• Sean (5/5): Great view, old rundown apartments - Location/view was beautiful Unit where owner spends no money to upkeep, No wifi to TV for whole 2 weeks we where there, they said they cant fix it , shower hob overflowed with water, kitchen/fridge etc dirty, ants on benchtops every mornings etc, pool spa not working or heated, and upon checking previous reviews, all these issues have been there for long time, would never stay there again

We could not get them to work. Photos are not necessarilly indicative of the unit type you will get re car port and view.

Our bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet. The whale watching from the gazebo was a great way to begin and end the day. The kitchen pots and utensils were quite worn and difficult to cook with. The table was worn as well, but functional. There was a spa next to the pool, but it was cold and full of leaves. I would have enjoyed spending time if it had been possible.

• Mary-Anne (10/5): Overall an excellent stay and we will be back again in the future and will definitely recommend. - Location was perfect for our needs and the view was simply breathtaking!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom shower was nice and big and even had a small washing machine that allowed us to wash something that we needed to wash urgently so that was a nice bonas. The only thing I can say that was a little annoying was that we were only left with 2 toilet rolls and we have 4 people staying there for 4 night/5 days and had to go out to buy toilet paper as it ran out pretty quickly. My suggestion is allow a roll per day for 4 people.

Of course, this is due to exposure to the salty air, but it is time to fix tracks to help them slide easier.

• Emma (8/5): What an amazing view! - We stayed in unit 7 at the end of the units. The beautiful view was definitely the highlight for us, and the shared outdoor spaces looked well kept. Communication was clear, and check-in was really smooth. The accommodation is run down and quite worn in places.

There is no balcony and the little garden overlooks bathrooms of nearby apartments. There were empty apartments, but we were allocated the worst one.

• Penny (7/5): Good location if you are fit and like walking. - Great view from all windows. Well equipped apartment. Good swimming pool. The property was located at the top of a steep hill and it was quite a walk up and down to the town centre or beach so we used the car. We were in apartment 7 which had the best views but was very windy in the afternoon. There were very limited options for dinner so we had a takeaway.

We experienced the full moon through the lounge room window and main bedroom which was so lovely and sunrise from the balcony. Wifi was pretty bad. Management in process of getting a new router waiting on arrival.

• Alan (9/5): Economical and great views - While older style and showing some wear and tear, the property was excellent value, clean, very well equipped, and with great views over Twofold Bay. 5 minutes walk to Snug Cove and whale watching boats, less to the Twofold Bay lookouts.

Self check in and check out was super easy. Unit was clean and comfortable. Lovely view down to the water. Bathroom blind has some spots that don’t fully close so would have felt more comfortable with a blind that fully shuts.

If I was travelling solo I wouldn't be so picky but I have 2 young children with me and my husband. Felt like maybe the unit was not freshened up prior to our arrival. A few dead spiders around and attracting ants. (If I didn't have 2 young children, it wouldn't bother me) Sheet in the main bedroom cupboard just rolled up, not folded. The shower had a little mould. Overall, our stay was comfortable, and we enjoyed it. Just a few things need to be fixed up and maybe looked into.

The bed should have fitted sheets. My first impression was disappointing. The glass pool fence was replaced with temporary fencing and the spa does not work. The barrbecue was dirty so we didn't use it.

• Jane (6/5): Eden is a nice beachside village. - Location great, staff helpful. The pool and outlook were great. Bbq area welcomed. Remote didn’t work on tv, Foxtel intermittent sound, wifi intermittent, no fan so a bit stuffy with no airflow, dicey position of washing machine powder comp’t, step outside needs railing (steep and slope) - property would be great if a few maintenance checks were done. We had trouble with door lock which eventually broke, staff were quick to have it fixed and were helpful. The above was not of great concern to us but will be to someone.
• Jerry (10/5): Tranquility at your doorstep Your own private callings from oceans waves. Absolutely beautiful. - The view was absolutely stunning. The sound of the oceans waves were very calming and tranquil. The birdlife, butterflies, flowers and the boats sailing by. My favourite was the amazing sunrise from the front porch which was spectaular. View is unquestionable. I am only mentioning the following as I would like to know if I was the owner of the beautiful apartment. These are just a few suggestions should the owner choose he/she wishes to do. Maintenance of the main entries sliding wiredoor by placing new rollers on the bottom and replacing the wire, the main bedroom sliding door requires new rollers on the bottom as well. Maybe at some stage some new carpet would really make the place look divine. These are just small minor things that could make the unit be more totally amazing. My partern and I enjoyed our stay even with these tiny little things. It was well worth it.

Spacious living room and comfortable beds. The swimming pool was great The kitchen could be a bit more modern, but it was never an issue

• Kate (9/5): Wonderful ocean views - We were in unit 7 and the view was spectacular. Check in was super easy and the team were helpful. The kids loved the pool. Basic Accomodation, comfortable and commensurate with the value. It didn’t bother us as we were on Christmas holidays, however. The WiFi didn’t work for the duration of our stay. We have previously stayed in one of the other units and it had a washer dryer combo, this apartment only offers a washer.

• Paola (6/5): Pleasant - We have been to Eagle Heights a couple of times before. We like the location and the tranquility. Unfortunately this will most likely be our last time in Eagle Heights, we were not happy with the facilities this time. we booked for 6 people but had only beds for 5 made. When asked about it the told us to make the extra bed on our own. Although booked for 7 nights some essentials (such as dishwasher pods, toilet paper) only were catered for a 2 / 3 day stay. Previous times they had provided coffee pods, this time we were asked to buy ourselves. Given the high rate, one would have expected better service. Additionally the pool is not heated and it is really cold, would really benefit from heating.

• Natalie (6/5): Comfortable and great location - The property was walking proximity to town and great ocean views from the front & back. Unit 8 - 3 bedroom apartment needs some TLC. Especially the windows & doors seals. They need to be resealed as when it becomes very windy it becomes very loud with shaking and rattling which is annoying causing lack of sleep. The amenities could also do with an update. Eg the pool area should supply more sun lounges for more guests and the spa should actually work.

• Gorkem (3/5): Very disappointed - I have stayed here many times and loved it but this time wasn’t very happy First of all we were stuck outside the property waiting for a locksmith because the door key needed replacing so we got soaked in the storm for ages,then the pool was dirty and closed off and also had tv issues,there should be some type of partial refund because I paid for the pool and ect but wasn’t given any access to it not to mention for two days living in a house where the front door wouldn’t even close.

• Cheryl (7/5): Eden is a lovely place to spend a week unwinding and communing with nature. - The view over Eden's bay from outside Unit 3 was exceptional - the stuff of postcards! We spotted what appeared to minke whales feeding near a headland on multiple occasions. The property's pool was lovely. Eden's Asling Beach proved a must-do walk for us each day we were in Eden - do watch the tide coming in though! Unit 3 is showing its age with workers on-site undertaking repairs on other units. We were stunned to find dowel being used to lock windows, peeling paint in some places, electric blankets that didn't work and spare blankets which were too dirty to use. We found the lack of face-to-face contact with staff for experiences like this one dehumanising.

• Ellen (10/5): Really enjoyed a relaxing holiday in a friendly country town atmosphere. - Very comfortable bed and excellent location, spectacular views, close to town a few mins drive. Excellent walks in the area. You can walk into town if you can walk up hills as it’s worth the views. Pambula Beach 10min drive and Merimbula 20min drive. I recommend Catbalou cruises whilst there for up close views of whales and dolphins.
