Guest Reviews
- MAKOTO (8/5): -
- KEAN BOON (9/5): - Good breakfast and the location.
- Asia G (10/5): - Świetna lokalizacja, pomocny personel, właściciel załatwi wszystko czego potrzebujesz.
- Heidi (9/5): - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber
Sauber, schöner Garten gute Lage
- Buddha (10/5): - Everything is okay perfect hotel Nothing
- Rita (8/5): A pleasant stay, I came back! - I liked the many plants everywhere and Mr Hom does everything to make your stay pleasant.
The room is nice and clean, the bedside lights make it cosy and the bed is comfortable.
I appreciated the cupboard to hang clothes, not many hotels provide this.
The mosquito screens allow you to sleep with open windows.
From the rooftop there's a nice view on the mountains.
I liked Yeti Hotel and went back after a trip to Dhampus. The coffee at breakfast (more milk than coffee) but the next day I got a real black coffee.
- Ramona (10/5): - Owner was very helpful. The rooms were clean.
- Buddha (10/5): - Nice beautiful place clean hotel , beautiful garden Nothing
- Islam (10/5): - Good owner, good Stuff, Green campus, mountain view from room and window. Nothing
- Islam (10/5): - Very Nice Mountain view, Green Campus, Nice owner,
Good stuff.
- Michaela (9/5): - The garden is beautiful, we had amazing night, the room and bed were comfortable and there was hot shower and delicious breakfast.
It was a great place and I would recommend it. The only thing we were disappointed is when the owner asked us to rate the hotel only with the best rating, if we had different option, than he said not to review it at all and he said it 3 times so it became quite overwhelming. But I feel this is unfair to ask, because you don't get the true idea of the place.
- Anonymous (10/5): Hospitable, Peaceful, Comfortable - Yes to Yeti! Beautiful resting place in the heart of the city. Very peaceful rooms, beautiful plants, hospitable and genuine hosts and employees. Home & Kabita truly make hotel Y a home away from home. Close to Lake & shopping, yet has a nestled-away vibe. Highly recommended for lodging needs.
- Hilary (10/5): Exceptional - Hom is one of the best hosts we have ever had. He was very helpful in everything we wanted. Cannot recommend this stay highly enough Everything was perfect!
- Leo (10/5): Next time again! - It was a wonderful stay in Yeti Hotel. The owner was very helpful towards which trek to choose in Pokhara and the staff was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. High recommendation!
- Harold (10/5): Book this hotel - I would highly recommend this hotel. As there is literally nothing I could say wrong about Hotel yeti. The rooms are clean, hot showers and the staff are so warm and friendly. It is that good I have stayed an extra night. (Highly recommend)
- Fedor (10/5): It was very beautiful and memorable stay, we will be back! - Beautiful scenery and wonderful staff
- Abhijeet (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the property, it feels like a garden cafe with lots of books to read, located on a street that's not too crowded with tourists. The rooms are comfy and the breakfast is good.
- Owen (9/5): Very comfortable, Hom is very helpful and always looking out for his clients - Location
- Brent (10/5): Very comfortable stay.In the heart of the tourist area of Pokhara. Two minute walk to the lake - Vey comfortable hotel set in tropical gardens.Located in the heart of the tourist area a short stroll to the lakeside.Big basic, but nice breakfast.Hom,the owner was very helpful. And always checking on our needs. He also booked and arranged for guides and transport for our trekking, thankyou Nothing
- Turup (1/5): bad experience - Breakfast is not bad I had a bad experience at Hotel Yeti in Pokhara. The room was smelly, and the bed sheets and towels were dirty. They didn't provide a toothbrush, and the bathroom was very dirty with a broken toilet spray. The owner even asked me not to review the hotel, which felt dishonest. I don't recommend staying here.
- Cezanne (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money! Awesome location and host is very friendly. The free breakfast we got was awesome, so much food. Would recommend :)
- Geoffrey (10/5): Great value for money hotel situation in a beautiful garden, managed by very friendly staff. - Value for money. Staff are friendly. Location close to lakeside.
- Tashi (10/5): I had a wonderful short stay in hotel yeti .it was pleasure meeting Mr hom bahadur and assisting me with air tickets .ve - Very friendly staff ..plants are beautiful..breakfast superb 🥰🥰 Everything is well managed .
- Jaroslaw (10/5): the stay was perfect. - the lokation-close to the lake, rastaurants, shops, frindly and helpfully staff, the view from the window to the himalayan, the hotel is arouded by the beatiful garden. everything was great.
- Rochelle (10/5): Exceptional - We really liked the breakfast and the room was very comfortable and clean. The grounds are very beautiful. Staff are always happy to help and they even Gave us a takeaway breakfast for our bus trip leaving very early in the morning which was a very nice touch!. We would definitely come back and recommenvd to anyone to stay if visiting this area not having a water gun in the toilet for when toilet paper runs out 🥺🫣
- Akshay (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good There was nothing to dislike
- Tânia (10/5): The perfect place to stay in Pokhara - Exceptional local hotel in Pokhara!
This was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept at in Nepal (and this is my 7th visit to this country).
Hom, the owner, goes beyond all expectations in making sure the hotel has everything we could ask for and guests are comfortable and happy, every little detail is carefully thought of.
Hom has helped us with transportation and activities, provided breakfast even earlier than the normal time and was extremely kind when I had an issue with my booking.
We will definitely stay at Hotel Yeti again when we come back to Pokhara after our Annapurna trekking and on future visits to Nepal.
100% recommended!!!!
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful antourage, garden and flowers, quiet room, great location close to the Main Road, Lake and tourist area. The Manager is super helpful - with luggage store, whith taxi arangement; even let us i to the room earlier as we were exhausted after long night travel. The breakfast is rich and tasty.
- Donn (10/5): Remember your relaxed stay in Pokhara 😍 - A combination of things, very friendly staf, and manager mr. Hom ; good location, at a more quiet street and at some short distance of the vibrant area with very good restaurants; nice view and near great trails to eg. Pagora; spacious room; firm matras, good blanket; very nice garden, balcony, and a very fulfilling breakfast.
- Ray (6/5): Basic - The boss and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good. Big breakfast. Place is in need of some investment and TLC. The list of facilities and pictures on booking website are very misleading.
- Jack (8/5): Very good - Location. Spacious room. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Good breakfast. Nice and green Bathroom was a little average. Electrical could need some work. TV but didn't work.
- Josh (10/5): Good stay in pokhara - Excellent service very helpful
Great breakfast
Well located Rooms are basic so don't expect luxury
- Rachel (8/5): HOTEL Epic Jungle 😎 - Aum was a great manager! His staff is always smiling and very pleasant to speak with. The beds were comfy, and I had a lovely view of the Himalayas right from my window! The breakfast was awesome, yummy coffee, and I was happy to finally have a nice fried egg 🍳 The grounds and garden area were stunning! I loved practicing my yoga on the rooftop over looking the Himalayas. They had hot water, which was a plus! Didn't have hot water for nearly a month at my YTT, so it was great to finally rinse off 😊 The bathroom was a little dirty, the floors weren't swept or mopped, and there was lots of dust, so it was bothering my allergies - but I usually expect these things in Nepal.
- Chapa (10/5): Peaceful relaxing clean place to be. - Lovely clean rooms, hot hot showers, and super mountain view and quiet peaceful garden. Location is very convenient to good restaurants and shopping. So close by to the lake. Great place to relax and stay. Nothing to say here, all was really exceptional.
- Rory (8/5): Very good - The staff were great and really went the extra mile to help, the location is excellent the view from the room was lovely and there was a hot shower too.
- Melis (10/5): Exceptional - The space was very well thought out, with beautiful green terrace, comfortable rooms and great location. The manager and his family were also very helpful, assisting us with umbrella, delicious breakfast, tips on Pokhara and potential trek options.
- Stanislav (10/5): Exceptional - Central location, very friendly host, charming garden!
- Steven (10/5): I enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Pokhara - The location was great, just a short walk from the lake. The accommodation has beautiful gardens and very peaceful. Only minutes away from the accommodation there are great restaurants. The owners go out of their way to make sure your comfortable and can advise and assist your with your travel enquiries. The breakfast is big and delicious.
- Nick (9/5): Charming, quiet and good-value base in Pokhara - I've stayed here on both my trips to Pokhara. Perfect location, close to all the main attractions of Lakeside but set within its own quiet gardens. (The owner also owns the more upmarket hotel next door which has even more garden you can enjoy). It's not the most modern hotel but was originally built with some style. I like its smaller size which gives it a friendlier, more personal vibe. The owner is very helpful, has lots of interesting tales to tell about Pokhara, and it's easy to book buses and tours from the hotel office. One of best breakfasts I've had in Nepal!
- George (10/5): Fantastic hotel, free upgrade! - Very kind hotel manager who did everything he could to help us during our stay. He even upgraded our room which was lovely and spacious and gave us a takeaway breakfast before our onward journey. Thank you :)
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thu (10/5): Amazing. You will be surrounded by the green and peaceful feeling - The service and breakfast are the best. Nothing
- Louis (10/5): A nice, clean room in a good location with beautiful garden and views. Friendly and welcoming staff! very impressed - Great location, nice clean room and good host
- Marco (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is very nice and he’s open to help you.
the breakfast is just amazing and the room is clean and great hot shower.
the position perfect, close to the lake and restaurant.
- Johanna (10/5): Amazing hotel! - Very well situated, beautiful Mountain View, hot water in the bathroom, very good breakfast, beautiful garden and the owner is very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel! nothing to say
- Jaroslaw (10/5): Exceptional - the hotel is drowning in flowers, the lokalisation is very good.to the lake and restaurants ca 100 m.the staff is frindly.from the bed in your room you can see the himalaya view. after comming from the mountiensi i had a good hot shower.the menager
is helpfull. nothing
- Taha (2/5): Not as described -irresponsible owner - We could hang out the clothes in the terrace. The garden was nice. First, upon coming there was no mirror in the bathroom, the owner said in the next day that he could provide it upon request.
Same thing with the hot water, it wasn’t working and it works upon request!
Many light bulbs weren’t working, except of one in the room.
The ventilation wasn’t working as well.
Bathroom window is open to neighbors and reveals the inside of the bathroom (I had to cover it with Paper!)
The included breakfast is not as expected, rather a small cup of coffee and juice with some potatoes and an omelette. It was disappointing , and the owner said that anything else/more than that must be PAID extra.
It’s worth mentioning that regarding the location, there is no open access to the lake in the area.
Finally, my biggest problem with this hotel is their responsiveness. I forgot my MacBook charger in the room, and the owner didn’t contact me about it. In fact, even after asking him, he replied after many days, by then I already left Nepal and surely lost my original charger because of his carelessness!
- Robert (10/5): Beautiful hotel in Pokhara - We loved our stay in Hotel Yeti, it has comfortable rooms, hot showers and a really helpful manager. The hotel is beautiful, with lots of nice plants and flowers and a roof terrace to view the mountains - it is also conveniently located near the lakeside area with lots of cafes and restaurants.
They also do a delicious big breakfast that will keep you going all day.
We had a lovely time at Hotel Yeti and highly recommend it to anyone else visiting Pokhara.
- Syafiq (10/5): Cosy & peaceful hotel to stay near Pokhara Lakeside - We just come back from the hiking Annapurna Bace Cam. this probably one of the best place for you to stay. very nice decoration, rooms are cosy, hot shower available. Restaurants sorrounded the property. There are also several shops and laundry nearby. Breakfast was scrumptious. recommended for you to stay if you come Pokhara Everything good
- Saugun (10/5): LOOK NOWHERE IF YOU WANT FACILITIES LIKE GYMS AND RESTAURANTS E.T.C.THIS PLACE IS AT THE CENTRE - Well 😁 like home friendly staffs and really informative about surroundings and helpful. As I'm a fitness addict I wanted to workout regularly even when I travel and this place(YETI HOTEL) was in the centre of it(Bob's gym & vyamshala). And they serve breakfast aswell on request. No complaints so far none at all...
- Anonymous (10/5): overall affordable, convenient and peaceful - beautiful gardens surrounding the entire property, really close to a few hostels so can easily socialise while having a comfortable & affordable place to stay. Very kind and helpful staff also throughly enjoyed my stay
- Joshua (10/5): Definitely my favorite place and felt at home every day. - Breakfast is always perfect, and the staff are very friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable, with an amazing view. And the scenery and plants at the hotel are very pleasant to be around. I have no complaints
- Deniz (10/5): Exceptional - Nice hotel in great location to explore Pokhara lakeside. The hotel owner is very friendly and happy to help. He helped me out with an atv trek booking, organised a tour bus for me and also sorted my return flight. Saved me alot of trouble. The breakfast each morning was very nice and filling. So much so that I skipped lunch.
Hotel is close to all amenities like taxis, atm's, restaurants etc.
- Anna (10/5): Perfect place to enjoy Pokhara! - Location is perfect, 100m from lakefront, from roof u can see Annapurna and mountain range clearly! there is also a park on lakeside where u can go jog or walk or just sit and enjoy the stunning view. The street is quiet so u will have very restful sleep (mattress is perfect). The hotel is immersed in greenery, beautiful plants all around the rooms and reception area, it really is amazingly beautiful! the room is sunny and clean, towel, soap, toilet paper and water bottle provided on arrival. I will surely come back here after the hikes in hotel YETI🙏
- Christophe (1/5): no hot water, too much humidity, bad smell - breakfast i stayed there 2 nights this week,
most of the time there was no hot water, you have to ask te owner to put it on and wait one hour before taking shower.
The bedroom smell humidity a lot and we can see the water on the wall. My towel also smelled bad.
- Luis (10/5): Great stay at Yeti Hotel in Pokhara - Excellent location The owners are very friendly and attentive to any request. Very good breakfast, room and services. I would definitely go back to Pokhara and Yeti Hotel
- Francesca (10/5): A family stay - The hotel is in a very peaceful location and yet really close to the lakeside. The room has everything you may need here, including a view of the mighty Annapurna. The manager and his wife have been incredibly nice to me as I arrived to Pokhara feeling sick. They made me feel like I were family, which I’ll never forget :)
