• Wolfgang (7/5): Preis der Unterkunft lässt einen besseren und renovierten Zustand erwarten! - Lage ist nahe dem Zentrum. Auto steht nachts sicher. Große Auswahl zum Frühstück. Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind sauber. Ausstattung ist teilweise improvisiert, aber funktionell. Zimmer sind bei weitem nicht so schön wie auf den Fotos. 10-er Bewertungen sind für uns definitiv nicht nachvollziehbar! Der Aufenthaltsraum lädt nicht zum verweilen ein.
• Sean (10/5): Close to the CBD, the beach and major attractions in Swakop. - The breakfast was amazing, everything you can think of is there, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, cereal, you name it. The owners were very welcoming, great conversationalists and friendly. The facilities were clean and in great condition. Safe parking as well.

• Felix (8/5): Klasse für den, der das Besondere mag - Riesiges Zimmer in grüner Umgebung. Alles Nötige vorhanden. Man sollte wissen, dass Dusche und WC im Zimmer sind (oder Freiluft), das darf nicht stören. Sehr schöne Anlage. Frühstück zum Selbermachen, Getränke gegen Vertrauen. Etwas staubig, eine Reinigung vorher hätte gut getan.Klasse

It was peaceful and quiet and the hosts were extremely kind in helping with our mountain or washing. I would say this is perhaps not suitable for a very young family as the art is quite explicit.

The hosts are very nice and make you feel at home and go out of their way to make the stay as perfect as possible. They are very knowledgeable about the area, the country and the region in general and share their valuable insights to make the stay very worthwhile.

• Sharifa (10/5): A hidden gem😃 - Beautifully put together with a unique charm. I absolutely loved the fire oven, it added such a cozy touch. The complimentary wine and chocolates were a thoughtful surprise, and I really appreciated the access to the kitchen in case you need to warm up food or make yourself some tea or coffee. Breakfast was a full self-service buffet with a generous variety of cereals, cheeses, cold meats, teas/ coffees and additional hot breakfast. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully arranged, with small comforts like electric blankets and hot water bottles that really make a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back, with friends and family next time!

It was helpful knowing our vehicles were secure in the rear compound, and we were pleased that laundry facilities were available.

• Gabriela (10/5): A truly special place to stay in Swakopmund - I liked everything about the accomodation. The architecture, the friendly hosts Sibylle and Frenus and the location. It‘s in a quiet neighborhood close to the dunes and a bit further from town center and beaches. The room was clean and welcoming. The kitchen well equipped and breakfast was abundant. The kitchen and eating area could have been a little bit cleaner. The rest was perfect :).

The rooms were beautiful and furnished very well (the entire space was eclectic, but cosey and did not feel out of place). The breakfast was a feast, if you are up for it! A bit far from the centre of town and the sea-front. We could hear some traffic at night and during the morning.

Breakfast is very delitious. You can take fruits when you want. Also big respect for Cristmas dinner, it was very friendly and i will never forget our company and good conversation. It is one of the best memories in Swakopmund and Namibia jorney. Sibylle and Frenus thank you very much for this great experience. I will recomend you Space for everybode, who goes to Namibia.

Relaxing and easy going situation. The host is always at hand to see that everything goes smoothly. Maybe the bathroom can be a little more luxurious, e.g. larger shower head, small stool or bench for placement of personal articles.

Offered to drop us off at the main square wherever had dinner en next day when I had a flat gyre, they were extremely helpful in getting us on the go with minimum time loss All ok
• Celia (9/5): Fun and interesting place to stay. Nice and quiet. - There are quite a few rooms at the house, but there is outdoor/garden space where you can be by yourself. There's a lot of art to look at, making it an interesting space. You make your own breakfast, but they provide lots of different foods to choose from. The owners arranged a couple of tours for us, which was very helpful. Frenus, the man of the house, is interesting to talk with. The floor of our room was pretty dirty. It would also be helpful to have a shelf on the wall of the shower or close by for soap, shampoo, etc.

Host readily available to help. It was a bit chilly inside, could use a heater or something to warm the house during winter months at least.

The bathroom facilities are part of the room which adds to the atmosphere, but you have to feel comfortable with this. Very friendly hosts. Good breakfast and lovely kitchen that guest can use for a quick meal. This is not a hotel, but a very special b&b. Parking is inside gate. Nothing.

As we got there we were just impressed by this place, his architecture, the artwork, the room design - just everything. And we got our favourite room - large, special and unique - not a Hotel room - thanks god - a place that lives. We spend a little time with Frenus and Sibylle and the next day we just spend all time from breakfast until late afternoon together as we sadly had to leave to drop off our car in Windhoek. We got more then we ever thought . 2 more lovely hearts in our life! Thank you. Just for the fact readers: You will definitely not miss anything at your breakfast - if you like to feel home at this place -forget about room service - service your heart and soul. our time schedule - we had to leave too early.

The BnB is gorgeous and the rooms are comfy. 10/10 recommend :-) the breakfast is awesome as well! Nothing.

• J. (9/5): Alternative Space B&B is great alternative space ;-) - Very family like accommodation with a lot of interaction with the hosts as well as guests, interesting conversations. Cozy room by the fireplace. A good starting point for various tours - ocean, dessert, Cross Cape, etc. Nice walk down the center made us move quite a bit (contrast to sitting in a car for extensive periods). Self serving of beverages is very practical as one can choose eg. wine matching one's taste. Great value for the money. A bit problematic handling of the cars (one blocking others) - not a big deal especially as Frenus was ready to move the cars as needed.
