• Shana (3/5): Bingin Garden - The privacy of having a villa, central to the Cashew Tree restaurant next door. Very isolated pretty much from any other area. Had to taxi to everything we wanted to do, should have researched tgat better. Not much nearby. The first villa we were shown into with 2 bedrooms- actually had a completely green pool! As the staff could tell we were mentioning it, and I was about to strenuously complain, they then took us to the 3 bedroom villa. Pool was OK regarding cleanliness, not great, mould around edges. Very dirty, Kitchen was absolute disgusting, did not even want to drink out of the glasses. Bathroom not very clean also. Think thecstaff need to be shown expectations of travellers for cleanliness.

When we arrived one of the bathrooms was not cleaned but after letting the staff know they cleaned it immediately and apologised for the inconvenience. The pool also didn’t seem filled up enough which was a little odd.

• Warren (7/5): Great value for money. - Great location, cashew tree restaurant right next door was amazing. All meals were unreal and good value. Rooms were big and shower was great. Pool was clean. Quick walk to the beach although I see the government are demolishing the cool places on the beach. I am not going to say anything negative as you get what you pay for, this was not an expensive place to stay I would say it was more than comfortable to stay in but if you want to spend more time in the villa rather than out and about pay more for something nicer but I would book this place again in a heart beat.

The pool was lovely and rooms clean and tidy. The shower head was very old and didn't work properly. They had problems with the water to the rooms which was fixed but happened twice during our stay.

They were attentive and consistently wished us a good day, which made the stay even more pleasant. There was a dog and a cat at the hotel, and their friendly presence added a special touch to the experience. The location was great, right next to The Cashew Tree. There were constant issues with the WiFi. The room’s facilities were somewhat disappointing, the toilet tap was broken, the shower was overflowing, one of the chairs outside my room had a broken panel, and the door didn’t close properly at times, so I had to leave it open on some occasions.

The villa is surrounded by nature, with a lovely green garden and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The staff were kind and helpful, always with a smile. A perfect little escape in Bali — would definitely return.

• Simone (10/5): Gorgeous oasis - Lovely rooms in a beautiful wee oasis. Rooms and grounds were very well kept, we saw staff doing maintenance everyday and were very helpful when we needed something. Beds are comfortable and pool towels are a nice touch. We had the two bed suite so could make use of the kitchen, although it's worth noting that there's not many shops around to buy ingredients. We were travelling with a young family and didn't have our own transport but wouldn't be a problem if you had a scooter - big shout out to Alan who helped us with some groceries! Water pressure was amazing - best shower in ages! Only 10 minute walk to beach where you can get amazing BBQ fish! One of our highlights! The two rooms in suite are not interconnected, great if traveling with friends or older kids but not so great with baby and 4 year old that likes to wander. We had to split the kids and parents between rooms and lock the door which meant we needed two parents all the time. Totally manageable but knowing this in advance would have been useful. Also needs hooks for hanging up towels etc but other than that it was great! All minor things.
• Liesl (9/5): Convenient, comfortable, peaceful - I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were great, was next door to Cashew Tree and Bali Training Centre and close to Bingin Steps. For future guests please be kind to the little white cat who lives at the villa. Apparently she lived with a previous long term guest and he left the country. She isn’t very well and I tried to get her in a carrier to go to the vet but she is too quick and is impossible to catch. Agunk (the manager) and Alan are really helpful and easy to communicate. Will stay here again.
• Nicola (3/5): Poor. DO NOT RECOMMEND - Door Didn't lock. I ignored previous reviews. I shouldn't have. They made no effort to assist in helping lock doors. As well as overcharged us for the rooms and made zero effort to rectify the problem. Would not recommend this accommodation.

The fridge was great to have. Perfect location for my training at the gym next door and the cashew tree. We loved our stay here. The aircon was great, no mozzie issues. The only complaint was that the pool was a bit warm. Other than that, everything was awesome. Pool was a bit warm.

• Sarah (7/5): For the location and what you pay - all good - The pool was great, room spacious and comfortable, lots of room for belongings etc. Nice outdoor area for chilling outside, playing cards, enjoying food. Great location, with a mini supermarket next door for supplies. Also next door to The Cashew Tree which is a fantastic restaurant. Very close to Bingin Beach and Dreamland Beach - excellent sunset locations, close to other hotspots in Uluwatu. Pradana spa - 2 mins away via scooter, great massages. Cachos Bingin Mexican - delish margs and yummy food! Scooter rentals very close! These things did not ruin our stay, and the staff were very friendly, we just rolled with the punches and appreciated all the positives above. Plumbing wasn’t working properly for our bathroom, dripping, leaking water the entire time, however there was a bucket to catch the leaks under sink, which we emptied once during the 4 day stay. Bathroom a bit smelly too. Our room wasn’t serviced once during a 4 day stay, but we never followed this up either and weren’t too worried.

Overall could not complain about the villas and it is a good choice. The Staff let the place down and were not very friendly or helpful. Could not speak much English. Everything seems like too much effort, We had no water for a day so could not flush the toilets and did not know what was going on. Had to push the staff to do something about it which they eventually did. The pool had algae growing on the walls. Shame because with a little effort they could have made it more enjoyable for their guests.

• Glenn (3/5): Disappointing - Nice part of Bingin, close to the beach and cafes. Pool area, garden and villas are lovely. They tried to cancel our booking the day before we were due to arrive even though we booked paid months in advance. Spent an entire day of our holiday arguing back and forth, looking for other accommodation until they decided to honour the booking ??? Then they ran out of water, no toilets, no showers because “oh the water truck didn’t turn up yesterday”

Wasn’t allowed in until an hour after usual check in and room felt a bit unclean still, some hair on floor. Place needs maintenance. The shower doesn’t drain properly so floods the bathroom with water. One side of the front door doesn’t open. The room is very basic, could do with some warmth. The staff weren’t very friendly when we arrived, didn’t communicate well with us.

• Natalie (6/5): Basic accomodation in Bingin - Location next to the Cashew Tree. Had a wedding around the corner so that was our plus. Very comfy bed. It was not clean. Lots of hairs, bathroom not clean and the sink was gross. Plenty of ants in the room as well. There is no staff around most of the time and the common spaces are not looked after. The day we arrived there were dirty cups and empty bottles around the pool, 3 days later they were still there. Linnen was also not the cleanest looking. Would not stay again.

• Talia (10/5): Perfect for Uluwatu First Timers - Perfect location within walking distance to Bingin Beach and right next door to one of the best restaurants in Uluwatu (The Cashew Collection). There is a motorbike rental space across the road and a mini-mart next door (super convenient). The pool is clean and perfect to lay at on a hot sunny day. The room is also clean and completely soundproof - we didn’t hear our neighbors at all. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend staying here!

• Cameron (8/5): Nice quiet location, with friendly staff and good pool. - Nice quiet location which is walking distance from some nice restaurants and Bingin Beach. The main strip is a 5 minute grab scooter away, so was easy to access town when needed. The doors took some manoeuvring to lock, but was manageable.

• Evelien (9/5): I would absolutely go again. Sitting on the patio with a view on such a pretty gardens love it! - Beautiful garden and very spacious. Lovely pool. Nice bali vibe. Outdoor shower with loose rocks on the floor looks nice. But is not so comfy for the feet. Open roof so when you have the lights on bugs fly in. Just make sure to keep the door closed.
