here again.
- Jeffery (8/5): - It was nice and quiet
- William c (8/5): Nice overnight stop on the east side of town! - Nice place and was clean. The down side was a small bathroom, no breakfast, and pool is filled with rocks.
