- Nick (10/5): - Love this Hotel, i will stay here again. We came here for the Crab and Oyster feed @ the Wahkiakum fairgrounds, so this awesome historic landmark was a perfect fit for us to keep us safe from traveling the icy roads back home.

- Walter (8/5): Quaint, but small and very squeaky floors - I had read the reviews to stated it was an older hotel with squeaky floors. Well, they were correct. The hotel was built circa 1926, so older and quaint. However, I was not prepared for how squeaky the floors were. They were really bad. If there was a room above me, not sure how I would have handled it. And my room was next to reception, so everyone was walking past my room. Luckily, I didn't hear any foot traffic after I went to bed. The room was also very small - no desk like I saw in pictures. The bathroom was pretty large, but the shower was about as small as I have ever encountered.

- Allison (8/5): - Old hotel. Our room was pretty hot. Had to leave the windows open to get cooler air in. AC through the hotel did not work in our room. One of the windows didn't open. Still decent spot though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great historic hotel - This is an historic hotel on Main St. My room was small, but plenty of space for me. The bathroom is nice. There's a frig, but the microwave is in the dining room area, which is always open. Staff were friendly and helpful. I felt safe, my room appeared clean, and it was quiet. Yes, I would stay here again.

- Cheryl (8/5): - It is a quiant old building, with lots of charm. Nice, quiet stay but needs better upkeep. The bedframe needed dusted & floor vacuumed & cleaned better, we found a pill on the floor by the side table. The back area was dirty & full of weeds & junk Didn't mind walking the dog there, but sitting in the dining room , overlooks that area, should be kept up for guests.
- Jordan (10/5): Quaint friendly place - Stayed two nights in a small room with a twin bed which was very perfect for me. Unfortunately it was during a special event on July 20th where they closed Main Street which is where the hotel is located. Off street parking is in the back of the hotel and a little confusing as to which door is for the door. Friendly staff, bed was comfortable, good water pressure, more than enough towels, big closet, hair dryer and portable heater were available. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very small and bare-bones, but the bed was great and view of the Columbia River was amazing! Hotel staff lives on-site so desk is usually unattended but a quick phone call will usually get you service in short order.

The bed was comfy, the hot water was plentiful, and the room, though on the small side, was clean and quiet. The on-site staff was available and helpful, when needed. The creaky floorboards, vintage furnishing and local artwork were homey, like visiting a cherished, family home. I was visiting the area for work, and appreciated the fast internet, easy parking and walkability to a few restaurants, a grocery store and the marina.

I was traveling alone with my kids so the spacious king bed and futon were perfect. The hot shower with great pressure was much appreciated after a long day of driving, and the breakfast room was a hit with my kids! Will definitely stay again!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Old historic hotel with charm - The hotel owner was very nice and agreeable. She allowed us to have a late check in at 10pm. She took the time to tell us the history of the hotel and about some of its quirks: creaky floors and skylights because the building was built before electricity was in widespread use. The room was a good size and clean. It was a little worn down but what do you expect in a tiny town? The continental breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, and pastries. The one improvement i would make is that there were some boxes in the hallway, sheets on a table and other stuff sitting around. I would put that stuff away so the hotel does not become cluttered. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

- Rebecca (10/5): Stepping back in time - We really enjoyed our stay at the Cathlamet Hotel. It is a charming old building in the center of a picturesque village. It was like stepping back in time. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was lots of common space to spread out and enjoy the charm of this historic building. It exceeded our expectations.

- Scott (10/5): Great Experience in Cathlamet - Cathlamet is a lovely little town. I thoroughly enjoyed my evenings at the local restaurants and my stay at Hotel Cathlamet was great. For $100/night in a small little town I was not expecting much so was pleasantly surprised by many things. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful when I checked in which was a great first experience. The rooms are simple and clean which is what I expected. Dish TV was great and the bed was much better than I expected. I think I heard they just purchased new high end mattresses so that was nice. I had to check out a day early since my job finished faster than expected and normally I would forfeit the money for the last night per Hotels.com policy but the Owner was nice enough to refund me out of her own pocket which was above and beyond.
- Lizbeth (8/5): - It is an old building, the main entrance is not what you expect for a hotel, but once you get to the 2nd floor your experience change. We got a remodeled room, bed and bathroom were new and very cleaned. Great service. The dining room is open 24 hrs and a lot of things to snack and drink like coffee, tea and juice, and more. Great to stay for a couple of days.
- David (8/5): Past and Present Dichotomy at the Hotel Cathlamet - Since rooms are small, we enjoy the reading lounge area for reading and snacking. The breakfast/ all day and night snack area is well stocked with goodies. Seeing the river and the channel marker outside our window is a real treat. The floors of this old hotel talk of times of old
