• Jordan (10/5): A warm local stay that helps add to your visit to Slovakia & poprad that is boosted by lovely people - We loved our stay because of the homely feel you get the moment you arrive! Lovely welcoming staff, spacious rooms that’s well looked after, convenient parking, helpful with planning your time in poprad! Great location in the old town (the best part) If I had to be very picky, maybe a little more cooked breakfast options?

Delicious breakfast with tasty fresh ingredients but quite monotonous. Clean rooms with comfortable beds, mini bar and some Slovakian snacks (extra charge). Perfect for 3-4 night stay. Nothing.
• Moroboshi (6/5): Margins for improvement - The room was recently refurbished and clean. The room was missing a closet to hang clothes, even though there were many drawers. Nobody could speak any English so they failed to explain well that the payment can only be done in cash, no receipt whatsoever offered, in order to avoid paying taxes to Slovakian government. Breakfast could be improved.

• Fernando (10/5): Beautiful property, very close to the centre of town and excellent and friendly staff. - Location, facilities, staff, breakfast. We were leaving early and they were incredibly helpful to organise a taxi and prepare breakfast early prior to our departure. The chimney in the small bar area is a cosy touch to a property that overlooks the town. The terrace was great to have a drink in the evening. I cannot fault the property
• Erika (10/5): Great stay! - This was such a lovely accommodation! It was impeccably clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast consisted of mainly homemade dishes (even the granola). We appreciated the 20% off at Aquacity Poprad. The location is good, particularly if you have a car (or else it is a 20-25 minute walk to the train station.) The accommodation only accepted cash. This was stated in the booking.com information at the time of booking, but it just made me wonder if you stayed there for a week how much cash you need to withdraw which is not ideal, especially as we live in the UK and have a non-EU bank card.

• Indre (9/5): Superb - It was very clean and cosy. Big comfortable bed, big bathroom. Very polite owners. Breakfast prepared with care, some home made cake options. It was possible to have late dinner until 9 pm and it was perfect after all day hike to mountains. Would definitely come back.

• Azar (5/5): The hotel is intended for a maximum of one night. Not suitable for long-term family vacation. - Rooms are clean, cosily. Free parking is a big attitude. Availability of dinner. Ordinary breakfast, nothing unusual. No coffee machine. Tasteless coffee. Very poor sound insulation. In room on the parter you hear everything outside and reception till late evening. Very soft pillows that make your neck hurt. The booking shows the price with taxes and fees, but upon check-out we paid additionally 4.5 euros in city tax. it's outrageous. Cold air is drawn from the windows, it is necessary to adjust the window density. The hotel is clearly overrated. price-quality ratio does not correspond to the declared.

• Krzysztof (8/5): Very good - Very nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. Good wifi quality. There is a bar and relax area in the main facility where you can enjoy wine and snacks - we were happy to spend time there in the evening as we arrived on a very rainy day and it was a great alternative for driving to some restaurant downtown. Guests get a discount card for Aquacity Poprad but if you want to go there, remember to check the opening times as the pools get closed quite early. Darinka is located in the residential area and rather on the outskirts of it so for shopping, selection of restaurants etc. you either have to drive or you should be prepared for some longer walk. Parking is 'tight' ;-)

• Ievheniia (10/5): Noce, cosy and beautiful apartment with great hosts - The room was exactly the same as described and as on photos; it has very pleasant design and all furniture looks new. We liked the table with chairs outside just near the window (we were on the ground floor, the floor above has balcony, so it is quite the same). We met their very pleasant woman as a host who met us and was helping with breakfast next day, unfortunately, I’ve never asked the name. The communication was very nice and friendly, it was easy to understand each other with Ukrainian on our side and Slovak on her :) She also advised some places to visit. breakfast is good, it is served as buffet. If you are not taking it, try to take anything else in the place where it is served - it has good atmosphere, we could not leave it for a while :) We checked in on Friday evening and it was quite cold in the room as obviously no one was in our separately standing building and nights are cold etc. It got better next day when we had a lot of neighbors, probably building became naturally warmer. Anyway, this is nothing comparing to the whole impression.
• Phillipa (9/5): Lovely hotel, with very friendly and helpful host - Lovely host, restaurant and breakfast were very nice. We didn't see any other guests, so felt we were very well looked after. Rooms were comfortable, even with 3 in the room. Showers and beds were comfortable. One flight of stairs up to the rooms, but not too bad.

• Alejandra (10/5): A great choice - The price, facilities, cleaning and attention was excellent. It has a lot of variety at breakfast and tea to drink but as a suggestion we would have liked to option lactose-free milk or almond milk because my boyfriend is allergic.It wasn't a problem anyway.
