• Hsiu Ling (8/5): 自駕者享受安靜住宿的好地方 - 位於西表島北部區域，距離兩個主要港口各30分鐘的車程，附近沒有任何店家或餐廳，若無交通工具出入較不方便，但也因為這樣更是一個適合純度假，看海、發呆的好地方。 獨棟式寬敞的住宿加上開闊的落地窗跟戶外座椅區，保有最佳的看海視野跟個人隱私。內部裝設不如新但維護的還不錯，室內清潔度還可以。在這住了四晚訂了包含早晚餐的住宿方案，早餐菜色沒改變，不過每晚的主菜都有變化、食物美味擺盤用心，食物的份量剛好，酒水飲料需單點退房時再一併結算費用。 雖然服務人員的英文溝通略有困難，但不論是櫃檯人員或是餐廳的服務人員都盡力的協助，給予我這個不懂日語的外國人很多的幫助、讓人感到友善且溫暖。我覺得這裡最棒的是清晨推開窗戶就可欣賞日出從海面升起，坐在戶外區的座椅看著湛藍的海洋、聽著蟲鳴鳥叫更是ㄧ大樂事。若再來西表島仍會將此地列為住宿優先選擇。

• Seth (9/5): A comfortable place to stay on a beautiful island with friendly staff but limited infrastructure and language other than - This property is difficult to rate as there we both positives and negatives. The staff was very friendly. The only problem I had with them was they wouldn’t pick me up from the ferry terminal at the time of my intended arrival, and taking the bus was inconvenient. They did drive me back at the end of my stay. They were friendly but few spoke anything but Japanese. The best English speaker was, surprisingly, the chef, who spent time in Switzerland. In that note, the food was excellent and resembled a tasting menu. The grounds were beautiful, but the rooms ordinary. Few activities were available and most would only accept cash, which was in short supply with no ATM. The hotel served breakfast and dinner (half-board) but there was no food available for lunch.
• Laura (10/5): Eco Village: Tranquility, Taste, and Tropical Beauty - Our weekend stay at Eco Village in Iriomote was delightful. The beachfront bungalow was clean, comfortable and cozy with stunning views of the ocean. Although we were not able to schedule a tour, we hiked into the jungle to stretch our legs and seek out the elusive Iriomote cat. However by far, the highlight of our stay was the exquisite cooking. We opted for the dinner and breakfast plan and were awed by the chef’s culinary talents. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the free shuttle service from the port and the on-site laundry facilities. I highly recommend Eco Village for your next stay in Iriomote. It is a safe, peaceful refuge where family and friends can gather to enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff and natural beauty of the island. You will be enchanted
• Marie (1/5): Horrible - Nothing. Unless food was not so bad. The team was terrible. So bad with foreigners and kids. It was our worst expérience. They did not bring back to the pier. The worst we forgot a bag at the hôtel and They refuse to bring back to us unless there is 4 bis a day. We miss out ferry and spend the all day in the pier du to their bad mind. We paid 2 rooms for 2 people. 500€ per night. They did not want the kids to stay and refuse to serve them food. Finally they have made the bed. The room was awfull. Smell bad and very very very dirty. Furthermore we have wait 2 hours with 2 kids without the opportunity to leave the min the swimming pool After a 12 hours journey ! Feel like they do not like foreigners and Even customer! DO NOT GO

• Andreas (4/5): Price/Value ratio bad - Room very small, JPY 22,400 for 2 with b.f is very overpriced. Without a car you are stuck, b.f only served until 8:00 AM. Dinner only available upon reservation until 7:00 PM and costs JPY 4,000 per person which makes your stay very expensive, if you have no rental car to go out and you have to order meals at the hotel. Pool is small but nice but beach is full of litter and as a pebble beach not very attractive for a swim. If you want to have it very quiet, it's great as there is nothing around you for at least 2 km either way.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Will not recommend to friend - We booked 2 rooms. The smaller room has its sewer flushing every 10 minutes at night without any person using it. The night chef was working above and you could hear the sound of foot step above. Food was the best here. Staff is quite helpful. The beach here is dirty esp during high tide. Very remote, very far from town. We paid more than 100k Yen which is the same as an Intercontinental Hotel in Ishigaki.
• Ioganthesaint (6/5): - Hotel is well designed stylistically but a little 'spartan' - it would not contradict the 'eco' concept to maybe add a couple of pictures on the wall, some reading lights, etc, to make a little cozy. Otherwise, generous space (in our 'villa' room) just contributed to echoing our voices from bare walls. I would not mind also a couple of extra pillows or at least making a single one a little thicker. Cottages are almost literally on the beach but mercifully slightly above it so you can't see all the terrible litter on it. Most of the beaches on the east side of the island (facing China) present a piles of litter. I get it, its all brought in by tides and typhoons, but is it a reason to live in a piles of garbage? At list resort beach is not too large - is it impossible to spend some time on cleaning it up once in a while? Same east side in nearby Japan proper is clean. Despite the same typhoons and tides. Pity. Staff wants to be helpful but does not speak English - can't really blame them, their home is Okinawa, not US or GB. But understanding that does not make it easier for foreigners. The ubiquitous these days and virtually 'a must' wifi is not available in the rooms (? strange), only in the foyer. Since there is no cell signal, either, that was quite inconvenient Still, despite some odds and inconveniences, the stay there was sufficiently good - clean, relatively quiet place with large rooms. I would not probably stay in less then 'villa' rooms. Also,car is a must here. .
• Verified traveler (8/5): A little remote but you get total tranquility - This resort is about 30min drive from wither Ohara or Uehara port. Suggest you to rent a car to get to the resort and also explore the island, there are only 4 buses a day and very few taxi. The resort is quite well maintained with good Japanese style breakfast. They also offer Japanese set dinner, in case you dont want to drive 30 minutes for your evening meal. The pool is nice and there is a private beach right besides, though a bit rocky. Staff there doesn't speak much English but they try their best to help you. Free parking is offered, also free transfer to/from Ohara port (need reservation). Its nice for couple to stay and just enjoy the quietness of the surroundings and the bright starry sky at night. Just note that there is no shop or restaurant around within walking distance.
