- AGNIESZKA (7/5): - Hotel is very easy to find, close to Taksim metro station. Close to direct bus to sabhia aeroport. Réception is 24/24 very good if you dont know exacly when you will arrive. The room was small but ok, internet work very well, everythink was clean. The staff are very helpfull. The price was quite good. Around hotel there are lot of shops, restaurant. Our room was underfloor, so we didn t have a window with natural light.

- Dr.bassem (7/5): Budget residence near taksim square - The location of the residence is very good if you want to stay near taksim square. The wifi was fine. The staff are polite and one of them which i assume is the owner invited me to taste the turkish honey and cream while having her breakfast which was kind and really appreciated. The residence does not have an elevator and a lobby. The reception is in another hotel facing the residence. Although they provide daily cleaning, more attention to details is required. The room has no sound insulation and needs maintenance. It was also frustrating to me that the receptionist wanted to check the room before proceeding with my checkout which i felt weird as i travel quite frequently to hotels around the world and this is the first time it happens with me including in istanbul.

Room could use more items (1 more toilet roll, one more water bottle, and one spoon for coffee mixing) My room was great. But there was a night with heavy rain and the bathroom ceiling was leaking water droplets.

A special thanks to Mr. Zayed, who was very attentive and polite throughout my stay. I truly felt welcomed, and I will definitely be coming back again! There is no elevator.

Hotel close to Taksim square, easy to reach the center by walking along Istiklal Street. From the Istanbul airport you can reach by shutle bus. The street is noisy, but this is Istanbul.

Havaist airport shuttle within walking distance which is very convenient and cost effective for arriving to and departing Istanbul. Room and bedding clean. WIFI was very good. The connection of the SMART TV was strong and stable when watching Netflix and Prime. An early 9am check in was allowed as our flight into Istanbul arrived at 6am. The main entrance door to the building was often found open or unlocked. Aircon in room was not functioning effectively. The blind on the windows is not a block out material which causes the morning sun to wake up. This was annoying when we wanted to sleep late. Three down lighters fused. One above the bed, one upon entering the room and the bathroom light. No three point plug in room. This is critical for wanting to charge my laptop.

The room was comfortable and provided what I needed which was basically just a place to sleep. Really close to a metro station which helped a lot. Plenty of restaurants and bars walking distance from the hotel. The hotel was a bit noisy. Might just have been the time I was there but could often hear people coming and going in a very inconsiderate way. My room was also street facing on the ground floor so I could hear a lot going on outside. I think there could be an improvement in toiletries provided.

Our room was under the roof and had a broad view of the city from the balcony. No lift. Climbing the stairs wasn't a problem for us as we didn't have much luggage.

- Rosa (10/5): Nice hotel with lovely staff. Great value for money. - We stayed here for 10 nights and enjoyed our stay! The rooms were comfortable and clean and the balcony view was lovely and nice for relaxing in the evening. The location was very convenient for accessing all metro, trams and funicular etc. We didn’t love Taksim square itself however this had nothing to do with the actual hotel. We had a couple of problems with our original room due to unusually heavy rain however this was sorted quickly by management and we were given a free upgrade for a couple of nights while the problem was fixed! Overall it was fantastic value for money and the staff were SO kind!! We did have unresolved problems with the wifi for the last couple of days, however the staff did do their very best to sort this out.

- Karim (4/5): Disappointed - Location: 5 minutes to takseem Square. No noise on the side street. It's not situated on one of the very steep side streets. Clean room Staff were nice and tried to help out often - room is quite smaller compared to pics - we got a room at 4th floor, and the stairs were metal , spiral stairs that are narrow to move large suitcases. Of course goes without saying that there's no lift. - windows only had metals curtains without blackouts, thus we woke up as light filled the room. And when asked for them to fix that, when we returned at night we found that they've put a blanket to cover the window. Very resourceful but not the solution I hoped for.

- Leyli (7/5): Perfect to stay for one night, but not longer - The room looks good, modern, the bed is amazing. Stuff is helpful and attentive. Close to the Taxim square and Istiklal. There is a small kitchenette in the room. Bathroom is cosy and towels are plump and fresh Windows are drafty, and it was cold in Istanbul, so I had to keep the heater on (it was swiftly provided upon request) always, because the heat just went out immediately. Sigarettes i found on my balcony on the check in were there on the check out, the balcony was not cleaned during my week there. View from my balcony room was not the best, but since it was raining, it didn't matter much. The fridge makes loud horrifying noises from time to time.

The only suggestion as an improvement I would like to add is to put blackout blinds or curtains to other windows as blinds are a bit thin. Just improvement needed to blinds. Main balcony window had blackout curtains which was great.

The room was located next to the front door so it was noisy when people went in and out, there is no front lobby or common spaces to sit, other than the person who checked me in from the neighbouring hotel, l never saw a staff member in the hotel (which could be due to it being low season.)
