- susan (5/5): The hotel is basic but the room was clean and I slept well. - The staff were friendly and helpful. Although I wasn't happy with the initial room allocated the receptionist found me a different one which was fine. The breakfast was well cooked and made a good start to my days. Some of the communal areas were rather grubby which was off putting. I think the hotel information should point out the fact that there are stairs from lifts to the rooms. Although I managed, it was tricky navigating with luggage. Some people may struggle.

Useful supermarket opposite Tired furniture. Very dirty windows . Shower temperature was difficult to regulate. The building used to be an office block . Although there are lifts there are also lots of stairs and flights to negotiate

- Ezekiel (1/5): Bad Review for the Hotel - NOTHING Absolutely awful and frightening experience. I checked into my room normally, left to watch the football, and when I returned later that night another guest had been given access to my room and was staying in it. The hotel admitted they had assigned me the wrong room. What made this even worse was that I was refused immediate access to collect my belongings, including my inhaler and valuable personal items. I was left stressed, anxious, and genuinely worried about my safety. If I had been in the room when the other guest entered, the situation could have been far worse. The whole incident was handled terribly and completely ruined my stay. A hotel should make guests feel safe and secure — this hotel failed badly. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast was reasonably price - cheaper because paid for when we checked in. Confusing layout - you go to the floor above the one you want and then walk down a half flight. Looks like no disabled access. It's part of some sort of block where half is used for offices and half for the hotel - but at that price, so what!

The accommodation was clean and well maintained. It was odd in that it was sort of attached to a job centre and the reception is on floor 2. We checked in late at night and it was dark and raining so we did not see the signs to say we have to park and pay on arrival. Staff on night shift locked guests outside when he turned off the sensor on the auto slide doors on the main entrance and left the reception unattended One of the guest had to bang hard on the door for attention No apologise from the staff when he rushed to unlock the door Bed was not comfortable as the bed had a lot of springs poking our body in room 505 and l dare the management to lay on the bed to feel our experience Mattress was worn out and flat to the metal springs The set up of hotel was like a hostel Overall experience is not coming back again and will advice guests to have this in the back of there minds based on our awful experience

- Michelle-Natalie (7/5): Nice stay apart from that - Great location local Aldi across the road from the hotel and meals and drinks were cheap and great value for money Bath and had paint chipping off it the floor hadn’t been hoovered had hairs glitter and fluff on it and had no plug 🔌 next to the tv all the plugs were down the end of the room no sense also you can’t open the windows if it was boiling hot or warm also the maid never knocked the door she just walked in when I was on the loo and my other half was in bed asleep needs a dressing
