Leuke kolonie aapjes die voor animatie zorgen. We waren de enige gasten en het restaurant was niet open en er waren werkzaamheden bezig die wel storend waren als je in alle rust wou genieten van zwembad.

- Ricardo (10/5): A charming hostería nestled in the heart of nature and even spot monkeys right from your window. - I had a wonderful stay at this hostería, surrounded by stunning gardens and immersed in nature. The peaceful environment made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the lush greenery was a highlight. The staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable, plus you can get to see cute monkeys very close to you. The pool, the river and the senderos are great! About property and staff all was nice, but encountered few hosts with big music speakers near the pool during the day and night

- Anna (9/5): Breakfast with the monkeys - The hotel is located next to a beautiful river, has a unique huge pool and the restaurant serves good ecuadorian food. The speciality about this place is the close interaction with the nearly 80 squirrel monkeys living on the premises. The rooms were a bit simple and damp.
- Alexa (9/5): Superb - The staff, the infrastructure, and the location. We could see monkeys and wake up with a wonderful views. Really nice and relaxing place. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were too hard. But I think this is a subjective point of view. Some people may find them okay.

The monkeys were so cute (even if their poop on the tables was gross...it was disinfected quickly...price of the jungle!) It was a short walk to the river.bedsnwere comfy and the room fine for us. Nothing!
- Tanis (10/5): A less-known jewel in the Ecuadorian jungle - After 30 years of travelling all over Ecuador, I recently had the pleasure of discovering (thanks to Booking) and staying at Hostería El Paraiso de las Orquídeas in Archidona. It was the perfect place to share part of the Amazon Rainforest with a visiting friend. We enjoyed the location, the passing through monkeys, staff hospitality, the food, sitting by the river and the adorable cabins. Cannot wait to return with the family! Time went by so fast...I never got to enjoy the beautiful pool.
