- Jung (9/5): 롯데리조트 전반적으로 만족 - 체크인 아웃을 담당한 여직원분들이 아주 친절하심. 적당히 센스에 유머감각도 있으심. 조식에서 리필하시고, 가장 바쁘게 움직이시던 조리팀 여직원분.. 빠르게 뭐가 필요한지 확인후 사사삭 움직이시고 친절하시고... 지나가다가 눈 마주치는 손님들 일일이 최소 눈인사라도 하시고~ 일당 둘셋은 하시는듯~~~ 추가했던 침구에서 생전처음보는 징그러운 벌레가 나옴.... 하얗고 투명한? 기다란 아이... 침구 교환 바로 해주셔서 좋았지만... 애들이 방에서 나온거면 어떡하냐고 난리를 쳐서 결국 거실에서 잠. ㅠ 하지만 그 후 사과도 해주시고 침구 금액은 제외해주심. 잘 대응해주심. 체크아웃때도 다시 한번 사과해주심

- Gueho (4/5): waste of money, never going back - spacious room and friendly house keeping staff despite of paying extra for ocean view suite, I was given the lowest floor of ocean view where I see the roof of the lobby + trees blocking the 1/3 of the view. You have to throw away trash yourself, dishes, and do the recycling yourself. it's like airbnb.. Everything is for a cost. you're forced to buy water shoes if you want to go to their infinity pool, and kids water shoes is very expensive, and the pool access is ridiculously inconvenient. staffs were not sympathetic at all either. pool bars don't open if there's not enough customers.
- Benjamin (8/5): A nice stay overall. - The location is nice, beautiful scenery around the hotel. A nice hiking trail outside the hotel along the beach, with a trail directly through the hotel, makes it nice for a morning walk. The room was clean, comfortable bedding. The outdoor swimming pools and sauna area were very good too. The food at the buffet was good but not exceptional or that impressive given the expensive price. The water park was partially closed, yet they charge full admission fees.

- Dmitry (10/5): Amazing views and great convenience - Perfect apart-hotel with indoor water park. Amazong views to Yellow sea. Location is a little far from the Sokcho eye, but anyway 6 minutes by taxi. Payment with WowPass was only possible in the hotel, taxi and city shops do not accept it.

It’s a 10 out of 10, and I’d love to come back with my niece and nephew soon. The only downside was that the food at the BBQ restaurant wasn’t that great. Long walk and lots of lockers to get to infinity pool. This. Was fairly shallow and warm. Didn’t want to pay to use sun lounge. Ended up preferring to swim at beach. Sea view a bit boring- better views look towards Sokcho Beach. We didn’t use water park as extra cost.

For checking in, if you booked through other websites such as Expedia, hotel.com, etc., you have to use the kiosk. You can use self check in kiosk but you wouldn't be able to have closer rooms if you booked more than one. Besides that, check in process was good. The resort had a sauna which was really nice. The first floor near the check in counter had kids' play area with affordable price and underground had arcade and a coffee shop. The room was clean and the bathroom was really nice with great water pressure. We really enjoyed our room, since we had the ocean view. The brunch buffet had lots of options. If you have family with kids, I would definitely recommend this resort.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful hotel complex. - Amazing amazing amazing. We came here after a horrible night at the Kensington in Seoraksan. It felt like heaven. Be warned, even tho the hotel details don’t say “additional fee” for the outdoor pool (infinity) there IS an additional fee. They will make you pay if its not part of the package. The warepark is pretty small but we didn’t use it. There was zero info on using the pool so im gonna put my experience here for others used to western hotels. You enter at the warerpark entrance and tell them your room number. They give you a wrist band. Next stop at the shoe lockers, wrist band tap unlocks. This is a good thing. I hate walking barefoot where others have shoes on. Next walk thru the locker rooms - I didn’t look to see if our wrist bands opened those too, but im guessing it might have. If you haven’t been in a korean pool or sauna before be warned - everyone being naked is normal. They don’t care about you either. There is a stairs up to the outdoor pool opposite the waterpark entry after the locker rooms. Go up. If you want sunbed you are supposed to rent them. We nor others seemed bothered I left my bag on one. Heres where you need a warning. There are no towels by the pool like there are in US hotels. It was freezing the day we went, which while water was warm it was horrible when we got out. Either take your own towel to the pool side or take the robe from the room. Tiny towels are available in locker room.

- Kerry (6/5): - The room we were given had wore carpet,dusty and had holes in the carpet.we complain and we’re given another room which was a bit better,you do have to pay to use the swimming pool which I don’t understand and was $40 per day per person the only reason we booked was because of the shuttle bus but there is nothing around there look for something in Unseo-dong you can just get on the train and it’s goes to T1 and T 2

Great infrastructure , but you need to pay for everything, even to sit on a lousy sun bed by the pool for 2 hours or to use a pool towel! Outdoor swimming pool is beautiful but only opens at 10am, so what do you do with a child that wakes up early until that time?? Breakfast is also extra, and the other option available is a coffee shop that only opens at 10am! The safe guards by the pool are so strict that we weren’t even allowed to sit by the jacuzzi! Just a terrible experience in general for those used to travel around other resorts in Asia and having a much better treatment.

- Tara (10/5): Great resort to stay for a getaway! - The room was spacious and clean with a great sea view! The bed was comfortable -- loved the duvet as it was light and kept me warm. The whole resort was clean and modern, and the facilities were all great. The sea walkway is a great way to get your steps in, and Daepo Harbour was an easy walk aaay for a lot more restaurant options. Would definitely stay here again! Wished the curtains blocked the light better, but that doesn't diminish the overall stay.

- Molch (5/5): Disappointed for the price we paid and the quality we got - Our room was good and the breakfast too As a foreigner yoimu cant reserve a spot for breakfast if the room is full since their systen is based on ttelephone numbers to call you but wont accept international ones. However we got a table after we complained about it. We didn't like the water park at all. Half of it waa closed. Our girl is 116cm and couldnt go onto the slide even though we vouched that she could swim. Also the wave function can only be used whilst having a swim vest and only at 1m height. We can swim really well but we had to buy a mandatory vest (even us adults)... and the entry to the park was already very expensive and nit discounted even though balf the water park is old and not functionning....

Spacious free parking, some food options, convenience store and self service laundry at the hotel. Staff was very helpful, but they don't speak English. No ceramic cups in the room, only carton/plastic cups, which is not convenient.
