• Maryline (10/5): D’un autre temps… 🤩 - Le lieu est magnifique dans une vieille bâtisse au pied du célèbre « Escalier » de Caltagirone. Nous voyageons à vélo et Davide nous a organisé un endroit safe pour les laisser à l’entrée du bâtiment, le tout gratuitement! Restaurants sympathiques pour manger le soir et déjeuner le matin. Nous avons eu énormément de plaisir. Davide nous a également gentiment proposé de l’eau pour nos gourdes le matin du départ, fort appréciable sous ces latitudes. Je recommande vivement 😉

There were four different doors to get into the apartment and initially, there was no explanation of how to get in or out. But then, Davide was very quick and friendly about explaining these things when we expressed our confusion.

• Angelika (10/5): Übernachten im Palazzo - Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer, das nicht nur in warmen Farben eingerichtet, sondern bei den für Mai ungewöhnlich kalten Außentemperaturen angenehm warm und mit einem sehr bequemen Bett ausgestattet war. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, aber ruhig. Davide ist ein freundlicher, aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

• A.C. (10/5): Fantastisch en de tuinen waren heel mooi - De kamer was in een mooi oud gebouw met zuilen. David zeer behulpzaam. Mooie stad met veel oude gebouwen en smalle straatjes. In het centrum en bij veel restaurants. Bereikbaar met auto ingewikkeld, eerst te voet gaan verkennen.

• Guy (10/5): - The guesthouse in a traditional family palazzo (the family itself lives there) is very well priced, and a few meters away from the famous steps and Piazza Municipio. However, what really made my stay was Davide's wonderful hospitality. He helped me find a train to Palermo, and drove me to the train station free of charge! Highly recommended.

• Dunja (10/5): Our stay at the beautiful Palazzo Aprile was exceptionally pleasant! - We liked every single thing, starting from the warm welcome from our wonderful host Davide, then the excitement of exploring the beauty of Caltagirone to the return to a sunny, comfortable, nicely furnished room with ambiance to wish for. All in all, it was a wonderful experience that we will never forget and we really can’t wait to come back. There was nothing that we didn’t like!

As a solo traveling woman I felt very safe here, I even left my luggage with Davide after my checkout while I walked around the city and it was well looked after. They are very quick to help and make you feel welcome. The room was cozy with a nice AC.

• Philippe (10/5): Caltagirone vaut le détour et le palazzo Aprile est parfait. - Très bon emplacement, en centre-ville. La chambre est très propre et bien décoré, dans un beau palazzo. Aucun problème pour les clefs à l'arrivée. L'hôte répond rapidement si on le contacte. De plus, le logement est situé au coeur de la ville qui est magnifique, et Caltagirone est un excellent point de départ pour visiter les environs et la Villa Romana del Casale. Tous les services sont à proximité. Si je voyage une autre fois dans le centre de la Sicile, je reviendrai sans hésiter. Merci encore. Tout était très bien, je n'ai pas noté de point négatif.

Potrei fare una critica sull’ingresso e al portone trasandato e scrostato non è una bella immagine come primo impatto, anche se poi il palazzo ha il suo fascino… direi che le 2 cialde di caffe potrebbero anche essere gratis… le salviette da bagno, sono un po’ vecchie… e slavate

I think different people own different parts of the Palazzo and as a result, the common parts are not well kept.

It’s steeped in architectural antiquity in its original state built in the 1500 and restored in 1690. It’s central, and beautifully kept. The room was simple but in keeping with its historical setting. Davide was warm welcoming and truly amazing as a host. It’s was like I was welcomed home! There is a great restaurant downstairs. For me the whole stay in Caltagirone was amazing. When I return, I will only stay at Palazzo Aprile. Nothing. All was just as it should be in a historical building in the centre on the villsge.

C'est une personne avenante serviable et delicate qui fera tout pour vous faciliter le séjour. L'emplacement est parfait en terme de localisation et possède le charme absolu et surane des palaces. A recommander absolument.

• Kat (10/5): - Ολα ηταν εξαιρετικά! Το δωμάτιο πολύ καθαρό και σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Δεν μπορούμε ομως να μη μιλήσουμε για τους απιστευτους οικοδεσπότες. Ήταν εκεί σε ο,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Μακάρι όλες οι διαμονες να ηταν σαν αυτη. Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
