We had a beautifully decorated, two floor apartment, in the middle of the old town. The owner Scott is one of the best hosts who we met on our Puglia trip. We will be back hopefully to beautiful Gallipoli and Palazza Salapolis is the only place to stay for us! We loved everything about this place.

• Peter (9/5): Stylish apartment in the old town with a roof terrace. - A very well run B&B. The apartment was large and stylishly decorated. The hosts are friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed the shared roof terrace - we stayed in April and it was great for sitting outside at the end of the day with a beer or wine from the excellent in-house honesty bar. Wifi is good even on the the roof. Breakfast is excellent. The location is good too, very close to the center of the old town but on a street with fewer people. The kitchen is certainly good enough for cooking a meal. Some the design choices are stylish but impractical. The bedroom floor is made of small pebbles which looks great but is uncomfortable without shoes. The shower / bathroom of our apartment has a glass wall and faces the window. Not only are you visible to anyone in the apartment, but also to the apartment across the road unless you close the shutters. I still recommend it though, we enjoyed staying there and it's good value.

Die Wohnung ist für Gehbehinderte mit Knie- Hüftprpblemen nicht geeignet, da sehr viel wund hohe Treppenstufen zu bewältigen sind.

• Fernando Mecklenburg (10/5): El mejor lugar de los 20 que nos quedamos en la Puglia. - Está en pleno cento de Galipoli lo que esmuy bueno, es un lugar que funciona muy parecido a un hotel, tiene un diseño único muy bien decorado, muy amplio y lleno de detalles, el desayuno servido muy bien y con variedad, además de personas bilingues atendiendo. Punto altisimo es el anfitrión Scott, siempre atento y ayudando en todo, se agradece que se hable inglés. En resumen fue el mejor lugar de los 20 que nos quedamos desde Roma a la Puglia.

We only had one night in Gallipoli at this apartment and that is definitely not enough. Gallipoli is a lovely town with a lovely wee beach great atmosphere and fantastic eating. It would make a great base to explore further.

• Ilse (9/5): Tremendous place! Exceptional host, bicycle friendly accommodation. - We were 4 cyclists and had bicycles. This host welcomed us and provided safe storage for the bikes . When we had a problem with one bicycle, he offered to take us to the bike shop. Scott provided very detailed instructions about the accommodation, advised us about a good resistant and was tremendously supportive . We highly recommended this accommodation, which is within walking distance from all the sites. The breakfast was perfect!

• David (10/5): - What a beautiful and stylish building, full of color, art, and beauty. A gem in the heart of Gallipoli’s old town. The breakfast was delicious and hearty! Loved having the protein included as well (meat, cheese and eggs). Scott, the owner, was always available and quick to respond to answer our questions, he was so generous and kind to make dinner reservations for us, get taxis, and anything else we needed. He was also a wonderful source of information as we planned our day trips. He and his staff are top notch and very attentive to all their guests. We liked having the beautiful beach in Gallipoli a few short blocks from our apartment. If you get a chance visit Scott’s workshop, a place where he creates beautiful works of art. And visit his one of a kind store/shop with incredible high quality items…all individually designed and handmade. Wonderful accommodations, incredible stay and memories. Thank you Scott!

• Philippe (7/5): Déco chic en plein centre - Bonne adresse si vous cherchez un appartement à la déco originale et chic (pas forcément très fonctionnelle) plutôt qu’un B&B en immersion dans la vie italienne. Le logement est en plein milieu du centre historique. Le stationnement n’est pas très pratique : après 18h (même mí-septembre) il n’y a plus de place disponible sur le parking du port. Logement un peu bruyant en raison des cloches et du restaurant à proximité.

• Gloria8590 (10/5): Il soggiorno è stato davvero ottimo. - I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili, all'arrivo siamo state accolte da Scott (uno dei soci) che ci ha illustrato tutto il necessario (caratteristiche appartamento, possibilità optional, ecc.) e ha condiviso con noi un link su WhatsApp contenente alcuni suggerimenti circa locali, shop, ecc. Il nostro appartamento era davvero di ottime dimensioni, dotato di due camere, cucinino ed un bagno davvero carini con possibilità di effettuare la pulizia giornaliera e la sostituzione ogni tre giorni della biancheria (lenzuola e biancheria da bagno); inoltre, era dotato di due balconi graditissimi. La colazione ben fornita di torte fatte in casa, biscotti, frutta e salumi, uova, ecc. oltre che di bevande calde preparate da Francesco (uno dei soci) . La struttura è in una posizione centrale ottimale, vicino a negozi, ristoranti e alla spiaggia della purità. Consiglio vivamente la struttura e, se avrò la possibilità di tornare a Gallipoli, sicuramente ci tornerò.

• Alina Ursica (10/5): Beautiful historic hotel with great hospitality and spacious rooms. - The hotel is very beautiful, unique, and interesting – it truly looks like a small palace. The rooms are large and spacious. The host was extremely kind and very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. Besides having water and coffee in the room upon arrival, the reception offered a clever system where guests could easily purchase water, wine, and snacks, with quick payment through a QR code. The breakfast was quite generous for Italy :) The only downside is that, being right in the historic center, the sound of the bells was disturbing as they started ringing at 6 AM and continued every hour. In terms of cleanliness, I would give it a 9 out of 10 – there were spots that deserved more attention.

• Mathilda (10/5): - The apartment was beautiful and so was the shared spaces, such attention to detail. Great location in Gallipoli (but you can’t drive up to the apartment, but need to park 8min away).
• Veronika (10/5): - We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it – the place truly lives up to its name Luxury Apartments. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated: spacious rooms, beautiful artistic touches, and thoughtful amenities like branded towels, high-quality toiletries, a coffee machine, and welcome water. The apartment is located right in the historic center of Galipoli, just a short walk from the beach, yet it’s peaceful and quiet – a rare combination. Parking is easy, too – you can leave your car at the public parking area nearby for €10.50 per day (valid from 3 PM until 1 AM), in walking distance from the apartment. Breakfast was with a great selection, and you could really see the owners’ artistic flair in every detail. The beds were incredibly comfortable, everything was spotless, and the whole space felt peaceful and well-designed. The host was exceptional – responsive, kind, and always helpful. We loved Galipoli, and if we return, there’s no question we’ll stay here again. Highly recommend!

• Dick (9/5): Geweldig appartement op geweldige locatie. - Warm welkom met uitgebreide informatie door eigenaar. Erg prettige uitleg over alles wat u wilt weten. Riant artistiek ingericht appartement, centraal in oude stad. Goed verzorgd ontbijtbuffet. Wij hadden heerlijk groot dakterras. Fantastisch! Als je met een (huur)auto bent is het steeds een crime om op de enige nabijgelegen parkeerplaats een plekje te vinden. Kan zomaar 20 a 30 minuutjes rondjes rijden op parkeerplaats opleveren. Zilvervisjes-plaag in badkamer/toilet is klein minpuntje. Eigenaar hierop geattendeerd en zou direct actie gaan ondernemen.

The appartment is in a perfect location in the old town, spacious, well equiped, authentic and has a very nice private terrace on the roof. I would've preferred the beds to be less firm, but it is a personal choice
• Fredrika Kraft (8/5): - Fantastic interior – artistic and beautiful. The apartments are spacious, with comfortable beds, fully equipped, and perfectly located in the heart of Gallipoli. The owner provided outstanding service and was always available. The terrace is amazing. Overall, a great stay – I would recommend it any day of the week! All thanks to the wonderful owner and staff. The only downside is that the bathrooms are directly connected to the bedrooms, offering limited privacy.
• Paola Rucci (9/5): La mia sensazione, entrando nello scenografico appartamento soppalcato e arredato con uno stile tra - Il soggiorno è andato molto bene per vari motivi, uno la posizione ottima del palazzo nel centro storico da cui si raggiunge la spiaggia e qualsiasi posto a Gallipoli in pochi minuti a piedi, secondo la squisita gentilezza di Scott, che gestisce la struttura con professionalità e grande simpatia e che ci ha supportato e agevolato dall’arrivo alla partenza. Non c'è niente che non mi è piaciuto, potendo mi sarei fermata molto di più!

Our suite came with two balconies over the street but silent when windows shut. The living room and bedroom were exceptionally comfortable and finished with magical touches such as shell door handles. Scott is on hand and is a treasure trove of information about Gallipoli. It . • Lawrence (10/5): FABULOUS Unique Apartment in a Perfect Location - STAY HERE!!! One of our favorite places to stay during our Puglia trip. The building is perfectly located in the Old Town. It is a beautifully renovated Palazzo with separate unique apartments. The care and creativity that has gone into the design and build is amazing. We stayed in the Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment. It is a uniquely gorgeous, comfortable, large apartment with a full kitchen. We enjoyed the 2 balconies fragrant with jasmine. The bedroom (loft style) and bathroom (with a large beautiful shower) are reached via a curved stairway. The bed was large and comfortable with great linens. The delicious buffet breakfast was in a semi enclosed (also beautifully decorated) patio upstairs. Scott and his team (Francesco and Edelin) are fantastic hosts. Scott was so helpful with pre-trip planning, including sharing tips on restaurants and parking. We parked at the Port and did not have any issues finding parking around mid-afternoon each day. It does get busy at certain times so timing is key. It is a short walk (5-10 minutes) to the hotel from the Port. We also really enjoyed talking to Francesco and Edelin. Francesco’s creativity is on full display at the Palazzo. We were so comfortable and loved our stay here. We loved everything. But please note that if you have mobility concerns, the Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment would be very difficult because of the stairs.

Helped us organize a taxi for our departure. A little bit musty smelling in the apt but to be expected at start of season. Floor of bathroom uncomfortable for walking in bare feet.
• Emil Tunev (10/5): - We have traveled quite a lot, but this was an exceptional experience. The apartments are located in an old pallazo, totally renovated. Its a work of art, which had taken more than 20 years for the designer Francesco to complete it. Perfect location in the center of the Old City. Breakfast was superb. Special thanks to the host Scott, who was extremely helpful in any possible way one can imagine. He even took us to the local hospital when I had some heart problems and waited hours and hours there, before driving us back. Strongly recommend!!!
