Guest Reviews
- REDSHE (9/5): Perfect stay in Amsterdam - Location location location...perfect!
Size
Bed confortable Checking-in process...?
No windows in unit2 bedroom/bathroom area
No mirrors in main bedroom.
Toilet seat bad, lose.
2nd bedroom very dim lighting (also fused bulbs)
No drying kitchen cloth
- william (9/5): perfect - location was perfect. near to shops, bars cafes. ten minutes walk to main shopping mall. plenty to do. no toaster in appartment
- Wolk (8/5): Lovely spacious apartment in a great location - Location was great, apartment was spacious and well equipped for a long stay. It could have been cleaner. The plates were dirty in the cupboard on arrival, there was something left in the washing machine that created small pink stains on the clothes. We stayed in the basement apartment, so not quite as nice as the apartments in the pictures. There could also be more cupboard space.

- MAOR EITAN (7/5): -
- DAVID (8/5): - The towels I wish we had more and also some of the towels were very old. It wasnt a big deal but again wish we had more than the two.
- Cynthia (7/5): Nice location. - Location Stairs. No ac. Leak in ceiling. Poor plumbing
- Hasan (5/5): -

- Farancia (10/5): everything about it. the apartement clean, the staff so kind above all the location is in the centre. we will be back ag - the location, the cleaness of the apartment and all the facilities it came with. We were lucky to have a nice view of the canals

- Crystal Victoria (6/5): - The location of the property was great with all sorts of amenities and entertainment within walking distance. The check-in was a less than memorable process. During the check in the cleck took a call, which sounded like a personal call, and just left us standing. Then she asked if I wanted to set up my credit information for the property deposit and I said yes. She barely started the process and then decided to dismiss us and said we could do it later when the suite was ready for checking. Minutes later she emailed me the credit deposit form to complete. It felt like she just wasn't interested in doing it. When got to the suite we discovered bugs in the bath tub, towels that smelled mildewy, dishwasher had a very off putting, and hair dryer was so sticky we were unable to clean it off. House keeping is every 3 days which is fine. However we were told of we needed any extra things dropped off to either call or email the reception. I called and asked that house keeping leave extra coffee when they came as we only had 6 when we arrived and ran out because they actually did not come until the 4th day. When they did come they left 4 pods 2 less than what we initially started with. If house keeping comes every 3 days, supposedly, and 2 people are staying in the suite you would need a minimum of 6 pods for each person to have one cup of coffee a day. We gave up and bought instant coffee instead only to discover the kettle provided in the suite was in a unusable state.
- John (10/5): - Was really nice apartment and will probably stay there again the next time I come back to Amsterdam next year!
- ITZIAR (8/5): En general, genial.
- Alexander (8/5): we had a lovely time hope to be back again different view - i loved our view on the canal and fact we was close to all the activities shops coffeeshops etc got on so well with everyone we met. the chairs in the living part of suite very small not very comfortable especially if your trying to relax after a long day of walking, the bed kept splitting in the middle was 2 singles beds with a mattress topper happened a few times a night which resulted in us having broken sleep, the fans that was provided really wasn't all that great i found the little tristar fan was more effect that the big cooler in bedroom area, on arrival to the suite we had no welcoming pack milk coffee beer wine etc etc was nothing like like for the price i paid there should of been extras in my opinion.
- Elizabeth (8/5): - I loved the neighborhood surrounding Amsterdam Canal Suites. It was right on a canal, quiet, and dining and museums were a walkable distance. We fell in love with Bistro Bonjeur located just down the street. The suite was clean and comfortable. Service was spotty. They didn’t take the dirty towels and one day only brought one clean bathtowel and no fresh hand towels. There were no dish towels or potholders in the kitchen and the freezer compartment was full of ice that had melted together, rendering the compartment unusable. I appreciated the laundry center with detailed instructions in English for use. I would have appreciated the same for the dishwasher. We ran it twice and the soap never released.
- ana (8/5): Adoramos a nossa estadia.
- Sunet Robbertse (8/5): -
- Enzo (8/5): -
- Truda (9/5): Some occasional heavy footfall from above - The suite feels great Light airy overlooking canal which adds to the appeal. Close to lots of different restaurants. Under 5 minutes. 20 minute walk to the big art museums along interesting streets.
No había cucharillas. Vistas a qué jardín?
- Zagorac (7/5): . - Odlična lokacija, miran i siguran kvart.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really great space with lots of light, fully usable kitchen, bedroom was comfortable and thick curtains that blocked out the light. No issue with wifi and laundry was useful. Great choice!
- Juan (10/5): - Cute little spot. Stayed for a week. Everything is near by including transit system. Would 100% return and recommend.
- Matias (9/5): Very good - The location was perfect, the furniture was comfy and stylish, the kitchen was very well equipped. Very comfortable to travel with friends. One of the rooms didn't have much light, more ventilation in the rooms could be good. Whenever you use the bathroom some weird sound appears, nothing really annoying but it could for sure be improved.
- Linda (8/5): - Location was very good
Clean and pleasant
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Central to restaurants, Shops and public transport. Enjoy our trip immensely! Na
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): Beautiful - It was beautiful None
- Angelique (10/5): Using the stove top with out fire alarm going off would be great as well as a lounge suite on top apartment would be han - Location was amazing view also Key pick up a lock box out front would be a better idea.
- Ghazal (10/5): - Great stay
- Timo (8/5): Very nice apartment with some room for improvement - Lovely apartment on a great location.
Completely self contained. Bathroom was not clean enough. Mold and brown muck between the tiles.
Ceiling lights only, so no cosy atmosphere. Two beds forming a double slide apart during the night
- Elizabeth (10/5): - great location
- Ammar (1/5): Bad -
- Chia (7/5): Good location. The building is older than the pictures shown - The interior design, view, and the location. Although we can’t see the river but good that the neighbour have very nice tree in their garden. Would be more convenient if can collect the key at the location instead of 10mins away. The bathroom is a little aged, can see stain. For some reason, my T-shirt was thrown on the floor after they clean and we can see towels left on the floor for days in the corridor.
- Jon (8/5): Nearly 5 stars - Apartment is great, location was excellent and so handy for different tram routes. But there were a few omissions that made the catering a little more tricky, such as a shortage of glasses and mugs, no toaster. We had power cut and a flood that were dealt with quickly by the owner. overall we just felt there were a few homely touches missing that would have made it 5 stars...
- Steven R (10/5): - The Amsterdam Canal suites are a great way to feel like you have your own apartment in the city. We found the bed and furniture very comfortable. Closing the blinds at night made for peaceful rest as long as the people above you are not walking around. Footsteps and furniture moving on the floor are noticeable from above if you are just trying for silence. We did not hear other sounds. Kitchen has needed equipment for preparing simple meals. TV and Internet were sufficient to downtime entertainment. We had some issues with cleanliness of the suite, but we were able to work with management to address timely. Shower is hot and water pressure good. We were happy with the location and it made for easy exploration of the city. Nearby restaurants, bakeries and grocery shopping were great.
- Helen (4/5): Loved the location. Would love to see the apartment improved. - Excellent location. The apartment was a good size. The view of the canal was splendid. The street was quiet but close to excellent amenities and a tram stop. Hotel staff were very polite and responded efficiently where possible. The shower was good. The bathroom had useful shelves. The apartment had some useful equipment to meet our self catering needs. Many items were broken, glasses and plates. We handed them to the staff but none was replaced. No pedal on the pedal bin. No lamps, we had to watch television with either a bright overhead light or sit in the dark. The mattress was badly stained. The mattress had an uncomfortable topper which was too soft and light to contain the sheet, which was not fitted. Our backs ached from the uncomfortable mattress. We reported it but the hotel could not replace the topper. The towels were stained and rough and one had a large hole in it. Only one bedside lamp worked. The sofa only had one cushion - we had to use a pillow. The oven was dirty. The cutlery drawers and cupboards were dirty. Every surface was dusty, including the bathroom mirror and shelves, the ledge on the wooden panelling that ran around the walls and the headboard above the bed. The toilet had an accumulation of faecal stains. We had to clean many things before using them, including the lavatory and the shelves and cutlery and some pans. The dishwasher had not been emptied. The door on the freezer compartment was broken. It fell off every time we opened it. We reported it. There were no tea towels. We had to purchase kitchen towels, sanitising wipes and toilet cleaner. We asked for the room to be cleaned but only the bed was made up and the bin emptied. A handle was missing from a kitchen cupboard. The room dividing curtain had detached at one end but the ceiling was too high for us to reach the hook. We couldn’t close the curtain fully. The plug socket in the fitted headboard was insecure. The apartment could be so easily improved with thorough cleaning, a few inexpensive repairs and some small additions such as plates, lightbulbs, cushions, lamps etc. It was sad to see a lovely building so neglected. With very little money and attention to detail poor could easily become excellent. It showed a lack of customer care for guests by the owners which the staff could not remedy.
- Taylor (10/5): - Good stay and experience! Reception made me feel at ease, as I had travel issues and walked me through all the steps for an easy process. The actual suite was stunning and I would absolutely stay here again! The housekeeping was also very nice and always there to help. 10/10!
- Al (1/5): Bad - Nothing The rooms are not clean, and the bedding has insects.
There is no elevator, and carrying luggage up the stairs is very exhausting.
Room service is poor and did not clean the rooms properly throughout the stay.
They took a deposit of 500 euros, which is a very high amount.
The reception staff are uncooperative and do not have good communication skills.
- Veljko (9/5): Superb -
- Saif (1/5): Bad - On the day of my check-out, we had an early breakfast, and when we returned a couple of hours before the check-out time, the magnetic key didn’t work. We were locked out in the freezing December cold and rain, waiting for a representative to arrive with a new key. This was completely unprofessional, and I was left feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. Given that this was my second time booking this apartment, I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning in the future.
- Danny (8/5): - Parking is absolutely horrendous in Amsterdam. As a first time visitor - this cannot be expressed highly enough. Do not rent a car unless absolutely necessary. If you must rent a car - have a parking plan in place before you arrive.
- Majd (8/5): Very good - Spacious apartment, great location, comfortable one flight of stairs. I have a few points below to improve the apartment for other customers:
- Although we had to wait for the cleaners to finish until we could check in the regular time at 3pm, but there were evident crumbs below the rug in the living room!
- Bathroom ceiling needs to be finalised as it's clearly been renovated but not finalised
- Entrance hallway is very long and not utilised, I suggest some coat hangers and artwork and a mirror can be installed there.
- Emily (6/5): - Excellent location: outside the more intensely 'touristy' areas but still a short walk to lots of museums, shops, and dining options. The women at the front desk were friendly and helpful and allowed both myself and my travelling companions to check in a bit early (since we arrived on early flights.) One of them even brought my companions' keys over so they wouldn't have to go back to the hotel to pick them up (note that the hotel, where check-in takes place, and the suites are about a 10-15 minute walk away from each other, but they provide a taxi after check-in, so you don't have to haul your baggage any further!) Beds were very comfortable and the kitchens were very well equipped so we didn't have to eat out every meal.
However, I was very disappointed with housekeeping services. We understood that housekeeping is not done everyday for the suites, but we stayed for nine days and housekeeping only came once, and only after we asked for it. They didn't do any cleaning or vacuuming, didn't change the beds (which was requested), didn't remove dirty towels/leave fresh ones (in fact, I found the last stay's dirty towels in my room), and it's clear that some things (the bathtub, cupboard doors, etc.) don't really get cleaned at all (or at least not very often). For the cost, I definitely expected a higher standard of housekeeping.
- Shagun (10/5): Amazing. They just need to look into the above mentioned concern - Very warm and spacious! Excellent location. There was a washing machine but no washing pods or detergent.
Fire alarms for every room should be separate. We woke up in panic because someone else was smoking in their room at 6am
- Jennifer (7/5): Nice size - Location and size Lower level bedrooms and smell of the downstairs
- Angela (7/5): Dirty - Location was perfect. Quiet place, nice view. Pleasant place that i would recommend. The apartment was not properly clean. We complainned about it and the staff very kindly sent somebody to clean the next day. Only that after the cleaning there was no difference at all. Lots of dust and hairs in the toilet, greasy kitchen, marks of glasses on the tables...
- Harbi (1/5): Bad -
- Nicole (10/5): The stay was amazing the location is amazing everything is so close - The size was amazing the kitchen very functional the bed very comfortable and shower was amazing You can hear the people above you walking got a little annoying specially when they are up all night
Also paying a $500 holding deposit when checking in is abit steep and then paying city tax on top off what you already paid to stay
- Samara (6/5): - The location of this property was great but when we first arrived it wasn’t cleaned very well. The kitchen was alright but the fuse would go out when trying to use the microwave.
- Jessica (10/5): - Canal Suites Amsterdam was even better than we expected. Gorgeous layout of the apartment style suite, comfortable bed, TV equipped with Netflix, functional kitchenette, good wifi, and most importantly a very walkable neighbourhood with everything you need, nice and quiet but just a short walk away from multiple types of public transportation and a bustling bar and club area. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam and would come back again.
- Theresa (6/5): - Very close to many sites, grocery, restaurants, and public transportation.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Very cute space in an excellent location, well-appointed with fully functional kitchen. That said, there were a bunch of small issues that made this a four-star review and not a five. Flat instead of fitted sheet on the mattress meant my side kept coming untucked every night, and I'd find I was sleeping on the mattress pad. Air circulation isn't great, and the free-standing AC unit blows cold out the front and hot out the back, meaning if the kitchen is cool, the living room is hot. Better to use the windows and the fan setting. No instructions for guests on how to use the oven/micro or the dishwasher so you're left to puzzle it out on your own. Had to call more than once to get coffee supply refills - the machine in the room used different size pods than what we could get in the grocery. Being off site from main property means no on-site staff, so if anything is needed after hours (including a lock-out assist) you need to go to the main hotel several blocks away, since the solo staffer can't leave the property.
Anyhow, all of these add up to minor annoyances in what was a great stay. They say location, location, location, and being able to look out the front window of a first-floor walkup onto the canal, the boats, the bridge, and the Amstel, as well as the H*ART museum and opera house on the other side was priceless, as was being able to hit Bakkerij Verhagen for pastry, bread, and coffee/OJ in the mornings (just at the other end of the block!).
- Bruce (6/5): - Pictures presented online looked nothing like the unit itself, we were stuck in a basement level room that was dingy and needing maintenance. The carpets were filthy, the AC didn’t work, there is mold in the bathroom, and when I reached out about the A/C and to mention the room looked nothing like the expectations that were set, the man literally told me “I don’t know what you want me to do about it”. Told me to email the property. Management never returned my email about these issues. Housekeeping just drops off towels. The location is great, but I would have got a hotel had I known the condition of the place. I feel like I got bait and switched.
- Eniayo (8/5): Great Location - Place was nice looks just like the photos. Very spacious. Great location, centrally located to everything that we were interested in. Overall had a great stay. The apartment does not have AC or fans. We were there during a heatwave so it was miserable for a few days. We had to go buy a few fans.
- Merilin (10/5): - Very pleased with the hotel 5/5
- Gabriella (10/5): Love love love - The entire place was beautiful, suite was amazing had everything needed it felt like home was disappointed to leave! Leaving :(
- Dan (8/5): - The Good:
1) Great location !! 4 tram stops from Centraal Station ! Suite is right on the canal system ! Wonderful old home with lots of history, I'm sure. Great restaurants & supermarkets near by. Great bakery at the corner up the street.
2) Very attentive staff. Any issues, they were on top of it. You can contact them any hour of the day.
3) Quiet neighborhood at night. You can hear the early morning birds as you wake in the morning. Feels like Heaven on earth.
4) The Dutch are very kind & classy people.
The Not So Good:
1) Stairs, stairs & more stairs. Because the homes in Amsterdam are narrow & very tall , there are a lot of stairs. This suite is definitely not for older people , or any people with mobility issues.
2) Upkeep in the suite could be better. The frying pan supplied in the kitchen was worn & heavily stained. There was a nasty clog in the shower/ bathtub. Drained very, very slowly. Kitchen cabinet door almost caas I am not a person that dwells on the imperfections.
Overall a very good experience ! Would do it again in a heart beat.
- Michelle (8/5): - Great location. Only complaint would be the ventilation. Otherwise enjoyed out stay.
- Shanna Gravlee (10/5): - So glad we ended up here! We visited Amsterdam for the first time to celebrate our 25th anniversary. After reading guide books, watching travel videos, and comparing properties, we finally settled on this one and it turned out to be a great decision. Amsterdam is a super busy city. The city center (Dam Square) is always flowing with so many bicycles, tourists, street trolleys, and boat tours. This property is about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute trolley ride away but is still in the heart of the canals. The particular canal it is on is very quiet but is completely beautiful. There are bakeries, restaurants and a trolley stop 100 yards away but it is still peaceful compared to the rest of the city. The buildings in Amsterdam are narrow and tall. We stayed in apartment 6 which is on the top floor. It does requires three flights of narrow, steep steps but that's the way most buildings are in the Netherlands. We LOVED coming back to the room every evening. It had tall vaulted ceilings, a cool european style bathroom, a tiny clothes washer/dryer, and a functional kitchenette. But the view! There is a sitting room with a double window that looks out of the canal and nearby river. Every night, we opened the window and enjoyed the fresh air and amazing scene below. Seriously, I don't think you'd find a better spot if you're wanting something convenient, comfortable, quiet and scenic. If you're OK with a few steps to climb, I think you'll dig this place.
- Dawn (10/5): - This place is a gem. We will stay here again when we come back to Amsterdam.
- Kathryn (5/5): Comfortable but not functional - Location, size of flat, bed was comfortable, comfy couch, working washer and dryer, bathtub was nice and big, great luggage storage and clothes wardrobe, interactions with maintenance staff was pleasant We planned to stay here so that we could cook meals to save money on eating out at restaurants, however, the oven/microwave combo did not work-we found the manual online and eventually discovered it was broken so we couldn't use anything to cook meals other than the stovetop. Even if the oven/microwave combo did work, the kitchen is ill-equipped to cook meals as there is no metal grate or pan to use in the oven. The kitchen is lacking simple kitchen utensils in order to properly cook a meal, and there is poor ventilation-couldnt open the windows, and the vent wasn't powerful enough for what was needed to cook.
The toilet extractor pump may be undersized. It clogs easily, and we had a disruption to our holiday stay where the very nice maintenance worker had to stop by to fix the pump.
- Catherine (10/5): Wonderful stay in AMS - The building and unit are lovely with a pretty view. The staff was outstanding and very responsive and welcoming. They addressed our questions very quickly. We reserved a 9 night stay and it was nice to have cleaning service every 3 days. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short by 2 nights due to a family emergency and there was no available credit. The location was great. They should probably list that there are 47 steps to reach the flat. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if the kitchen was equipped with towels, pot holder and a washcloth. Also, easy instructions, like they have for the washer/dryer, for the oven, in English, would have been helpful.
- Mohammad (8/5): Very good -
- Luize (2/5): This is by far my worst stay and I’ve travelled to a lot of hotels and apartments. Zero heating upon arrival, due to the -
- Daniel (5/5): it was fine - the location was good but the hosts are only out to exploit you for a simple request to extend checkout time, I had to pay them 70 euro . the location
- Ammar (7/5): Good -
- Aleksei (10/5): Exceptional - Great location & good apartments. The staff is friendly & helpful. This particular apartments has separate entrance & lower than the ground level so the window is small & there is not enough light. This is not obvious from the description.
- David Reagan (10/5): - It was nice to have an apartment with a great location.
- Wendela (7/5): Would recommend - Great location
Friendly staff Unfortunately little annoyances like no plug in bathroom sink , broken trays in fridge, only a capsule coffee maker and not quite enough capsules , no wash up liquid., couldn’t figure out how to use oven/microwave and the hotel staff couldn’t help
Building work noisy but only during working hours
- Jaranovic (9/5): Superb -
- Carrie (8/5): Excellent location & attentive staff, not safe for children - Location was excellent and the staff were very responsive and attentive, even came to show us how to use the microwave and dishwasher when we couldn’t figure it out. The apartment shown on the listing was different than the one we were given, which was fine for the most part but the stairs inside it were not safe at all for my family. If I had seen them in the listing, I would not have booked it. My MIL fell on them once and I fell once while holding my child. Not shown in the picture is a big open gap that a child could easily fall through. I asked the property to please update their listing on Booking.com for the sake of transparency.
- Maris (7/5): Excellent location and spacious enough apartment. city center, shops and the canals were very close - Location for us was perfect, city center and shops and the canal were very close. The water pressure was lacking a bit, but otherwise cannot complain. We contacted them when we needed the towels to be changed or if we were in need of something else. They were very quick with their response.
- Rod (8/5): Very good - Location and a good size
- Dan (9/5): Great place! - This turned out to be an excellent choice for us. The apartment was large and roomy, nicely appointed. The location was great. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance or a short tram ride. The stairs are really steep! All 40 of them!
- Mohammed (6/5): Good stay at Amsterdam Canal hotel - The location was excellent.
The size of the room big which suit my need.
The bed is so comfortable
My flight took 7 hours to arrive to Amsterdam and after this long time, the check in was in different area than the hotel which made me feel so tired.
The cleaning service should be daily not every three days.
The boiler was so dirty from inside.
- Warren (4/5): Average. Not worth the money, more location which saved the trip - Friendly receptionist that made the check in process easy. Went out of her way Mould build up in the bottom rooms and shower. Towards the end of the stay, this started to affect the kids chest. Great location but the cleanliness is not up to standard.
- Teresa (5/5): Nice location. Needs some logistics improvements. And ability to pick upstairs or downstairs units. - Being on the canal is very nice - and lower unit looks out on to the canal boats going by. walkable to many restaurants and market.
Bed very comfortable and linens nice. 1. Simple instructions in English for the washer and dryer. We spent hours trying to figure out how to get clothes washed and then dried. A frustrating waste of time. Housekeeping guys did not know. The technician they sent did not know. We had to Google translate the on machine instructions to English and still not easy.
2. The housekeeping - had to ask for everything - they did not well stock basic things like soap.
3. Kitchen cooking was dark. The under the counter lights did not work and light over stove worked the first couple of days then stopped working.
4. I intervened to help a family with 2 small children trying to check in and the key the desk had given them did not work. The receptionist insisted that they had to come back to the hotel for a new key -- she would not send a taxi for them .I asked why - that they could not get back all the way there with two kids and luggage and she said something about booking the taxi on a different account -- whatever. It was their fault - yet she made that poor mother walk back (actually she ran) to the hotel to get a working key. Very bad customer service. and with an attitude.
5. Kitchen missing some basic items which I went to Ikea and bought for a long 3 week stay. Like a cutting board.
6. The tiny frig/freezer combo is insufficient. The freezer was frozen over and unusable when I arrived. I asked that they defrost it to make it usable. A housekeeper came and literally spent hours getting all the ice out of there. Within one week it was freezing over again. The door did not close properly. Needs new frig.
7. Stove too complicated to use for foreigners. Should be some simple instructions provided.
8. Guest above very loud walking -- maybe should be more rugs up there.
9.One big problem which may prevent me from staying there again is the unwillingness/inability of the hotel to confirm the requested lower unit. They just kept saying they can't confirm. I won't stay again without that confirmation.
- Jose (7/5): Good -
- Dawn (8/5): - Loved the location! So close to Rembrandt square and food shopping, dining etc. the building was great. Beds comfortable but the cleaning was definitely lacking! The floor was very dirty and no way to clean it. No broom or any cleaning supplies were there. Had to buy my own paper towels and dish soap. They did come with new towels and picked up the kitchen but you would think they would clean the floors while there especially when there is a pile of dirt that I swept up with a paper into a pile but they didn’t. I would stay there again but would ask for a thorough cleaning. Also there is No where to put your clothes. Only one small wardrobe with one tiny shelf and 4 hangers on it. It was fine, we just lived out of our suitcase but the dirty dusty floor was definitely kinda gross. Everything else was good.
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Winfred (6/5): Serious mosquito problems in the flat - It’s near the tram station which connects to central Amsterdam. And the flat is spacious enough. Good wifi system. The shower is good as well. We’re living on the first floor facing the garden. It’s got some serious mosquito issues over there. I’ve got many mosquito bites after the stay and those mosquitoes were hard to get rid of. They disturbed my sleeping at night.
- Farid (5/5): Everyone seems to have done their best to make our stay positive , thanks! - Location, suite roominess and two bathrooms, staff responsiveness through Booking site via chat Having to check in a different location, the initial deposit process, trash at the front door, noise of construction, underground location was a bit suffocating per American standards
- Robert (6/5): - Could hear every time someone would walk around on the floor above us.
Pillows are too big and uncomfortable
Great location, walking distance to a supermarket and cafes.
Construction next door but wasn’t loud.
If we were to stay here again we wouldn’t stay in the lower level.
- Margie (8/5): Loved this location and our stay!!!! - This is an awesome location -away from Dam but still close (walk up the Amstel) so not the hustle and bustle that can wear on you. We really enjoyed our stay. Our flight was canceled and the staff at the hotel were great to accommodate us too and give great suggestions for keeping 16 year olds entertained. There was unusual heat for two days of our stay and sleeping was a little uncomfortable but getting AC in centrum is unusual we understand.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Great location. Clean. Nice small kitchen. Washer. Loud water pump next to bedroom.
