- Andreas (9/5): Trotz allen dem war ich sehr zufrieden und komme in Dezember wieder in dieses schöne Hotel. - War bereits das dritte mal hier. Ich fine die Lage sehr gut. Und immer wieder das sehr freundliche Personal. Man wird sehr herzlich empfangen. Es sind eigentlich Kleinigkeiten. Der Duschvorhang hätte mal ausgewechselt werden und leider Waschbecken verschluss war kaputt.

- Bjoern (8/5): Gutes Mittelklasse Hotel mit schöner Poolanlage und durchschnittlichem Frühstück - Große, gut ausgestattete Zimmer, schattige Plätze am Pool, allerdings ist der Hotelpool ist renovierungsbedürftig (Kacheln haben sich an verschiedene Stellen im Becken gelöst und wurden nicht ersetzt) Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, wenig Auswahl, keine Wurst, Käse als wir dort waren. Eigene Getränke vom Zimmer sind am Pool nicht erlaubt.

Das Thailändische Essen war mttelmässig aber eher im unteren Bereich des Geschmackes. Kein klimatisierter Essnraum.alles wird drausen serviert und auch bereit gestellt.

Убирались каждый день, полотенца меняли каждый день. Расположение отличное, перешел дорогу и пляж, но на пляж мы ходили купаться подальше, там лучше заход. Чистый бассейн, есть отдельно место для курения и по вечерам играет спокойная акустическая живая музыка. Отель смотрится очень выйгрышно на фоне высоток рядом, потому что он очень аутентичный. Номер был большой, с удобным балконом и выходом на бассейн. Хороший вайфай на территории всего отеля. Очень вкусные и разнообразные завтраки! Фрукты, яичница, вафли и многое другое. Туалет с большим окном, оно закрывается, но акустика там очень сильная, в комнате все слышно. Полотенца для бассейна выдавали под роспись, не очень понятно почему. До ночного рынка минут 20 пешком, 7/11 в 5 минутах пешком. Бассейн маловат, казалось на фото, что он больше.

The atmosphere is lush and relaxing with a resort-style vibe, peaceful and perfect for a laid-back getaway. It’s also just a few steps away from the beach. For our stay, we got a corner room on the roadside, and from the balcony, we could still enjoy a view of the beach. - Yaşar (7/5): not bad - They upgraded our room upon arrival, thank you for that. It was a spacious and beautiful room with both ocean and pool views. Sitting on the balcony was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The room overall looked nice. The pool area was large and adequate. The reason I didn't give it a great rating was because the room had some interesting ergonomic and comfort issues. Although old-fashioned, the furniture looked stylish and was well-maintained. There were no aesthetic problems. However, there wasn't a comfortable area to sit and do some work, for example, at a desk. The chairs and armchairs were generally uncomfortable. Much cheaper hotels offer much more comfortable seating and chairs. Breakfast wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for other meals. Overall, I think it was a bit expensive for Pattaya compared to what it offered.

Торчат гвозди на старом деревянном покрытии около бассейна. Это очень опасно для постояльцев. Жаль, что наши любимые массажистки больше не работают в отеле. Раньше на массаж записывались в день приезда. Вечно очередь. Сейчас за 9 дней видела, что делали массаж, буквально пару раз. Ничего не могу сказать про массаж, не были. Но наши бабушки были шедевральные! Всем добра и мира.

However, this results in a stiff, impersonal atmosphere where guests do not feel genuinely welcomed. What is particularly frustrating is that even when paying equal or higher room rates—such as booking directly rather than through discounted platforms—the treatment remains indifferent, almost as if warmth and hospitality are intentionally withheld.

It only has three floors, which makes it feel much more comfortable and relaxed. I actually stayed at this hotel 20 years ago, and surprisingly, not much has changed since then. That said, the furniture is of fairly good quality, so the hotel doesn’t feel too worn out. There are some visible signs of wear and tear, and it would definitely benefit from some renovation, but overall it’s still a decent place to stay. On the positive side, the hotel has easy access to the beach and there are many places nearby within walking distance. It’s a great option if you want to stay somewhere convenient and enjoy walking around the area. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and entertainment spots close by. On the downside, the furniture could use some refurbishment — for example, the table under the TV was slightly worn. It would also be important to check and service the air conditioning system, as there was a slight musty smell in the room, which was a bit disappointing. Since the hotel hasn’t been renovated in a while, the rooms do feel somewhat outdated. However, it’s clear that a good-quality renovation was done in the past, so while many things look old, they are still in good working condition.

Staff around pool and bar were great very helpful. Pleasant atmosphere and breakfast was basic but a variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Coffee machine was very slow song long queue each morning. Rooms were bit dated but cleaned well and maids were lovely. We had a great stay and will return. Pool area needs a bit of maintenance but still a nice area for relaxing and cooling off.

The location is excellent – peaceful and relaxing, yet still conveniently close to everything. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the city center is only about a 15-minute taxi ride away. The pool area is slightly worn by time, but still beautiful and perfectly functional. The beach, along with its services, is located just across the road, which makes it very easy to access. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. Housekeeping does a fantastic job, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and welcoming, making it feel almost like home. The staff truly make the experience special – they are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast selection is a bit limited, but still more than sufficient to start the day. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again.
- P2951EAarthurp (2/5): Stay away from this hotel…staff steal your money - I had money stolen from the safe by the room cleaner and the manager /management have done nothing to resolve it I had put a large amount of Baht and some £70 in the safe and made a note of it. On the second day the cleaner was doing the room when I accessed the safe, she walked by me and stopped right beside me while I was putting the digits in..the panel lights up the numbers in red..we actually made eye contact…I actually commented to my partner on how “dodgy “ that came across and yes changed the code…however I forgot to implement that change and my partner went back to using the old code and I unconsciously went along with it. On check out I checked the money against the note …please see attachment…and noticed there was 400 baht and £30 missing…if it wasn’t for the £30 I would’ve probably questioned myself about the amount or just forgot about it as 400 only amounts to £10…but because of the missing pounds I knew I had been stung…I had no reason to take, spend or touch the pounds as overall I had about 20 thousand baht with me. I also spent half a day running around to report it to the police…the station was 40 minutes away, and because of the poor response from the hotel management as a matter of principle I wasn’t going to let it go. Regarding the rest of the stay, yes the hotel is in a good location but unlike other beach hotels they don’t have any beach space reserved. So to make use of the nearby beach you have to hire a sunbed, there’s no space whatsoever to put your own towel or beach mat…also the hotel doesn’t enforce any restrictions on reserving sunbeds by the pool so you’ll be looking at empty loungers with towels on. There are Better, Cheaper and more HONEST places to stay along that beach front. Please note I am not saying that it is a cartel operating with the hotel staff, just one bad egg but it’s been the manager and managements bad response that has marred it…to clarify when I was making the initial complaint the manager was standing nearby and didn’t make herself known but was leaving it up to other staff to sort out …under her instruction…sh could visibly see that they were struggling to explain an yet chose to remain aloof…it was only when I pushed to speak to a manager did they point to her , so you could imagine my surprise when I realised that she had been there all the time…not worth the hassle , stay away.

The inconsistency of food quality in the dinner dining. One night the dish would be good and another night it would be totally different. The food handling in the buffet as customers were very dirty and careless about sanitary issues. Perhaps some protective plastic to protect food from the germs and bad hygiene of guests.

Rooms are pleasant and cleaned well. The pool staff is great - very sociable and interact with guests well - He has a good sense of humor! Negatives: - The hotel POOL needs CLEANING and treating EVERYDAY - it's crystal clear on a Monday after the clean and treatment but by Wednesday it is cloudy again and gets worse until the following Monday. This is not because of the rain, as reception claimed, as there was no rain for three days after pool treatment! Also, Maintenance need to fix all balcony doors to ensure they all lock securely and everyone feels safe. I am returning soon and if the POOL is not not improved, I will be contacting Pattaya City Council - and TAT regarding sanitation standards. See you soon Avalon Beach :) Please make the pool crystal clear everyday.

Территория ухоженная , зеленая , прекрасный бассейн . Постояльцы СНГ , европейцы и тайцы. В номерах все отлично. Завтраки вполне достойные . Фрукты дыня , папайя , ананас. Так как это начало Джомтьена , то вокруг огромное количество всего : кафешек , массажек , магазинов и других развлекаловок. До центра Паттаи тук-тук 30 минут , бывают пробки. . В общем отличный выбор цена- качество. Минус – временами действительно пахнет канализацией, но это беда всей Паттаи

- petergK5946WS (6/5): Fab location but needs some improvements. - This hotel has a fabulous beachfront location and that would be worth 5 stars alone but the hotel really needs some TLC. It could do with a revamp as rooms and decor were very dated. The breakfasts were not good at all, the bread was very sweet and selection was not great. I only went once for breakfast as ate out for breakfast rest of the holiday. They only had one coffee machine for the whole of the breakfast restaurant which meant long waits to get a coffee. The majority of staff were very pleasant but a couple need more training in customer service. If they updated this hotel and improved breakfasts this could be 5 star hotel but at present I will award it 3 stars.
