Guest Reviews
- Michelle (8/5): - A great price point fir a place to lay your head down.
- Donald (4/5): - The bed was comfortable.
- Eddie (10/5): - Great place for the price
- julia (10/5): - Do not expect any frills here. It is very, very basic, and on the older side. But the place is so wonderfully quiet, the outdoor areas are kept very clean unlike other cheaper motels, the owner is so very nice and helpful. And for the money, this one can't be beat! I have stayed here on 2 separate occassions now and will be stopping here ever time i am doing my long drive for work.
- Lolita (10/5): - Room is clean staff is amazing
- Victor (2/5): - The property seems to be a lil bit to
- julia (10/5): - I give this place 5 stars because for the price it is excellent. Do not expect anything even remotely fancy, but it is quiet with ample parking. Plus, for me, having a fridge is something i appreciate. It is definitely an old motel, but for the price, i will be staying again!

- Edward (10/5): - Good area clean room nice staff

- JULIAN (10/5): - Little out dated but ok
- Mark (2/5): - Remind me of the Bates Motel. It’s very old and out of date. The beds were very hard to sleep on and made noise and all the furniture is old and used.
- Suzai (10/5): - Clean..
- Cheryl A (2/5): The place not economy - The room is so old and for almost 200 dollars it should have been bettrr tv has scramble or no screen and audio only. If u heavy good luck on the toilet and u have ants has friends the manager was not very friendly

- Deborah (8/5): - Very quiet and clean, very close to everything near downtown Paso Robles
- Charles (6/5): - The staff is very helpful
- Philip (4/5): - Very dated, small room with small uncomfortable bed. AC could barely keep up and it was only 85deg outside. Way too expensive for what you get
- Connie (10/5): - Attentive, caring and friendly managers. Simple and clean accommodations.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great value, comfortable room - Great value place to stay. Room was clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Old and decrepit room. Very noisy with traffic and loud ac unit.
- Richard (8/5): - Small not fancy room but good for one person just wanting to sleep without noise in the area
- Anita (8/5): - Stayed one night so wasn’t bad
- Carl (2/5): - Very dirty, would not recommend
- Sue (4/5): - Overpriced, room had a cold appearance,
Spread had stains on it, toilet articles below standard, towels were stingy and not of good quality, linens old need replacing.
We were traveling through to Los Angeles and this was the only place available to stay in the area.
- Yvette (6/5): Definitely No Frills - No frills place to stay. Room was very dark. Bulb is main room and in bathroom burnt out (1 of 2 working) no real place for your clothes. No dresser or nightstand drawers. Closet had no door and the mini fridge and microwave were in there so no place even to hang clothes. Room and bedding were clean. Bed was very firm and only 2 pillows.
- Ruby (10/5): - Staff was excellent
- Maria (8/5): - …
- Laura (2/5): Needs updating! - I don’t know why anyone would say this is a good place for the money. It is in desperate need of updating. We had to change rooms because the faucet broke in the first room the second day. So in the middle of getting ready we had to change rooms. The room had exposed open pipe. Room was mold in corners. They staff was nice. But it didn’t make up for how run down it is.
- Debra (10/5): - Very lovely place to stay for the beer festival
- Azarel (4/5): - The property’s location was very convenient! The staff was nice and welcoming. The checkin are smelled a lot like tobacco. The room was tiny, but it has a fridge, which seemed clean, and the bed sheets also appeared to be in good condition. The bathroom was not pleasing. My husband and I did not feel confident showering there. I don’t think we would stay there again but if you are looking for something convenient and lower in price range this is a decent property.
- laredo (6/5): - Good for the money in that area
- Karen (8/5): - It was a quiet location. The rooms need paint and updates. Vanity door did not fully close, white towels were stained and walls looked dirty.
- John (6/5): - It was a place to sleep. Somewahr run-down. Was somewhat clean, but agin cheap. It provided what I needed for 7hrs sleep.
- Dee (4/5): - Run down property.
- Justin (10/5): Definitely will stay again - The layout of the room is cool. One queen bed when u walk in to the right by a nice little kitchenette that included a sink, fridge, and microwave. Then around the corner was another queen bed. Restrooms were ok. Tub had some hair in it. Place was quiet. Walking didtance from dominos and a 711.
- Joel (4/5): - Place is way run down, even smelled like a cheap hotel. Towels are ragged, but bed/sheet a-ok.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Lower your expectations. - The room was ok. Clean. Shower didn’t have a shelf. Wash counter was broken and caulked back together. AC unit was very loud. If it was priced to reflect these items I’d be ok, but the price was steep considering.
- Paola (10/5): - 100% recommended. Nice place near downtown Paso Robles, rooms very comfortably. On my next visit to Paso Robles , definitely I’ll stay here again.
- Michelene (10/5): - These are good people and they even remember me by name. Feel right at home there and fair priced
- Marisol (8/5): - I chose this place for the price and walkable location.
- KAREN (10/5): - Very Happy. Quiet, Clean Comfortable Room Everything Great!
- Curtis (8/5): - Clean and safe and comfortable.
- Darren (10/5): Nice place to stay - Clean room, smell clean, looked clean Like laminate flooring rather than carpet
- Ute (6/5): - There had been noisy men shouting, but the owner cared for quietness
- Kimberly (10/5): - I was just too tired to keep driving and was looking for an affordable place to sleep. I didn't stay or look around town, I have visited the area in previous years and I would have loved to linger but needed to return to work. Staff was so helpful, friendly, kind. Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. Very appreciative of your hospitality. Highly recommend.
- Alvaro G (2/5): - Property management is watching you like a hawk. Not very clean rooms, and very dated. Would not stay here again.
- Emmanuel (2/5): - Furniture is old. Towels are ratty and stained.
- Jesse (10/5): Cool Economy Inn - I like this property, good, friendly staff
- David (10/5): - I like the attitude and friendliness of management and parking right at my room.
- Jesse (10/5): Nice Economy Inn - Good hotel in a good area
- Corazon (10/5): - Big clean room
Very good value
- Tushar (10/5): - Hotel provided all the amenities that we need they have microwave refrigerators in the room . The room was very clean and comfortable
- JOHN (2/5): - This was the third time we stayed at this motel and each time it was noisy, the last time, at 3 am in the morning and continued until we left at 5 am. WE will never stay there again.
- Christina (10/5): - The room was perfect, clean and quite big
And the staff was so friendly and professional. 10/10 would stay here again!
- Lee (8/5): - The manager was very helpful, great guy, however, I thought $430 for 1 person for 2 nights was too much. The phone did not work and I wish there had been a hair dryer. Another blanket would have been nice also. The TV worked very well.
- Stephen (8/5): Economy is the right name - Essentially a "Box with a Bed/potty" motel. One of the older places in Paso, it was clean and served our needs just fine. If a highlight of a trip is the room you stayed in (mostly with your eyes closed) then it couldn't have been much of a trip. No complaints, no high praise, it's an adequet lodging for a night.
- Barbara (2/5): - This place was horrible. Highway robbery on the price. Very old linens. Should be ashamed at the price we were charged.
- John (4/5): - Over priced for a tiny little room with no chair in the room.
Would not recommend
- Mary (10/5): Awesome Economy Inn - I found that from check-in to check-out it a very pleasant experience. Friendly and respectful staff. They made sure that we had coffee and that the room was ready for us. Room was fresh smelling and clean. We will certainly use this Economy for return visits. Great price and great experience not to mention a very nice location to get to freeway and local attractions.
- Michelene (10/5): - Best price in town and a good location in the middle of town friendly and clean
Nothing fancy.
- M (8/5): Nice room - I was doing a run at a local winery, the room was small and clean and fit our needs, being close enough for my spouse to drop me off and pick me up after the race.
- Julie (10/5): - The man in the office is very nice and helpful.
- Steven (10/5): - Run of the mill type of place, which was fine for 1 night. Cooperative staff, clean room, all amenities that I need.
- henry (10/5): - Normal
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great for an overnight. - Our stay was very short but nice. It would have been nice to have an extra set of towels in the room, they are a little on the small side.
- Richard (10/5): - Clean comfortable and great for a basic economy hotel. If you don’t need the Ritz this is perfect.
- Verified traveler (4/5): One of the worst places I've stayed - The room was awful: just a bed and a dresser. No chair. No table, or desk. No where to sit but the bed, which had a filthy bedspread. No towel racks to hang a wet towel. No where to put toiletries except the floor in the tiny bathroom. The 2 flat pillows should have been thrown away a long time ago. Torn carpet, peeling paint. Just miserable. I will never go back there.
- Shoko (10/5): - good service
- Margaret (6/5): - The airconditioning was noisy.
- Darlene (10/5): - The rooms are very clean and sanitized reasonable rates quite place to relax manager is very nice made my stay very comfortable Thank you
- TAMMY (10/5): Perfect short term stay - Our stay at the Economy Inn was perfect. We arrived a bit early and they were able to accommodate an early check in. The room was clean and cozy, with everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The walls were thick, so we never heard our neighbors even though the hotel was completely booked. And the AC kept the room cool despite the triple degree weather outside.
There is a grocery store across the street from the in, which made it more convenient.
- Leticia (8/5): Room ok - Hotel was a little out dated and needed some up grades but overall it was good. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. For a weekend trip the room served it's purpose, hotel is located close to downtown.
- Ignacio (2/5): Disappointed - I booked in advance and requested & paid for double beds we got 1 bed we did not fit it was dirty & horrible
- Cathy (10/5): - It was walking distance to the CA Mid State Fair, we were attending two concerts.
- Laura (6/5): Friendly port in the storm - The owner/workers were friendly, polite and very appropriate...the property itself could use some love. It's quite old and rather run down. By 8am there was no hot water. However, the room was neat, the bed was clean and was overall quiet. It served it's purpose well. And it was a good value, especially for my last minute traveling.
- Elvira (4/5): - Had no coffee maker and the AC stopped working in the middle of the night.
- Ethan (10/5): - Nice motel
- Bruce (4/5): - This motel room seemed more like a prison cell. Super small, tiny bathroom with NO counter space and no coffee maker in the room. The walls were so heavily textured, it looked like stucco. For $69, this would be overpriced; for the $250 I paid, I should have gotten every room there. I feel bad writing this because the people there are very nice, but I wish I’d been warned.
- Daryl (8/5): - We enjoyed our weekend stay at this nice little motor motel. It is a no frills, clean place to rest & get ready in for enjoying everything Paso Robles has to offer nearby!
The owner/manager & staff were very nice! He has new coffee makers in the room with great coffee!! (Better than the Hampton - shhh!)
It is a good deal for the area! When we have an event or business in Paso Robles again it will be our go to budget friendly lodging.
