• Stéphanie (9/5): Un bel appartement avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. - La vue de la chambre était incroyable. L’appartement est spacieux et très agréable. Si on ne veut pas aller trop loin pour manger il y a un restaurant juste en dessous. Dommage que le port soit en travaux, nous avons dû prendre la voiture pour aller à Menaggio pour prendre le bac.

Dodatkowo z apartamentu jest blisko do portu skąd można dopłynąć do innych miejscowości. Przystanek autobusowy jest praktycznie naprzeciwko lokum. Zimno, pobyt odbyliśmy pod koniec marca. Temperatura powietrza spadała w nocy do 4`C na dworze, kaloryfery słabo grzały. Termostat pod prysznicem wyregulowany tak, że leci bardzo gorąca woda by po minucie leciała lodowata. Ekspres do kawy był, ale nie dało się z niego skorzystać bo nie miał wkładów papierowych. Kawy też nie było. Tv był wielkości pocztówki, który i tak nie działał. Duża nie doprana plama na kołdrze, prawdopodobnie po kawie. Za ten apartament płaci się tylko za widok z okna. Resztę bym porównał do hotelu 2,5 gwiazdkowego.

• Voice Of Truth (10/5): Great view, close to ferry and bus stations, but road is busy - + clean (much better than I expected) + the lake view is real + self check-in + the 110 bus stop is just around the corner + there's a small grocery store nearby + I didn't hear any of the neighbors - the sound insulation is solid + dishwasher - would be good to have a bit more toilet paper haha - unfortunately, the Cadenabbia ferry terminal was closed for maintenance during our visit, which made transportation a bit more complicated, but the 110 bus is reliable (even when it was delayed by 10 minutes, another bus departing from Menaggio waited for it) - it's a bit of a controversial opinion, but because the road runs so close to the lake, it's hard to fully relax almost anywhere close to that road; for that, the northern part of the lake might be a better choice

There were COCKROACHES in the apartment. We told the host, but he did not respond to our concern. The pillows and bed were not comfortable. Lighting was inadequate.

Some curtains would be better to keep light out. Only one pillow each, would be better if more pillows were provided for the bed.

Les lits sont de qualité et on y dort très bien. Il y a un petit balcon fort agréable. Il y a une route passante mais qui ne donne pas sur les chambres dc on dort au calme. Il y a un parking gratuit à 2 min à pieds, l embarcadère pour bellagio à 3 min a pieds. Des restos, un Café juste en bas de l immeuble. Bref appartement ideal pour visiter le lac de come. Rien

(10/5): Perfecto para desconectar y alejarse del bullicio - El apartamento es perfecto, es cómodo y tiene buenas vistas, está a 10 min en ferry de bellagio y la zona es muy tranquila, algo que se agradece mucho en vacaciones. Me hubiese gustado que la habitación tuviese más luz, la lámpara del techo no ilumina mucho y la ventana da a un patio interior.

Vue imprenable sur le lac de Come et Bellagio. Bonne isolation phonique qui permet de ne pas entendre la route qui passe au pied de l’immeuble. Bon suivi de la part du loueur Cadeau de bienvenue apprécié. Offre de réduction de 10% du bar Vittoria pour les clients de l’appartement (mais voir les points négatifs...) Emplacement a 2 pas de la Villa Carlotta et du ferry pour Bellagio et autres Enregistrement en ligne excessif avec téléchargement carte identité et selfie pour le locataire et le conjoint qui ouvre la porte a un potentiel piratage de données pour usurpation d’identité. Long contrat de location rédigé en italien qui ne permet pas de savoir aisement ce que l’on signe. Pas de remise de 10% sur notre repas pris le soir meme au bar Vittoria... on y est donc aller qu’une seule fois.

The host was very responsive via email and WhatsApp, and good eating locations within easy walking distance. I felt that the apartment could have had more information on how to use the various facilities eg the tv, the boiler etc. Also somewhat lacking in local attractions and conveniences eg, the closest supermarket, the bus timetable etc

Piękny widok z balkonu, bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko promu, w pobliżu znajduje się także przystanek autobusowy, więc jeśli ktoś nie ma auta, to autobusem może dojechać do każdego miasteczka po tej stronie jeziora. Pierwszego wieczoru mały problem z przytkanym odpływem pod prysznicem, ale już na drugi dzień wszystko wróciło do normy.

• Mum 66 (7/5): bel appart vue sur le lac - Bel appartement spacieux avec une belle terrasse proche de l embarcadère pour la ville de bellaggio - Vue sur le lac - proche de restaurants et petite plage de galets pas trop loin - terrasse équipée de transat et parasol - une bouteille de vin local vous est offerte a votre arrivée Il n est pas précisé que la terrasse donne sur le lac mais surtout sur la route mais heureusement les chambres sont sur l arrière - le point négatif a été la remise des clefs - notre hôte donne un lieu de rendez vous dans un restaurant au bas de l appartement - une personne présente (pendant les horaires d ouverture) vous indique ou trouver les clefs très sommairement - il m a fallu insister fortement pour que ce jeune homme nous accompagne - les boites a clefs sont dans une petite allée sans éclairage - les codes ne correspondaient hélas pas et il nous a fallu attendre une heure que le monsieur du ménage vienne nous ouvrir avec sa propre clef - heureusement que nous sommes arrives dans un horaire facile - c etait peut etre juste un incident mais a l avenir j éviterai les boites a clefs
• Jordan (2/5): A stunning view, but let down by outdated facilities, lack of basic amenities, and poor guest support. - The view and location While the view from this apartment is undoubtedly stunning and easily the highlight of the stay, unfortunately, the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. The apartment is very outdated and lacks basic comfort features—most notably, air conditioning. Only two small fans were provided, which barely circulated air, making it extremely difficult to sleep in the middle of summer. I reached out about this and was told someone would “speak to the owners,” but this didn’t inspire much confidence—especially as the brochure stated hosts would be available for any issues, which wasn’t the case in our experience. There were also several basic amenities missing. For four guests over two nights, we were provided only one toilet roll, one towel per person, and one pillow each. When we requested more toilet paper, we received no response and had to go out and purchase our own. If you want any extras like additional towels or pillows, you’re expected to pay. As someone who rarely complains and relies heavily on reviews when booking, I feel it’s important to share this feedback. We’ve been travelling Italy for three weeks using Booking.com and, sadly, this was the most disappointing stay—especially considering the location and potential of the property in such a beautiful part of Lake Como.

• Ana (5/5): Passable - Room had NO AIR CONDITIONER but apartment was spacious with gorgeous views. Luckily it was a little cooler in Lake Como but was totally surprised by that. In July they only had one fan in each room that were small. Asked for more fans but they didn't have. No fan on living room. Kitchen had coffee and tea maker but no coffee or tea. Dishes were left in dishwasher. No extra towels or toilet paper rolls. Restaurant under, Rodrigo's had good food and restaurant across had helpful staff helping us get taxi's and had cute atmosphere. Room was disappointing. host was not very helpful and no air. FRoom was not equiped with much. Below minimum. Shower was tiny no place for soap. No extra toilet paper or any kitchen supplies. Not one tea bag, nothing and no markets near by to get what you need.
• Irena (10/5): Excellent location, direct lake view, clean, spacious - We absolutely loved the place. It’s located directly across from the lake with an amazing view from the terrace. The place was very clean and spacious for Italy. Communication with the host was very easy and helpful. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to others.
• Grabitz (10/5): Great spot, perfect location, amazing view! - The stay at the Airbnb was very good. the communication before was fast and easy, the keys to the apartment were stored in a lockbox with a code, so very easy entry. the apartment was clean, beds super comfortable and it had everything you needed. 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 singles and one double, so perfect for 4 people, small living room, kitchen and one bathroom. the view from the terrace was just breathtaking, right at the lake. I would definitely come back and stay there again. one small light in the kitchen was not working, but was taken care of. the apartment is right next to the main street, so there is some traffic during the day and early evening. but with earplugs it's fine. overall nothing to complain.

• Philip (10/5): Having previously stayed in Bellagio and Varenna, it is 90% less crowded. - The interior arrangement was perfect for 2 couples even with 1 bathroom. The deck was awesome for both morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Location great as ferry was an easy walk. Importantly, it is 90% less crowded than Varenna and Bellagio. Very small suggestions: The light in the kitchen/cooking area needs to be brighter and we could not find the dustpans.

The convenience of the location (bus stop at the door, ferry very nearby), bed comfortable and good size. Good soundproofing. The cleaning and maintenance of the place could be better. The terrace was not clean at all. The inside was clean-ish but not to very high standards. The bathroom (mainly the shower) had a funny smell. A bit run down in some areas, could do with some TLC. They do not provide cots so needed to travel with ours which made it harder. The hot water did not work one day and despite we got it sorted the host took a while to reply which meant we needed to adjust our plans. The location is convenient but not a lot around it without a bit of a walk.

• N (9/5): Beautiful location, lovely apartment, but no air conditioning! - The location was amazing and our terrace had an absolutely gorgeous view! The staff was very kind and helpful as well with getting to the location and answering any questions! No air conditioning! This was the only complaint we had, we were VERY hot every night and it was impossible to sleep with covers on. We went in August, which is also one of the hottest months in general!

Nearby it was a supermarket and across the street a very nice restaurant and pizzeria. The bus station is nearby. And the apartment's terrace has an extraordinary view to the lake, just beautiful. The accommodation was just great. Just be careful with planning and the buses :)

Beds comfortable and lovely linen. Small galley kitchen with plenty of plates and glasses and dishwasher! Clean, modern and functional bathroom! Fans greatly appreciated during the warms days! Nice local restaurants just downstairs! Close to bus stop and ferry terminals! Great communication from Marco about location, parking, and how to access lockbox for key entry etc! Road traffic a bit noisy at night with windows open to allow cool air circulation after very warm days.

• Balaji (7/5): Nice location apartment right at the lake - Beds were comfortable and linen was clean Bathroom was good with sufficient hot water Apartment was renovated, but lobby area seems old. No lift. Apartment is well located within 5 min walk.of cadenabbia and villa Carlotta ferry stops. Regular ferries from cadenabbia to Bellagio every 30 min and other ferry from villa Carlotta to Bellagio/ Menaggio/ Varenna/ bellano Bus stop for bus c10 is a few steps away, but that bus is irregular as with most public transport in Italy. View of the lake is mainly from the terrace. Not useful in rainy weather as it was when we stayed there. Furniture is also oddly positioned in living room that we don't really enjoy a good view of the lake which is immediately outside. Kitchenette is small and equipped, but too many plates and glasses. These could be reduced. Bedrooms didn't have any view at all, they are in the back. The bigger room was adequate, but the smaller room is very compact. There are 2 proper comfortable single beds though, which is a positive. Unlike other places which offer sofa beds

• Lisa (8/5): Perfect position to explore Lake Como - The property is on a fantastic spot and we enjoyed the use of the balcony overlooking the water to Bellagio. The two closest restaurants were very good even if a tad expensive. We did the Greenways hike which meant the position is perfect. It’s also a bit quieter on this side so we appreciated that. If you are a morning coffee lover it’s a challenge- cafes don’t open until 7 and they are a good 5-10 min walk away and there is no coffee or tea provided. We needed to keep the doors open all the time as I think it has previously been a smoking room. Bit smelly when you walk in. This didn’t effect our overall stay. We had a lovely time

The host left us a book of all the best restaurants, attractions, numbers to use, and common asked questions which was beyond helpful! I wish the property had aircon, especially in the hot months it was very warm!
• Rick (9/5): Superb - The location was convenient - near the lake and ferry It was ridiculous to say we had to pick up the key at X time. We stopped doing something very important to drive like mad to be there at the right time - but, we could have arrived a couple of hours later with no problem. The keys were where they were supposed to be!
• Leza (2/5): Miserable with no ac during hot summer. Probably lovely during cooler times. - I was under the impression I was booking a HOTEL from Priceline and not an apartment from booking.com. There was NO ac which was not advertised either. My husband became Ill overnight due to the heat. The fan provided was disgusting and I have the photos to share. Not falsely advertised the property as a “suite”, advertise that there was no AC and there was supposed to be Wi-Fi which there wasn’t.

• Anonymous (10/5): Brilliant, will be back 100% - Amazing location, close to local amenities. Lovely Restaurant downstairs across the road served breakfast lunch and dinner. Local transport (ferries/bus) very close and easy to use. The c10 bus from como train station drops you right outside the apartment. Apartment itself had useful additions like scissors, iron etc. The view and setting was gorgeous. Only 10 walking distance of Tremezzo town. Buses are free if only on for a few stops. Marco very helpful and responsive host on WhatsApp and made sure we had all we needed. Brilliant place, will be back 100%. Bed was a little uncomfortable and no aircon.
• Greg (7/5): Great Location. Needs air conditioning in the increasingly hotter summers. - Great views of the lake. Plenty of restaurants and basic amenities nearby. Comfortable bed and seating facilities. No air conditioning and the fan supplied struggled to keep us comfortable on the hot nights. Very narrow footpath outside (common in the area) and we were abused by a neighbour whose verandah adjoins the narrow footpath that we were not aware was Private Property. Be wary of the ferry timetable from Varenna-Esino. Does not take you to Cadenabbia in the afternoon. We had along uncomfortable walk from next village of Tremezzo when we arrived in Varenna around 2pm.
• Koba (6/5): Pleasant - Good location! free parking nearby - need to be lucky to find a spot although.. NO AC - BEWARE in the summer! it's getting pretty hot! The hair dryer is very dirty - my wife couldn't use it!
• Polly (8/5): A beautiful stay in Griante, perfect location and space to enjoy lakeside views and time here. - The property was in an excellent location on lake Como. Really easy to access the ferry across the lake. The property also was spacious and had an amazing balcony. The property got very hot during the day and could be improved with better air conditioning.

• Otso (8/5): A nice stay in a good location with a gorgeous terrace lake view - Great location, nice apartment, easy check in and check out, and would recommend going for apartment one with the terrace. Total game changer. As pointed out by other reviewers, the bed is quite uncomfortable and two single mattresses pushed together instead of a double wasn’t ideal. At the very least the hosts should get a firmer mattress topper to place across both for comfort and support.
• Brian (8/5): Excellent value for money, amazing view, bring your own soap and earplugs - Incredible lake view, a few steps from ferry stop “Cadenabbia-Traghetto”, modern renovation. Excellent value for money - half the price of a comparable 3* hotel. No shower gel soap or shampoo provided, Noise from the busy road, no airco so hot, and (sadly, the problem everywhere in Lake Como) - impossible to relax and enjoy a lakeside walk because of irregular sidewalks and speeding vehicles on the one narrow road

• Jerseyguy (7/5): Caddenabbia stay - The location and ease of checking in. Marco was very helpful and everything for arrival was easy. He checked to make sure we gained access to the self check-in accommodation. Lighting in the kitchen could be improved Air conditioning and fans would be a great addition for comfort.
• Song (7/5): Excellent Location, Poor Facilities. - the location is super with waling distances to ferry piers. Bus C10 running right in front of the property connecting towns on this side of the late to Como town. Most beautiful villas are around this area with easy access by boats to Bellagio and Varrena. There are restaurants and small shops nearby. But for shopping of food and veg etc. one needs to go further to larger towns. Views of the lake is nice from the small bacony with a small table and chairs. Nice place to have meals and drinks. A 30 Euros of late check in fee is payable by cash for checking after 20:00. Somebody has to be arranged after that time to help access the property. But the key was already stored in a keybox at the entrance that guest can earily be sent a passcode and take the key themselves with little help from the property carer. Nothing to explain thoguh in the appartment. So it is not necessary to make special arrangement for keys. Facilities are old, clothe cabinet smells, kitchen hood does not work, no tissues on dinning table, no washing goods holder in the shower box and it flooded when taking shower. There are rolls of dust blew out of under bed throughout our stay. The old TV is as not more than 15" in size taking up spaces only. For a 4-day stay we were given one full and 1/4 toilet rolls which were running out on the 2nd day. We conntacted Marco, the property manager, for help and we were told the cleaning lady was not working the other day. We were panicing as only a few inches of toilet paper left before refilling on the 3rd day. One restaurant nearby played loud music during day and till late in the evening. On our last day, lighting on public area were broken down that we had to walk in the dark, WIFI was also down probably due to this power failure. Nothing was done to restore internet access that we had to use expensive mobile data.
• Zivile (10/5): Proactive hosts and great place to stay - The property was cool descpite warm weather, close to touristical spots
• Courtsaus (9/5): Superb - Great views and convenient location. Close to shops and restaurants. It was a beautiful spot. The kitchen had basic cooking equipment and oil, salt and coffee. Would stay again. The bed and bedding was basic (could have used a fresh quilt cover). It was also very dusty when we moved the lounge chairs.
