• Jenny (5/5): Ok hotel, not lux - We ordered food when we arrived, which was served in the lounge area, in good time. It was tasty and not too expensive. The rooms are big, clean with a lounge area- although decoration is dated. It was nice to have a pool area with loungers- although be aware the front of the hotel where the pool is situated, is right next to the highway, so can hear car noise. Breakfast was ok. The staff were not very friendly ( compared to all the guesthouses we stayed in during our Armenia trip), and at reception only one person could speak English. During the night my sons were woken at 2 am with loud music playing, which went on for a long time. I woke up at 4 am with noises from within the hotel ( I think hotel staff, although not definite), banging around, and loud talking. Was hard to use the AC- would appreciate some written instructions in the room on how to use.

I lost my headphones, at the reception they helped me find them. Nice people! It was a luxe room. But the faucet was broken, and the towel hook was broken. Noisy shower fan. The noisy road nearby. Not very comfortable table and sofa for work. A round bed on which you can’t lie down diagonally with my large height. It's dark, I didn't have enough light.

Very noisy and impossible to cross by foot so you have to go by car to anything (restaurant, supermarket).

Description of rooms doesn’t correspond to reality (e.g. I intentionally booked a suite with a balcony but there was no any). I hope this would be fixed as administrator didn’t seem to bother when I informed him. Air conditioning requires maintenance as it smells unpleasantly. That was my 5th hotel in a raw in Armenia and that was a first time I didn’t feel welcomed. After I check-out hotel was trying to cancel my booking for some reason.

• Alexis (4/5): Disappointing - Staff was friendly! – Room wasn't that clean in places like “under the sofa”; – Breakfast was poor and not tasty at all; – Some fan (like central vent or air condition) was very loud all night long; – Sound isolation is very poor (drunk guests walking and laughing at the main hall woke me up several times at 3–5 AM); – One of the bathrooms had toilet that was hard to stop flushing and shower where the water hardly was draining out; – Pool was nearly ice cold and water in jacuzzi was even colder — and this is in the end of August.

• Geraldine (4/5): Service could have been better. - Clean room and bathroom. 1. Aircon is not inside the room but in between rooms. No cool air comes through the rooms other than when the windows are open. 2. Shampoo and shower gel are not replenished daily. 3. The cold water on the fridge is not free for guests. I don't know what's the fuss of charging guests extra for a cold water. In a country where temperature can peak as high as 40C a little bit of cold water will go a long way, but this is apparently chargeable. Bottled water in the rooms are only provided for free on the first day, however it's free in the breakfast room when you have your breakfast. It doesn't make sense. I was disappointed to be told that I have to pay for a cold bottled water. 4. We were not told before hand that the swimming pool and sauna won't be available on the days of our stays. Gutted as we chose to stay here for that reason, to enjoy the a swim and sauna. We eneded up just using the jacuzzi in the room instead.

• Helen (10/5): Lovely hotel with sauna and swimming pool - My husband and I loved it, it was our first trip to Armenia and my choice of the hotel with the view of reasonable prices, great facilities, convenient location if you decide to rent a car to explore the country and be away from the busy traffic and at the same time close enough to get a taxi to the city centre ( £ 1.50 -2.00 by taxi), absolutely lovely staff as helpful as in London hotels of South Kensington area where I have been staying for my training 3-4 nights a month since September. Very clean, bedroom area with TV in the room, also lounge area with another TV, excellent food too, we arrived at 9 pm and ordered from the room service menu, it was cooked from scratch and took 30 mins ( we don't eat fast food) and it was so nice!!!and we were happy with our breakfast too! We travel a lot all over the world and my opinion is if you want and prefer the benefit of 5 star hotels just book one of them which we do all the time but this time it was a spontaneous decision to travel to Armenia and the flight tickets cost already £ 650 each from London so I was happy to find the Green Palace and we never regretted it, and we would like to thank again everyone from the hotel for our wonderful stay there!
