• esther (1/5): En este hotel me han robado y no me han dado una solucion. - Me han desaparecido un collar, un colgante y una pulsera de Tous de dentro del neceser de mi habitación. Cuando lo pongo en conocimiento del hotel me dicen que sólo ha entrado personal de limpieza. Lo curioso es que entre personal de limpieza cuando nos acababan de dar la habitación 2 horas antes y por supuesto me dicen que en la habitación no estaba...como si yo no lo hubiese buscado ya. Una manera de no afrontar un problema. Por qué se accede a mi habitación si no es para limpiarla?? Por qué acceden si nos la acaban de dar? por qué entran en la habitación si no tienen que dejar absolutamente nada? Saben que me lo han robado el personal que allí trabaja pero no hacen nada de nada.

• Laura (10/5): Génial et je reviendrais - L’hôtel est le meilleur que j’ai pu faire lors de mes voyages pour l’instant sachant que je suis très très très compliquée pour l’hygiène, la beauté de la chambre etc.. Et bien là tout était à mes attentes les produits gel douche etc. Étaient NUXE, le ménage était fait une fois le matin une deuxième fois en fin d’après midi si nous étions pas dans la chambre, les tais d’oreillés changés tous les jours etc. Vraiment bien ! Peut être le seul bémol serait le manque d’isolation, on entend les gens dans le couloir et donc j’imagine qu’ils nous entende un peu depuis la chambre

• 67travels (10/5): Perfect location Excellent Hotel - We stayed 3 nights here on our first visit to Madrid. The location is excellent for all sightseeing, the train is across the road with many restaurants and bars close. We used points for the hotel booked last minute, the room was spacious and the massage bath a welcome after long days walking. There is some noise, but you are in the middle of a vibrant city, and it didn't bother us. Staff were excellent and friendly. Recommend without hesitation.

Then we arrived at the new room: there was a soiled towel left behind in the bathroom ☹️ gross. Frankly, arriving from a long trip and asking for your best option, you expect a bit more. Not the case. We wrote to the manager, we got an email back, as we were about to leave. It’s a well situated hotel, nice enough, but didn’t sit well with us. They could do better with service. Staff should know these things. It’s a beautiful property and your staff seems disinterested.

• DianeER (8/5): lifetime titanium member reports - My husband is a titanium member so we stay at a lot of Marriotts! Location, location, location is the old real estate adage & this applies to this hotel. It’s in a perfect location for tourists. A 15–20-minute walk in either direction takes you to the Prado or the Palacio Real (Royal Palace). We loved this location & you will also. Its on a busy street with lots of shopping & restaurants. NOTE Uber cannot legally access the Gran Via so be sure & take a taxi! Pros: Excellent front desk staff & bottle of water upon check-in. We were upgraded to a suite with an inside courtyard view which we preferred since there was no noise. The suite was beautifully appointed. Living area with couches & tables & chairs & separate bedroom & bathroom. It overlooked an inner courtyard & that was what we wanted as it was very quiet. We stayed several nights. The hotel entrance was separated from the casino which we liked. Free glass of wine at the bar for titanium members. Lots of places to eat nearby & we liked Vinitus tapas bar close to the hotel that they recommended. Cons No lobby seating area & nowhere to sit beside restaurant, bar or your room as there is no lobby. The breakfast buffet was either 30 or 35 euros & very disappointing - not worth it but we got it for free as a titanium. The buffet was very small & they quickly ran out of croissants & never replaced them even though we were there before 8am one morning. Service was below Marriott standards. Buffet did not have a large selection of food. Below average breakfast buffet & service for a high-end hotel. Hotel does not have the WOW factor, like so many other European Marriott Hotels we have stayed at. See my review of the Barcelona Cotton House. Only a 4-star hotel because breakfast was not up to par & there was no lobby to sit in. Also, no glass of cava is offered upon check-in like the Cotton House in Barcelona. Conclusion - although we liked the location, I would try another Marriott on our next visit. If you like my review, I hope you'll click the 'helpful' button; those of us who write reviews live for those and it motivates us to do more.

On the Gran Via and all the major sites in walking distance. Would stay here again. Very comfortable. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t speak to it. Didn’t find the street noise a problem at all.

• joshuaeW1253PA (2/5): Never ever stay here - I’d never recommend anyone to ever stay at this hotel: Honeymoon disaster. If you don’t want to sleep for 4 days, this is home. Almost the entirety of the hotel is facing a sidestreet which host bar patrons screaming until 4 in the morning, when the leave they have a huge truck cleaning the streets with employees yelling to each other & cars waiting behind them honking because they cannot pass. It was brutal. Our junior suite was dirty with non-removable stains on carpet, shower floor, ect. When brought to staff’s attention, they were unhelpful/unwilling to accommodate a room change/refund.

Example, buffet Breakfast is 34 euros and the selection of food and beverages is the one you would find in a 3 star. The room is good but despite being in the 5th floor, gran via is very noisy at every hour of the day.

• Cassietrip (10/5): Perfect location, beautiful design, outstanding room and amenities - This hotel has it all - location, massive rooms with beautiful furnishings and amenities, massive, well-stocked bathrooms. Right on the Gran Via in the middle of everything - blocks from the Puerto del Sol and walking distance the museums, Plaza Mayor the Royal Palace. Staff are wonderfully friendly and professional. Our room was internal facing because we wanted quiet. The kind bed was massive with supportive and squishy pillows. We had a table and chairs. The bathtub and shower are separate from the toilet and sink room. Both were large with luxurious soaps, shampoos and lotions. The shower had several different settings - regular, rainfall and deluge. Nespresso machine, mini fridge, robes. Water bottles and chocolates were left daily. The breakfast buffet was stocked with delicious breads, meats, cheeses and fruits. You can order from a menu as well. One bonus at this hotel is an all-day restaurant. The casino is accessible from the hotel, but completely separate - you do not feel like you're staying at a casino. Excellent in every way and would definitely stay here again.

• Curiosity586292 (8/5): Gran Via hotel. - The hotel is located in La Granvia, which makes it a little bit hectic. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. We were located in the fourth floor on the back side of the hotel which made it comfortable since we didn’t have any noise from the street The reception staff was great as well as the service from the breakfast ladies. In overall, I would recommend the stay.
• sv336 (10/5): A Very Convenient Hotel in Madrid - When traveling in Europe, getting a decent service is more often an exception than a rule. CGV is all-around perfect for reasonably priced high-brand accommodation in a major European capital. A few expectations to be set: (1) taxi drivers would not know where the place is, give them the exact street address written or properly pronounced in Spanish; (2) the hotel is on a busy corner, and even with its relatively well sound insulated windows you're immersed into city activity at any time of day and night; (3) it's boutique, meaning the common places of the hotel itself are rather small; (4) the basic rooms with an undisclosed view are small and dark, pay a little extra if you want to get a room spacious enough and pleasant to be in. The breakfast is decent, although the food variety is limited and buffet trays get depleted fast. The staff is super efficient, friendly, and professional, with easy communication in English. The location is very convenient, and although it may feel like the big brand names like JW-M and 4S are situated on more upscale streets, they are just a couple of minutes walk away. The part of Gran Via near the hotel is busy, narrow, and crowded, but there are plenty of options to walk along side streets in the area to escape the bulk of the commotion, if one desires to. So, overall - an exceptional find!

I was upgraded to a room with a huge terrace which was a lovely addition. the Staff was extremely friendly all around. The location is super. right across the Gran Via train station minutes walk to the Plaza Mayor. I'm not a gambler but my Wife and I enjoyed watching the players in the in house Casino was a nice touch to our trip.

• Jmarsden379 (10/5): Great hotel! - Great hotel! Stayed here for 2 nights when in Madrid on business and loved the hotel! Central location on Gran Via but my room was very quiet. I was given a room upgrade based on my Marriott status to a beautiful room. Friendly, helpful stuff. I used the gym both mornings when I was there and it was fine. See you again soon!

• From_South (10/5): Now I can give 5 stars - After my stay at this hotel a year ago, I wrote a review reporting that the breakfast had much to improve due to the few options offered. And there was also the problem of poor service from the breakfast staff. For that, I gave them four stars. In his response a year ago, the front desk manager said they were working to improve the negative points of my review. I returned to the hotel last week and noticed that the administration effectively acted and the breakfast service was now excellent. There is a new buffet with a good variety of options, such as hot bread, Spanish cold cuts, cheese, a variety of fruits, juices and so on, in addition to the hot menu. But the most significant difference is in the service. The current staff is genuinely attentive, always paying attention to our needs and remembering our preferences from previous days. Caren, Choy, and Irene served us very well, and we thank them for their excellent service during our five days stay. As for the other aspects of the hotel, what we reviewed last year, like the comfortable rooms, location, and warm welcome to Bonvoy Elite Members, remains the same.
• edhnyctraveler (10/5): Terrific stay for New Year's in Madrid - We stayed at the Gran Círculo for 3 nights over the holidays. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all for Christmas and New Year's. But it's a great location in general, especially if you're interested in being in Chueca. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which is quite large and modern. We really loved the styling throughout the hotel. The whirlpool tub and giant shower is a nice luxurious touch to the room, as is the big walk in closet. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the nice touches of welcome drinks and cookies as elite Bonvoy members. They also provided guests with grapes and champagne in their rooms for the traditional Spanish New Year's ritual. This was very generous, and it was fun that they made the effort to explain just how to eat the grapes in order to guarantee a happy New Year! We loved our stay there so much, we're already booked to come back this summer.

• H3174XXsaran (10/5): Attentive and professional staff - I just spent five nights here and must say the staff were some of the most attentive professionals I have dealt with in a hospitality setting. Like others have mentioned, the location is central and easily walkable neighborhood . The rooms were well appointed as well. Great experience all around!!!

• Tara (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Circulo Gran Via -- the hotel is impeccably maintained, quiet, and is in an incredibly central location. We walked everywhere and only needed a taxi to get to and from the airport / train station with luggage. The staff was attentive and helpful. Only feedback about would be that the desk staff didn't follow up after requesting a restaurant reservation, and didn't provide more "local" recommendations for dinner when asked (sent us to a spot that was very touristy so we ended up finding another place on our own).

• jasno (10/5): Would definitely stay again - Location is absolutely perfect for getting near everything. Staff is among the most helpful I’ve ever experienced (I travel a ton). Rooms were comfy and super clean. Casino is connected and bypasses checkpoint entry. Bars and restaurants of all sorts are steps away.
• RickRem1 (8/5): Decent hotel in a good location - We spent 4 nights here in mid-November. The location is great for exploring Madrid. The staff was very friendly, particularly the bell and front desk teams. The rooms are decent size by European standards and have all the amenities you’d expect from a higher end Marriott property. A couple of notes…..the hotel is located on a major road and our room was very noisy. It’s also connected to a casino and therefore there are common areas where cigarette smoke is noticeable. The bathroom has a musty smell. I am a lifetime titanium elite Bonvoy member and did not receive a room upgrade. This is a nice hotel but we would choose a different property on a return trip to Madrid.
• ATLTraveler1212 (10/5): Unique Hotel with Terrific Staff and Location - We greatly enjoyed our 6 night stay at this centrally and conveniently located Autograph hotel. We appreciated the recognition of ambassador status with an upgrade to a junior suite for our award redemption stay. Originally, had booked the Westin Palace hotel but switched, and we were glad we did so. A very Stylish, modern and spotless hotel with excellent and friendly service throughput. A special shoutout to Karen who provided top notch service at breakfast every day! By the way, while the breakfast buffet isn’t the biggest you will find, it was very good and combined with menu items was more than sufficient over 5 breakfasts….loved the chocolate pancakes! As some reviews have noted, there can be some street noise on the weekends, but the great location and hotel highlights more than make up for it. Highly recommend staying here!
