- Gilles (9/5): - Légèrement excentré à quelques minutes de la vieille ville dans un petit village piéton de potier du coup très calme le patio ombragé une décoration de qualité très apaisante la rue sans passage d'automobile à peine quelques motos de temps en temps dans la chambre de vrais dras en coton un drap du dessus prêt de vélo gratuit en bon état attention au frein tout de même à tester avant de partir le grand marché au bout de la rue principale attention seulement deux petits épiciers trois endroits de locaux toujours dans la rue principale pour se restaurer l'ensemble de la population très accueillante votre hôtesse parle anglais parfaitement bien qu'un peu rapidement avec un super accent vietnamien Que la grande baie vitrée de la chambre du rez-de-chaussée ne donne que sur un mur décoré un couloir servant de coin toilette du matin la lumière pénètre par le haut aucune visibilité pas de soleil en direct mieux d'être à l'étage avec fenêtres et un horizon visible
- Sara (10/5): - Ly is an amazing host, so kind and helpful. The location is very quiet and a bit remote from the busy and touristic historical center (easy to ride from here to there). The homestay is located in the Terra Cotta village, where you can do a pottery workshop at a very affordable price.
- Alemar (10/5): - The hostess Ly is the nicest, she helped me with tours and buses, even one day I had to leave before breakfast started and she prepared earlier for me. Nice breakfast (eggs, coffee, fruit and bread or banana pancake) good Wifi, free bicycle, and clean rooms with AC. A bit far from the city centre, but with the bikes it is like 5 minutes away.

- Bella (10/5): Amazing stay! - We LOVED our stay here. Ly is just the sweetest woman ever and was so kind and helpful. The facilities were great and everything was super clean. Breakfast was amazing, I miss the banana pancakes already. It’s also a restaurant and the food is amazing, we enjoyed all the meals we had there (especially the spring rolls). The location is a quite outside the main area but it is very peaceful in the pottery village.

The staff are friendly and fun and the breakfast a bonus. My room on the top floor was clean, tidy, spacious and had a nice breezy window and natural light which I like. The outdoor area is shady and a good place to chat to other travellers.

- Naomi (9/5): Wonderful - It’s in a gorgeous village outside of the caos of the city, the hosting family are lovely people and Ly helped me beforehand with arrival, booking me a taxi late at night and letting me have breakfast a bit later in the morning. She gave me many recommendations. I could do my laundry there super easily. I didn’t get the room I booked in the pictures, when I arrived they gave me the family room with 3 beds although I am one person, but it was fine for me, just not what I booked.

- Samuel (10/5): We received the best treat and had the best stay in a place ever, genuinely. - As we just arrived, the host, Thu, was there for receiving us with a warm welcome explaning us all what we could do in the little village we were. At the beginning we thought we might be a little far from the city, but then ended up being just the perfect location - outside of all the noise of the city, but close to just grab a bike (FREE to use as Thu let you use them without charging you) and pop in the city just by 10mins. The breakfast - banana pancakes and coffee - were SO yummy. Thu literally improves the experience by helping you all the time, giving tips of how taking the most of your stay in the city, and not only the main things, but more local experiences and villages to visit around, and makes you feel at a proper home. We had to extend our stay one more night as we were really comfortable there, and ecen if we noticed in the last minute to Thu, she provide us our extension without a problem.

- Michèle (10/5): Super homestay dans un village de potiers à 5km d'Hoi an - Homestay choisi complètement par hasard avec pour but de ne pas être dans le centre bondé de Hoi an. L'endroit est super sympa, Ly est vraiment très gentille et accueillante (n'hésitez pas a lui demander des infos sur les petits coins chouettes à voir), les balades en vélo au milieu des rizières accessibles... les chambres spacieuses et pratiques, propres et bien équipées. Nous avons passé deux nuits là-bas et sommes très contents de notre séjour ! Le seul petit bémol serait peut-être l'état des vélos qui sont un peu fatigués et le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de vélo électrique. Mais c'est vraiment un détail. :)

Bon emplacement dans le village des potiers, et environ 30 minutes à pied du centre ville, cependant des vélos sont a disposition. Bon petit déjeuner. La propriétaire est très gentille et parle très bien anglais, gros point fort de ce logement. Nous avons trouvé le lit un peu dur, et l'eau chaude de la douche mets un peu de temps à arriver.

We extended our stay a couple times here. It’s maybe a 5 to 10 minute GRAB ride to the city, so it’s nice and quiet. They let you ride bikes for free. It’s a great place! Nothing

- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - the owner was very kind and gave us all the tips possible. from scooter rental to where to eat, how to get to other places and taught us about her culture too. free bikes to get into the city we arrived 2 hours earlier by night bus and to her homestay by grab.. waking up her 5 dogs, so of course her too in the process.. special thanks for beeing so relaxed regardless of the early wake up and lettings us into the room at 5 30 am to get some sleep :) a bit far away from the center but we liked it

- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - The location was amazing, in this small village that is very quiet most of the day. It is the perfect place to chill without suffering from the city's hustle and bustle but at the same time being very close to enjoy it whenever you want (7 minutes from Hoi An ancient town with bicycles lent by the homestay). The room was bright, beautifully decorated and very clean. The homestay itself is very nice and cosy. The breakfast is good. And most of all the owner and her family were amazing : kind, cheerful. We had great moments and recommendations from Ly who helped us planning our next steps of the trip. We really felt at home and would have loved to stay longer. It was the most amazing homestay of our 3 months and half trip, for a very reasonable price. Nothing. Really nothing.
- Eloise (10/5): Ancient terracotta village hideaway - The quiet town, the kind children, the animals and this town is an ancient pottery village. You can feel the history. And see it before your very own eyes. Terracotta is everywhere in sight. From shops filled with crockery and small creatures to incense holders.
- Wscot (8/5): Very good - It was really clean, it's a bit out of town but there are free bicycles to use and it was a nice 20 minutes cycle in to the center of town which I think made the location a good thing. No privacy curtains on the dorm beds which I wasn't sure about but it turned out not to be a problem, plus the bed was really comfortable, and it's individual beds not the normal bunk beds found in most dormatorys.

- Ariens (9/5): Superb - The homestay is 5-10 minutes by bike outside Hoi An. It has a really nice chilling area where you can have breakfast, read a book or chill with others. The breakfast is good as well. Best of all, the owner is super helpful if you need anything from recommendations to a bus ticket. You can always text her and she responds within 10 minutes. It really feels like you live with the family. Also bikes are free and there is a local market at the end of the street which is cool to see. In my opinion, it is much nicer to stay a little bit outside of Hoi An. Makes the experience more authentic. -

The distance from the city centre made it a lovely retreat from the chaos & it was a short distance on a scooter or bicycle. I would visit Hoi An again just to stay at Ly's homestay.

- Martha (10/5): Accommodating, warm, homely, lovely! - It was amazing! The room was comfortable, spacious, good A/C and quiet. Ly was really helpful and kind throughout the whole stay. She made me ginger tea when I got sick while in Hoi An, and provided us with loads of information about tours/activities, as well as booking transport for us and recommending local places. It couldn’t have been better for us. Such a great location - very quiet and free bicycles to get into town in ~10 mins. Loved our stay with Ly and her dogs! Nothing, it was perfect.

The host Ms Ly is very warm and friendly and helped us during our stay. It's a good place to take a break since we had spent 4 days in Hoi An already. You can always hire a motorbike or use the free bicycles. You can spend your time making pottery next door and painting. You can also visit the Pottery Museum next door.

She is a wonderful host, always willing to help out and speaks very good English which is very handy. There is a beautiful garden, great breakfast and you can order tasty local food for a local price. The dogs at her house are sweet and easy-going. Highly recommended! Hope to able to come back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice owner/staff. Helped with transfer from airport at a good price. Very clean and nice rooms. Very cheap. A abit of a distance from Hoi an but it was a very quiet stay on the other hand.
- Ethan (10/5): Great homestay! 100% recommend - Ly and her family are great! Friendly, thoughtful and tremendously accommodating. Their house is really nice, the patio area is beautiful, their little dogs are cute and super sweet. Hoi An is a great town and Ly's home is just far enough away to give you a quiet, peaceful retreat. The free bicycle rentals and breakfast are awesome, and they provide affordable motorbike rentals too. Facilities are all really nice, clean, and modern.
