• Eileen (10/5): Comfortable with a homely vibe. - This is a quaint family-run business and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with booking of driver, tickets to attractions, and were very accomodating. It felt like staying at a friend's home. Many thanks to Demi and family who runs the place! • Ching (9/5): Great stay, very helpful staff 🥰 - Nice old building. Hot water , heater works well, bed comfortable. Room has a nice balcony looking at the field. Walkable distance to one of the pier of bamboo rafting. Local noodle for breakfast, or add money for the western breakfast. Just little thing like Bathroom door can’t close properly. I read and saw photos about free dumpling class and maybe event for Xmas, however they said business is not busy after Covid, so no event for Xmas was organized.
• Sue (10/5): Exceptional - Located in a quiet place of town. Convenient location to the biking activities near the Yulong River. Bikes were free to use and the host was very helpful with booking of all Yangshuo activities. Room was nice and big, although with no elevators. Cleanliness could be improved but it wasn't a huge issue (just some dust on the wall). Nothing.

Great place to take a bicycle and visit nearby fields, villages and experience beautiful of yangshuo! Personnel is super friendly and helpful. Easy to communicate in English :) if you want to get some recommendations just ask and they organize and explain you everything! It was fantastic time! Everything was fine
• Isabela (10/5): Perfect Stay - Absolutely amazing stay, I'm so grateful for Demi and her family who made sure my stay was comfortable and supported with anything I needed. Demi was very helpful recommending places to see and helping me book the necessary tour tickets. I had breakfast and a few dinners with them and the food was absolutely delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect, slightly outside the town and a short walk from the river, so ideal for a more relaxing stay. The view from the balcony was stunning, and I particularly enjoyed watching the sunset from there. I recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Yangshuo and I hope I can come back there one day 🥰
• Thomas (10/5): - Beautifully appointed rooms with high windows, A/C, comfortable beds, and a fantastic English speaking host, Demi. We loved the “Western Breakfast” b/c after 2 weeks of continuous Chinese food we were really craving a break. Eggs, waffle, juice, coffee really hit the spot. I can also vouch for the Muesli over yogurt. The pizza is “different” but I still enjoyed. There is an enterprising coffee shop up the road serving espresso drinks with dogs and country western music. Take the hike to Moon hill.
• Barone (10/5): Perfect, we want to go back. - This was the perfect place to adventure around the Karst Peaks and Yangshuo. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but we could have just enjoyed our room the whole time if we wanted - so relaxing and will situated, incredible view, and wonderful staff. The dumbwaiter is an especially charming touch!
• Xi (9/5): Superb - The staff were very warm and welcoming, they helped us book a taxi on a national holiday when we couldn't find one at all ourselves. The location is perfect, beautiful views, a little outside yangshuo but very close to li river and countryside for biking /hiking. The room was beautifully decorated but the amenities were not very good. Our main shower head was broken and only the small sprayer was working. When we raised this, we were told to just use the small one - really not ideal. Additionally, the room comes with a bath tub but they didn't have anything bathing products (bubble bath etc) which dampened the experience.

• Le-khua (10/5): Beautiful place - Fantastic location and Xiao Bai was super helpful with arranging the transport for our group, giving tips etc. Yulong river is just around the corner - you can use bikes from the hotel for free, we had a very pleasant bike ride along the river, and a walk on another day. There are few cafes, snacks places around the hotel and along the river. You can also have a ride on bamboo raft! Yangshuo town just a short taxi ride
• Morrison (8/5): Really great stay. We enjoyed our time there. - The room was lovely, but freezing cold. It would have been great if they’d turned on the heater before we’d arrived. Breakfast was great, refreshing to have food made to order rather than a buffet. Above all, the staff were superb. Very helpful and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. They had a fire going in the reception that they let us sit at while we waited for breakfast. The room was freezing! Thankfully, there were heaters and electric blankets on the beds. Couldn’t get hot water in the shower, but we didn’t ask for help either! It was a 20 minute ride to the town centre, so take that into account when booking

Demi helped us A LOT and to be honest if it wasn’t for her our stay would’ve been different. She helped us in so many things!! She made our stay more enjoyable and more relaxing. • Bronwyn (7/5): Incredible mountains and kind host! - Demi, the host! She was wonderful and attended to all our needs. Her English is great so that really helped us a lot. The family room is spacious and has a wonderful view. The linens are particularly lovely. Lack of sound proofing, it’s an old building so there are often noises from people moving around in other rooms. The building and rooms could do with updating and the shower in the family room wasn’t great.
• Marta (10/5): Exceptional - I loved every bit of my stay. The hotel is situated a short ride from the hustle and bustle of Yangshuo, 20 minutes walking from a lovely promenade by Yulong River. You can admire Karst landscape from your room or rooftop terrace. My room was quiet, clean, and spacious. The beds were comfortable. But these are the owners who make the difference. I felt like their guests - they cooked for me, organized attractions, and advised me on what to see and what to eat. I really feel like I got to know Yangshuo pretty well during my stay, and I used every opportunity to understand it better.

They served me a fresh fruit juice while waiting for check-in process and gave me a souvenir when checking out. They use Chinese and English. You can see Guilin Karst mountains from windows all day. Amenities perfect. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature but not too far from city and sightseeing spots. perfect

• Charles (10/5): Excellent stay - Beautiful property with lots of details with cultural reference, magnificent view of the mountains from our room (5th floor family room) and from balcony. Super friendly and helpful staff who helped book show tickets and places to visit. Definitely rent a scooter which make the trip even more authentic, and also Yangshuo is pretty congested and impossible to get a taxi or you stay in traffic in peak touristic season.

You are getting way more than your moneys worth as I mentioned the people there are awesome

Best of all was the amazing attentiveness by manager Demi, who took care of everything for me about visiting local attractions and setting up my private tours..the only way to go. The bed was really comfy and the restaurant had excellent food of western and Chinese cuisine I had 4 flights of stairs to walk up as the small elevator was only for the luggage

• Ricardo (10/5): Our stay in Yangshuo - It was a great place to stay for couple of nights, specially for a family of 5. The view is beautiful and is close to several beautiful spots (by renting a scooter). The food they serve in their restaurant is fantastic. The kids loved it.
• Cheng (10/5): An oasis in the midst of a gorgeous place - Mountain Nest Was an excellent experience! It is located in the protected area of Yangshuo in a traditional village which means that your vehicle can only take you to the gate during the day and you will transfer onto an electric vehicle operated by the national park. Once inside the park, you can ride bikes or rent electric scooters to explore the area and beyond. Check in was smooth with fresh squeezed orange juice and all the staff are like family, going out of their way to anticipate your needs. They prepared an incredible cake for a birthday, collected our wallet that was left in another city, and are truly helpful. I would say that their transfer and tour costs are on the high side. The property is beautiful with amazing views, great garden, rooftop and gorgeous antique decoration. They helped upgrade us to a king size bed room as we had an issue with our shower door. They are worth the splurge as they are much better decorated and more comfortable than the standard rooms, even with a tub in the living area. If you prefer the hustle and bustle of a large city, West Street and Yangshuo is likely a more suitable option.
• Blanca (10/5): A nice place in Yangshuo - Although the place is a ways from downtown, and therefore you need a taxi to get there, the views of the hills are arresting! The staff is fantastic, they all speak very good English, and they are extremely helpful in booking activities and transportation for you. Moreover, the hotel has a restaurant with pretty good food. The only thing that could improve is the cleanliness of the bathroom. Overall, a very nice place, I totally recommend it.

Erica the English speaking manager went above and beyond with being very accommodating, generous with her time and extremely helpful in arranging trips for us. Rest of the staff Maria, Tina and Debi were also fantastic.The hotel was managed very efficiently, food was good, wifi worked well and everything was in good order. By the end if our stay we felt like we were leaving a family home. Definitely recommend this fine establishment

• H (10/5): Lovely, ideal location - I stayed with a friend in a family room on the 5th fl. It had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. It was large enough for a couple with two children. I was very glad we chose to stay at this hotel away from the crowded downtown area. The location was exactly what we wanted. The hotel recommended a English speaking driver for our stay, and all the entrance tickets to various sites. So, we did not need a guide. Staying the entire trip in Yangshuo was so much better than in a crowded city, Guilin. Waking upevery morning with the fantastic view was quite heavenly.
