Super Service - ob es der rasche Ersatz der vergessenen Zahnbürste, das Einkühlen der mitgebrachten Pizza oder der Transfer zum DEPECHE MODE-Konzert in der Black Arena war… die Gastgeber-Familie war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer in der sehr gemütlichen Unterkunft in der hervorragenden Lage mit tollem Panorama waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Ein großer Parkplatz steht ebenso zur Verfügung. Alles in allem eine empfehlenswerte Adresse für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Pörtschach! Hoffentlich auf Wiedersehen!

The private beach was peaceful and use of the paddle boards was great fun. It was amazing value and we would all love to go back again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Es ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes, aber uriges und angenehmes Landgasthof mit kostenlosen Parkplatz, nettem Ausblick und einem schönen privaten Strand (10 Min zu Fuß). Drei Sachen haben mir nicht gefallen: obwohl bei Expedia versprochen, war leider ist die Internet-Verbindung im Zimmer nicht vorhanden, nur im Frühstücksraum und teilweise auf der Terrasse. Kein Duschgel, nur die Handseife. Keine Klimaanlage und im Zimmer unter dem Dach recht warm in der Nacht.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved our stay at the property! Beautiful property in a fantastic, peaceful location overlooking the lake which makes for a wonderful and relaxing stay. The owners and staff are the friendliest, kind and helpful people you could wish to meet. Rooms are very clean, maid/cleaner comes daily if you wish, amenities are all there in your room area. Bed was very spacious, comfortable and warm with more blankets in the waredrobe if you needed them. Breakfast was a buffet style spread every morning with something to suit everyone with hot and cold drinks too. Overall 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel liegt ca. 400m vom See entfernt auf Anhöhe - Der Aufenthalt war in Ordnung. Bei der Ankunft im Zimmer fand meine Frau ein gebrauchtes Taschentuch im Mülleimer - hätte es nicht gebraucht. Beim Frühstück ist zu beanstanden das Käse und Wurst ungekühlt am Buffet stehen, Schinken und Butter ( im Stück ) komplett offen und ungekühlt präsentiert werden. Frische Eierspeisen wurden nur einigen Gästen angeboten.
- Yusuf (10/5): Stay for Ironman Austria - Quaint hotel nestled in the hills a short downhill walk from the lake. I stayed to do IRONMAN Austria and it is only a 15min drive from the expo in Klagenfurt. Friendly owners, tasty breakfast and comfortable room! What more could you ask for?

- Marc W (8/5): Worthersee visit - Beautiful views from our second floor room. A family run establishment that is very clean, well kept and quiet. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and free parking. We enjoyed our stay.
- Tamara (10/5): - This part of our trip was like something out of a fairytale. The owners are prolific gardners so the home is surrounded by roses, peonies, and vines. At night we fell asleep to crickets and birdsong. It is in a quiet location a thirty minute walk from the bustle of the town. The owners welcomed us like members of the family and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Our room and balcony gave beautiful views of the lake during the day and the stars at night. We ate a delicious breakfast in the lovely garden each morning. Their private beach has nice lawn chairs, indoor space, dock, and garden area. My husband loved swimming off the dock and I enjoyed the sunshine. We hope to be back. The property is a short walk up the hill from a train stop and the lake. They also had a lovely play area for children on the property. One thing to know is that the property has stairs to the bedrooms.
- Wolfi (8/5): Sehr schönes Landhaus - Landhaus am Berg, tolle Lage mit Aussicht, gepflegter großer Garten mit Spielplatz, ausreichende Parkplätze, sehr persönlich, erstklassiges Frühstück, riesige Auswahl an Wurst, Schinken, Käse, täglich anderes Highlight. Gebäck zu Semmeln und Brot würde ich mir wünschen, jedoch keine Kritik. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Landhaus Strussnighof weiter empfehlen! Hat auch viele Stammgäste.... Zu erwähnen wäre noch der hauseigene Badestrand, zwar klein jedoch mit Kühlschrank für die Lagerung von Essen und Getränken für zwischendurch sowie jede Menge Sitzgelegenheiten zum Essen.
