• 782edoardor (4/5): Disappointing - Where to begin… on the positive side location is beautiful, our room nice and spacious, and personnel is polite and willing to help. All the rest was a disaster. * AC and hot water in our room were not working properly. * Hotel guests are clearly less of a priority vis-a-vis weddings/events. Outdoor bar was privatized and had to call reception twice and wait 15 minutes to have someone come and take our orders. Drinks were atrocious (no ice, no garnish…) and served in plastic cups. Further, had to take the back door and go through the kitchen/catering area to go to dinner as wedding hosts didn’t want hotel guests cross their venue * Food was disappointing. My fish was dry and hard, dessert avarage at best - a first given we are at the heart of Piemonte Overall a highly disappointing experience, only partly mitigated by the work done by the staff - I will not come back

Piscine salle de sport et jacuzzi qui parent en lambeau. Malade après le petit dej - et le resto du soir se veut haut de gamme, il n’en a que le prix (plat de pâtes bolo médiocre à 20€)
• Henric (2/5): - Beautiful exterior, but that’s all. Dated interior from late 90’s diminishing all feelings of entering a castle. The absolute worst is the complementary breakfast. It was absolutely disgusting with unprepared food, no staff present, no butter, no fresh bread, no fresh coffee- just heated food from days before and cakes with old dates, claimed to be home made- still old. Eggs raw poured in a heater to become scrambled eggs, and this is 10 minutes after opening. The worst I have seen to be honest.

We were offered taxis from Torino at €70. Recommend strongly to get your own car

• Jérome (10/5): - Très belle hôtel, mais attention il y a certaines petites choses à revoir notamment au niveau propreté à mon arrivé la chambre n été pas très propre j étais un surpris pareil très compliqué de trouver une personne pour trouver un serveur pour prendre un simple café on dirait qu il un peu de personnel, pour ces petites choses. Ce sont des détails mais qui peuvent avoir de l importance. Mais bon dans l ensemble le personnel et très sympathique et serviable donc je recommande sans souci. Encore pour votre accueil
• Paola (4/5): - La struttura è molto bella anche se in certi punti un po’ datata. Gli spazi comuni sono arredati con poco gusto e piuttosto anonimo. La camera fredda e poco coerente col luogo. Amenities mancanti (no shampoo e doccia schiuma), lenzuola abrasive. Location dedicata a eventi (matrimoni e battesimi) a tal punto che gli ospiti della struttura devono uscire da corridoi sotterranei perché la location non prevede un’accoglienza separata tra gli ospiti del hotel e dell’evento… Lo spazio spa è la piscina lasciano a desiderare. Peccato perché per la location che è basterebbe davvero poco per renderlo un posto speciale.
• H8840OLcarlof (10/5): A Dream-Come-True Wedding Celebration - We had our wedding weekend celebration & got married at Castello di Montaldo. It was by no means an easy wedding to plan & execute (especially within 5 months), but without Ada and her amazing staff, we would not have had the most perfect, fun, delicious, & joyous experience. My husband & I live in Czech Republic, but I am Italian so we decided to get married in my favorite city, Torino. We had guests flying in from the USA & Czech Republic, & many friends & family from the greater Turin area. Ada & Paolo, especially, held our hands from start to finish with professionalism, knowledge, integrity & experience. They work with an amazing professional service staff including Nadia, Manuela, Sara, Abdel, Riccardo, Alice, and so, so many awesome people. From Reception to the Restaurant, we were treated like a royal couple and our guests were catered to and accommodated with optimal care, assistance, & professionalism. The Executive Chef is Piero Caniglia & LITERALLY everything he creates is beyond words. I have lost count how many meals I have eaten there (Enoteca Crotin), but I have never eaten anything that I didn't absolutely love. The food is resplendent. Our wedding menu was perfection & they made sure to satisfy any guests' preferences or food sensitivities. Guests raved about our cake, the location, the beauty & comfort of the rooms, the panorama, the spa, the food, & especially the service. Very clean, spacious, peaceful and the perfect wedding venue because of the hotel. We had approximately 25 guests from the US and 25 from Czechia. Some Italian family also stayed the night of the event. We will definitely return to relax and visit our Castello di Montaldo family. Breakfast was also really amazing - fresh, homemade, and Sara was a joy to see in the morning. We are so grateful to Castello di Montaldo. If you are thinking of a destination wedding with guests from all over, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Solo 2.cose da migliorare: Motor lobby per lasciare le valigie vicino al hotel, altrimenti si deve camminare per lunga strada di pietre che vanno a rovinare pure le ruote e la piscina interna, non si doveva mettere pittura perche si stacca e nel fondo si trova tutti i pezzi pericolosi pure per i bambini oltre a tossici. • wooduck1505 (10/5): How to feel like royalty in 2024! - We had a rotating party of 13-14 guests for the better part of a week. Staying in a 1000 year old castle/fortress with all the current bells, whistles and service was amazing! Food, spa, pools, panoramic bubbly mineral tubs and sauna, and 8 dramatic weddings to entertain the grand-daughters kept us busy between trips into Turin and Cherri! Wonderful memories were made!

Upon arrival, you will find out that the parking lot and the reception are quite far from each other and no one will help you with your suitcases. We were warmly welcomed at the reception and we were given a free upgrade to a suite, which pleased us, but the room was not much. Although the room was very spacious, the equipment was really outdated and not in good condition. The whirlpool in the room was moldy, there was a lack of towels in the room and they were not replenished at the back. On the penultimate day, no one even came to clean the room and change the towels The staff didn't speak much English, but some didn't speak Italian either. The breakfast was very average, rather bad, the coffee never arrived. The indoor pool was very small and there were no hand pools available. no one was available to help you. The outdoor spa was nice. If you wanted to order a drink by the outdoor pool, it was very difficult to get a waiter. The same waiter then served dinners. we had the feeling that he is the only waiter in the whole hotel. We will definitely not return to the hotel, we were really disappointed. What's good - location - 20 minutes by car to Turin.

It looks like someone has popped to IKEA and purchased a lot of modern furniture. The breakfast was good. The gym was quite tired, the pool, sauna and hot tub seemed to be ok.

• Roam01987319880 (2/5): Creepy staff - Castello di Montaldo is a lovely place to spend a weekend with the family, but my stay was ruined by the masseur at the spa. Totally unprofessional, when I arrived for my appointment he was watching a tennis match on his phone and didn't turn it off. I had booked a 25min back and leg massage but the masseur spent most of the time massaging my buttocks which made me extremely uncomfortable. The massage lasted 40min instead of 25min (he took his time...) but it didn't relax me at all. The masseur's name was Pier, don't book anything with him !!!!
• L7691RRrainerk (10/5): A top experience! - One has to be aware to stay in a building that is not less than 1000 years old(!). However, none of the things that make a stay incredibly beautiful is missing. We enjoyed every second, from dawn ‘til dusk and from dusk ‘til dawn. It starts with a nice breakfast where …(her name follows – I can’t find the piece of paper, where it is written… ;-) …) serves an excellent Italian coffee. During the day, the Piemonte region invites for activities and the nearby city of Torino wants to be explored. The hotel’s restaurant is formidable, and the spa area is state-of-the-art (one of the highlights: outdoor sauna with a window, overseeing the landscape and furnished with a real wood oven) – with excellent treatments (specifically to mention: massages by Michela and Enzo). If something shall be corrected or if there is a question, the reception desk is always there with extremely nice staff.

Breakfast had a couple savory options,if you want salmonella. The eggs sit there from begining to the end of the breakfast service. Tvs in the suite dont work, the only solution provided was new batteries to the remote. Tried to speak to management for 3 days straight but somehow he was always on meetings. Still waiting for the promised call back.

Ricca colazione. Approccio formale e riservato che può apparire distaccato e spersonalizzato. Abbiamo alloggiato più notti infrasettimana godendo della tranquillità, probabilmente nel fine settimana ci sono più presenze anche esterne. Bella esperienza.

Appena arrivati ci ritroviamo in una camera con tv non funzionante e un fazzoletto utilizzato sul pavimento adiacente al letto, chiediamo lo spostamento di camera e gentilmente ci viene fornito. Piscina riscaldata molto bella peccato per l'ambiente gelido visto che nella sala era presente una finestra rotta e non chiusa ma bensì senza l'anta rotta. Nei servizi inclusa anche sauna che ovviamente invece era scollegata e non funzionante. Colazione un po' alla rinfusa, tanta scelta ma molto poco invitante. Diciamo che per il prezzo pagato ci si aspetta molto di più.

• Marcel (8/5): Schöne Location - Service jedoch nicht 4 Sterne - Das Castello liegt wunderschön und die Zimmer sind sehr schön gemacht (modern). Leider liess der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig. In der Enoteca abends sehr lange gewartet bis zu Bestellung, unser Essen wurde xmal durchs Restaurant getragen und wieder nach hinten gebracht, weil sie nicht mehr wussten wer dies bestellt hat. Morgenessen (Rührei) war kalt, der Wärmebehälter war gar nicht angeschlossen, uvm. Das Servicepersonal ungeschult und überfordert. Leider !
• Margit (6/5): - Das Hotelhat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, der Aussenbereich war ungepflegt, Sitzgelegenheiten ohne Sitzgelegenheiten und schmutzig. Die Bar ist im Innenbereich abgewohnt und oftmals geschlossen. Ein Aperitivo wurde angepriesen, aber es gab nur ein paar Chips und Nüsse. Im Restaurant sprach kaum jemand Englisch, der. Service war unaufmerksam und eines 3 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig. die Zimmer waren äußerlich ok, aber Sauberkeit war nur Oberfläche. Staubflusen und den Ecken und die Regalbretter im Ankleidebereich waren nur bis zur Sichthöhe sauber. Definitiv kein 4 Sternehotel, ich kann es in diesem Preissegment nicht weiterempfehlen.

• Brian (6/5): Loud wedding venue with rooms. - It looks nice from the outside but the quality isn’t there. The spa is a bit old, didn’t look super clean, outdoor tubs not hot. There are constantly weddings blasting Enrique Iglesias until midnight, even on a Monday. Design is very “Ukrainian oligarch realness.” Ordered room service and it never came, had to go to the front desk twice to inquire. To their credit, breakfast was fine. This is not a hotel, it’s a wedding venue with rooms.

• danilo (8/5): Un po' di cose da sistemare - Asciugacapelli non funzionante, stanza attaccata all'ascensore di servizio (quindi si sentiva un po' di casino), bagno doccia toglierei il miscelatore a doccino e migliorerei questo aspetto, sala buffet colazioni assolutamente non al livello della struttura. Per il resto location favolosa e romantica
