Chambre très spacieuse avec cuisine commune très bien équipée, qui est un grand avantage étant donné qu’il n’y a pas beaucoup d’infrastructure autour. Il faisait très chaud dans la chambre pendant la journée, malgré le ventilateur au plafond.

• mihaela (9/5): Wonderful stay away from touristy areas. - We were on a kiteboarding vacation. We loved the location, minutes by car to the beach; we stayed in the suite- great view, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great. Staff was very nice and helpful.

• Iris (9/5): - La vista del lugar muy linda. Atención muy amable. La ubicación del lugar estrategica, desde el punto de vista de tener transporte propio el lugar esta cerca del centro y de las principales playas. En general las instalaciones bonitas y con un buen mantenimiento. Habitaciones y principalmente el baño es muy pequeño, pero es aceptable con conforme relación precio calidad. Algo de valorar es el tema de aire acondicionado y contar con pantalla de TV, pero es un tema que no para todos los usurios es importante, al menos para mi me es indiferente, pero si conozco a personas que sufren mucho de calor y si prefieren aire acondicionado.

There was some issue at check-in, for some reason somebody else made the checkin on my name… they solve it and gave us another room.

• benedetta (9/5): Amazing stay - The location is amazing: quiet, with monkeys, squirrels and birds everywhere. It's a perfect place for kitesurfing, as the hotel is also a kitesurfing School, giving lessons and renting gears. The people there are basically focused on that and this made me feel at home, as it creates immediately a community. The room was clean and the restaurant was good. The place is actually way better than the pictures. I really loved my stay. Possible improvement: considering the remoteness of the place and the costs of Costa Rica, it would be awesome to have a common kitchen. The only real complaint: the kitesurfing equipment for rental does not have insurance.

• Hit the Road (8/5): Relaxed and comfortable stay - Great peaceful location, with a super view over the bay from the terrace in front of my room. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and nice food was available. Whilst I was not kite surfing, I liked the vibe that the place had. I had very noisy fan's in my room and they could do with being replaced. The accommodation is built into and on a steep hill, so if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

Definitivamente, logré el objetivo de descansar, relajarme y pasar excelentes momentos visitando varias playas de La Cruz y luego yendo hasta el centro de la ciudad. 100% recomendada como opción de hospedaje. N/A. Todo cumplió con mis expectativas.

El hotel es bastante amigable con la naturaleza y se adecua al entorno. Es sencillo y ofrece buenas comodidas para estancias cortas.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - The friendliest and nicest host of all the hosts that we have met on the way. Beautiful view of the coast, hot water in the shower, cute dogs. The room was super warm, even with the ventilation it was almost impossible to cool it down. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the late night cars coming and going into the hostel or people talking as is they were standing next to your bed.

• Pablo (8/5): Nice views and very comfortable! - The place was very nice, with beautiful views and surprisingly, not hot at all. Fans work pretty well. It is on a very steep slope, so you might think twice before forgetting something up in your room. The other thing was that my room had the reflective screen facing me, so I could see myself inside the room, but so could everyone else.

• Marinus (8/5): Very good - Cozy little stay close to the beach, but in the middle of nowhere, the next Restaurant (besides the Hotel's own small Café) was 20min walking. Breakfast was available but overpriced. The staff was very helpful!
• Louisa (8/5): Each room has its own vibe. Stayed 2x and hope to visit again - The rooms and casitas are nestled into the mountains giving great views from sunrise to sunset!! Was disappointed in the pizza and how much the microwave was used
• Jake (9/5): Superb - By far the best outfit to kiteboard with in Bahia Salinas, or Costa Rica for that matter. Their spot on the beach is the most upwind, works at all tides, and is always open 9.30 - 4.00, whereas downwind beach outfitters are swamped at spring tides, and are only open when they have lessons booked. Experienced instructors (currently in 2025) fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian & likely others. Gear rentals includes a full quiver of this year's Core XR. Bring smaller kites, nothing bigger than 12m. I wore a 3/2 shorty, but some were in shorts / rash-guards. Don't worry about travelling here alone - if you kite, or are trying to learn, you'll soon be one of the family. A rental car is not at all necessary for kiting, as transport to the beach is provided, but is nice for trips to other (wind free) beaches for sunsets. Very dog friendly. Morning yoga.

• duane (8/5): - Nice place, a bit older, but clean. close to ocean, but a bit of a walk to get there. Big climb to get to rooms, ok if you are not physically hampered. Close to some decent dining if you have a car. Food at property was average. Great value for dollars. Rooms very small and bank of 5 rooms share a small patio space. Nice common space below at front office. Many staff were volunteers from other countries learning to Kite Surf, they were all very friendly.
