Julie (9/5): - We stayed 2 nights in Julia villa and it was wonderful. Easy communication with the managers and clear instructions for entry. Tucked round the back it was very quiet. Everything is thoughtfully provided and all the utilities have been chosen with care. A beautifully clean and very pretty accommodation to base yourself for visiting the area. Parkes is a great town, as is Forbes and obviously The Dish is the total star. There was nothing.

There was a large fridge as we had bought ample food for our travels to Melbourne.The accomodation was actually like being at home. Beautiful and clean, great kitchen layout ample utensils. Very modern. Real clothes hangers:):) There was no mop, after our showers we wanted to mop the floor, we couldn't find one. Just a small detail.

We had a long drive to get to the accommodation, only to find that there was no milk, for a well earned cuppa. That would have nice!

Would be very happy to stay again. The aircon in the bedroom intermittently made a noise. Controlled the airflow a few times and it stopped but did come back. Not a deal breaker though.

gaurav (8/5): Beware of bond - Very neat and clean. A tad overpriced but convenient location. Saying that, Parkes isn’t a huge town Had to pay a deposit (a refundable bond against damages). I’m not sure that this is mentioned in the Hotels.com listing and I had to make a phone call to do this from an area with poor phone reception whilst on a driving trip. More annoyingly, 8 days later and the money has not been refunded even though I’ve received confirmation that it will be.

Chris (9/5): Three days in Parkes, NSW. - Self contained, one bedroom accommodation separate on a block shared with three other separate accommodation structures. Our building was modern, well appointed, well situated close to the town centre. A great spot to stay. Front door key barrel needs attention and was a bit fiddly to get the key out. But this is not a criticism but a note for the owners attention.

Feedback would be the room with the single beds has no power points to charge your phones or devices. The shower heads in both bathrooms need the keys checked. We couldn’t access Netflix etc These things didn’t affect how fabulous we thought the house was, it was wonderful.

Todd (5/5): luxury look but aldi products - Not much Bed was very uncomfortable place looked good online but seems to be a fitted out shed has cheap fittings and everything in is cheap it is located in a dark back laneway with no street likes felt very dodgy out there once you book the accommodation non refundable of course they then tell you they want a extra deposit that takes weeks to be returned and when you ask regarding this you get a rude response

It provided everything we needed which we could see was well considered. These are very well maintained buildings and are in a great location. We found the rear parking a little tight, other guests weren’t so considerate. Neighbours dogs barking, BUT when we contacted the property manager we felt they acted promptly and did everything they could to rectify the situation. Very thankful x
