• Stephen (10/5): A wonderful place in the heart of Dalyan - The location was perfect. It is right by the river which you can swim in. The hosts were exceptional, nothing was to much trouble. We were leaving for an early flight, so the hosts made up sandwiches for us because we were missing breakfast. Everywhere was clean. The room was quite small but very clean and the bed was comfortable. This accomodation is run by a family who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and try to cater for your every need. There was nothing negative I could say about this gem of a place.

• Özge (10/5): - Sıcak aile işletmesi olan Midas Pension’da 12-19 Temmuz 25 tarihlerinde konakladık. Çok çok memnun kaldık. Kahvaltısı gayet yeterliydi. Nereye gidilir sorularını direk işletmedeki Melih Bey ve Serkan Beye sorarsanız size en güzel yerleri, koyları ve yemek yerlerini söyleyebilirler. Oda temizliği 2 günde 1 yapılıyor ki bu gayet iyi bir durum. Odamızda minibar ve mükemmel çalışan klimamız vardı. Biz bahçedeki odalardan birinde kaldık. Oda boyutu gayet iyiydi. Dalyan nehrinin kıyısında olan bu işletmeden direk nehire atlayıp yüzebiliyorsunuz. Kral mezarlığına karşı, bazen su yüzeyinde görünen caretta cerattaları görebilirsiniz. Eğer tekne turu satın alırsanız yada iztuzu plajına gitmek istiyorsanız pansiyonun iskelesinden sizi tekneler alabiliyor/bırakabiliyor. İşletme sahibi Selçuk abi de çok cana yakın ve hoş sohbetti. Çift olarak gitmiştik, arkadaşlarımızla da gitmeyi isteyeceğimiz bir yer kazandık. Teşekkürler

• Nicole (10/5): - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei freundlichen Gastgebern in einer wunderbaren ruhigen Umgebung. Wir waren mit dem Auto da, Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Mit der kleinen Autofähre in ca. 600 m Entfernung kann man direkt auf die andere Seite des Flusses übersetzen für 125 TL. Zum Strand haben wir uns ein Taxiboot rufen lassen. Alles sehr bequem.

It’s situated right on the river with views of the tombs right from a seat on the dock. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the grounds are beautifully manicured. Very friendly staff and owners. It is close to town to walk for dinner. Great parking. Delicious breakfast. We stayed only 1 night but we wish we could’ve stayed longer in this peaceful setting. There is nothing we didn’t like!

• Thera83 (8/5): Beautiful Location, Basic Accommodation - Pension Midas has a lovely location—right in front of the impressive rock tombs, which makes for a unique and scenic view. The private dock is also a great feature, perfect for relaxing by the water. Unfortunately, the room itself was quite basic and could use some improvements. It was a bit too simple for the price, and there were no toiletries or essentials provided for the shower, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the charm of the setting helps make up for it.

The garden was beautifully kept and we sat there one afternoon and had tea and biscuits. Lovely breakfast each day, looking out over the river and mountains, with the tombs just across the river. Perfect setting to start the day off. Due to the rain and cold weather on the day we arrived, I got an evening shower in very cool water. Luckily for us, the sun came out the next day, and the shower was lovely after that.

• Douglas (8/5): River view... - Great river views and access to river transport. Well maintained premises and friendly owners. The ability to order food on the site was a plus. The room was very small which made it difficult to situate suitcases and the fridge did not cool drinks.
• Sheila (8/5): Great little hotel, perfectly placed. - We really enjoyed our 4 nights at Midas. The owners/staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was smallish but perfect for us. Wandering through the garden to have breakfast each morning at the riverside was something we looked forward to. What a view! We watched the boat trips who’d paid money to see the tombs which we looked at all the time! The breakfasts were great and we had lots of help with getting water taxis etc. We met people at Midas who had been coming for 17 years which says a lot. And we went because our daughter had stayed there 4 years ago and recommended it. It is an easy walk to the ferry to visit Kaunos and also easy to walk into town. We were pleased to be staying slightly out of the town. We hired a car for a day from Europcar through Kaunos tours. They were very helpful and it was very reasonable. We drove all the way around the lake and down to the turtle beach, stopping for pomegranate juice at the roadside. We thoroughly recommend Midas Pension.

Rover is beautiful and views of tombs are amazing. Saw two soft shelled turtles on first morning right by the pontoon which was magical. It would be helpful to have some literature there for when you arrive to tell you what’s available to do such as how to get to the ferry, how to order the jetty taxi and the times etc. also where to go and get the water taxos. We had to spend valuable time trying to find out information despite the efforts of one of the staff but I don’t speak Turkish and he didn’t speak very good English so it was hard to understand. Just a bit of information would have helped.

• Rysio (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely, small, family-run place with a beautiful garden and excellent breakfasts right on the river. Just reclining in a chair and watching the river flow by, with a view of the Lycian tombs across the river, is a wonderful way to pass time on a holiday.
• Gloria (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Midas Pension was a highlight of our trip. The view of the Kings Tombs is spectacular! We spent hours admiring the view whilst swimming and lazing on the deck and the family who run it are so warm and hospitable. They will call a water taxi whenever you like, although there are many great restaurants nearby. Highly recommended staying here whilst in Dalyan.

• Roxanne (10/5): Breathtaking accommodation, with great hosts and an incredible breakfast - This was the most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in. Our hosts were so kind to us and the self service breakfast was divine. We loved having breakfast whilst watching all of the boats. You have to try cakes in the morning, the variety of free teas and during the day have some fresh orange juice at the bar for 100TL Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of staying here, you will not be disappointed and you’ll have the best experience.

We found the staff friendly and enjoyed our breakfast. Location was perfect for a 5 -10min walk to the centre and our favourite Saki restaurant. Opposite this restaurant you will find a cheap rowboat for getting to the other side of the river where you can walk to the ancient Kaunos site. Nothing

• debra (10/5): Wonderful in every way! - Beautiful, serene environment with cabins nestled in beautiful gardens. This place is a gem. I could easily stay here for several weeks. The pool is sparkling clean, the food is delicious and the owner is a very polite and accomodating host.
