• Sarah (10/5): A dreamy, safe, and welcoming stay with stunning views and amazing hosts - It was absolutely dreamy - everything from the views to the location, waking up to stunning views outside my window was worth every penny! The bed was also extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby. Everything was perfectly clean and it was in an amazing location, very easy to visit all the other towns like Bellagio and Varenna! David and his mom were amazing hosts, I truly felt right at home and could’ve easily stayed longer. As a solo traveler, I felt super safe - David and his mom were extremely accommodating! They always helped to make sure I knew how to get from point A to point B and back. He was super communicative and very helpful with everything I had questions about. It is not in a super walkable location, so expect that you will need to book rides to get to other locations, but it was a non-issue as David made it very easy to navigate.

• Julian (10/5): Ein Aufenthalt ist sehr zu empfehlen! Netter, sehr bemühter Gastgeber, eine wunderschöne Gegend und ein faires Preis-Lei - Ich hatte eine sehr schöne große Wohnung mit traumhaftem Blick auf dem Comer See und die umliegenden Berge! Der Gastgeber ist kommunikativ, supernett, interessiert und hilfsbereit bei Fragen, auch bzgl. Tipps zu möglichen Aktivitäten am Comer See und Umgebung, etc. Beim Frühstück wird sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Es gibt alles was man braucht und man geht gut gestärkt in den Tag. Eine Ausstattung (Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, sonstige Küchenutensilien etc.) im Apartment ist vorhanden, diese habe ich allerdings nicht wirklich genutzt. Wenn man vor Ort nicht viel (insbesondere abends) mit dem Auto unterwegs sein möchte, ist man auf einen nicht immer zuverlässigen ÖPNV (Buslinie C112) angewiesen. Das ist teilweise äußerst frustrierend und der letzte Bus aus Menaggio fährt bereits um kurz vor 20 Uhr. Das kann bei Abendaktivitäten (bspw. Essen gehen unten am See) zeitlich knapp werden. Wenn man das abendliche Treiben am See miterleben möchte, muss man zwangsweise das Auto nutzen, eins der wenigen Taxis nehmen (über die Verfügbarkeit kann ich nichts sagen) oder den Berg ca. 35-45 hinauflaufen (bei Dunkelheit nicht optimal, da nicht alles ausgeleuchtet ist.)

The breakfast was excellent too. Having some tissues in the room would be good. We could also hear the movement in the room upstairs at times.

Het ontbijt was gevarieerd en royaal maar ook wisselend afhankelijk van wie het ontbijt smorgens verzorgde. Het zeefje van de kraan op de badkamer zou even ontkalkt moeten worden.
• ASSUNTA (9/5): Jardin fleuri et vue sur le beau lac de Côme - Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'emplacement calme sur les hauteurs de Menaggio avec une vue superbe sur le lac. Le jardin est très beau. Nous avons aussi adoré la décoration "vintage" de notre chambre. Tout, dans cette belle maison respire l'authenticité. Nous avons utilisé notre voiture pour nous rendre au bord du lac et visiter les sites. David nous a donné des tas de conseils pratiques tant pour nos visites que pour des restaurants de qualité. Très bon petit déjeuner proposant salé et sucré, un bon point pour la pâtisserie "maison" différente chaque jour. Tout nous a plu et nous reviendrions volontier.

• Joana (9/5): - Gostamos muito de ficar hospedados bo B&B Balcone Fiorito. A casa está muito bem cuidada, tem um jardim bonito e tem uma vista para o lago explendida. Fomos muito bem recebidos. David e a sua mãe foram muito gentis e deram-nos sugestões de sitios para visitar no lago de Como. O pequeno almoço estava muito bom.
• Femke (8/5): Top verblijf - Hele vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren. Zij gaven ons ook goede tips over de omgeving. Ook was het ontbijt iedere dag goed en kregen we dagelijks iets anders wat zelf gebakken was door de eigenaar. Perfect verblijf voor een aantal dagen het como meer te verkennen. Hele mooie locatie alleen is het op een berg waardoor je naar het stadje eerder de auto pakt en het niet te doen is te voet.

Heerlijk ontbijt, 1 dag buiten in de tuin en andere dag binnen i.v.m. bewolking. Mogelijkheid tot fiets opladen in de garage was top! Auto parkeren in Menaggio is lastig ( maar fijn dat er bij de B&B ruimte voor was).

Propriétaire très sympathique et attentif aux hôtes. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Un petit frigo top serait bienvenu quand il fait très chaud, pour tenir au frais quelques boissons. Le propriétaire nous a gentiment fourni quelques bouteilles d'eau fraîche car il faisait très chaud. Une climatisation serait un plus au niveau confort.

Privāta autostāvvieta pie naktsmītnes. Ir ledusskapis un neliela virtuvīte. Labas brokastis. Īpašnieka mamma katru rītu gatavo dažādus pīrādziņus. Paēst var labi lai arī nav tik liela izvēle kā viesnīcās. Viesnīcas īpašnieks ļoti pretimnākošs - stāsta, kur un ko varam apskatīt pa dienu, iesaka ērtākos veidus nokļūšanai. Bija karsti un numuriņos nebija kondicioniera. Rezervējot es tam pat uzmanību nepievērsu, domāju ka Itālijā visur tie ir.

• Christine (9/5): A very warm and welcoming place! :) - We had a lovely stay at the B&B Balcone Fiorito. The garden was beautiful, with many flowers and good view. The breakfasts were amazing, with homemade pastries. We felt very welcomed, and the host helped us a lot by finding places and recommending us things to do. We also managed to get around with no car, as it was possible to walk to Menaggio by foot in 25+ min (using the bike track), and easy to buy buss-tickets back up. Our room was also really nice, with a good view. We enjoyed the company from Pongo (the dog) and Max (the cat)! The sink had pressure issues, and the water tasted a bit strange. Even though the overall stay was great, it was a pit pricey for us. Also- not the place you go, if you're looking for a lot of privacy.

• Paval (9/5): Foarte frumos - Priveliște,apartament spațios,proprietari foarte drăguți și implicați. Destul de greu de ajuns fără mașină și nu neapărat mersul pe jos cât lipsa unui trotuar, practic mergi pe marginea drumului pe anumite porțiuni.

A háziak nagyon kedvesek voltak, a bőséges reggelit a kertben fogyasztottuk el, csodás környezetben, ragyogó napsütésben. Az apartman erkélyéről csodaszép panorámában gyönyörködtünk. Bátran ajánlom másoknak is ezt a szálláshelyet.

• Stephan (9/5): Tolle Lage mit romantischen Ausblick - Die Unterkunft befindet sich außerhalb des lebhaften Menaggio-Zentrum in ruhiger Hanglage. Von unserem Zimmer hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Ort und dem See. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Restaurantepfehlungen mit lokalen Gerichten waren ein toller Geheimtipp. Das gute Frühstück wird bei schönem Wetter auf der Terasse serviert, von wo man einen schönen Panoramablick hat. Bongo der lebhafte Haushund hat uns jeden Tag mit Freude begrüßt. Auch wenn es tagsüber durch die städtische Geräuschkulisse nicht gerade still war, so war zur Nachtruhe nichts mehr davon zu hören.

David est une personne très conviviale, attentif à ses voyageurs.

• Françoise (8/5): Très bon B&B, dans un décor magnifique. - Le B&B est très agréable, et Eleonore est une hôtesse très attentive et à l'écoute de ses clients. Petit déjeuner copieux, avec un large choix au menu. Magnifique vue sur le lac depuis la terrasse sur laquelle donnait notre grande chambre. Le seul restaurant à proximité immédiate se trouve au bout d'une étroite route en lacets dans la forêt, et nous y sommes allés pour rien car il était fermé. Seule autre solution : redescendre (là aussi par une route en lacets) à Menaggio où se trouvent plusieurs restaurants.
• ROBIN (7/5): Belle vue sur les hauteurs - Belle vue sur le lac. Les propriétaires sont agréables et de bon conseils. Logement très propre. Logement vieillot. Manque porte manteau dans la salle d'eau. Bon petit déjeuner mais ce serait plus simple si les yaourts, fruits et autres étaient à disposition.
