Guest Reviews
- Dorothee (10/5): - Sehr freundliche Gastgeber!
- Richard (10/5): - This is a large 3 story farm house built shortly after WW 1. Classic "old wood" B&B with excellent, totally modern en-suite shower and twin sinks. Shared toilet. Multilingual morning pitit-dejeuner facilitated by the owner - very enertaining if you are willing to particpate.
- Ann (10/5): - Very nice hosts who were very helpful and provided a nice breajfast for 5€《
- Eric (10/5): - Excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Vriendelijkheid goed, service goed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No air conditioning, no toilet, very hard bed, noisy floors, you can hear everything in the house, poor security (universal skeleton keys) window barely cracks open, no smoke detectors and it's an ancient house. I'm very unhappy for the price. I was very tempted to just sleep in the car. Plus side the owners were friendly but it felt awkward as they live in the house. And the bathroom without a toilet was nicely remodeled. Nothing fancy about the location. Their are several hotels closer to the center. I'm just very upset I had to pay to sweat in my sleep. I wish I didn't pay up front or I would've went elsewhere.
Fahrrad in Garage einschließbar.
- Elin (8/5): - Very friendly hosts.
- Rebecca (8/5): - A pleasing experience in this home. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to hear from them about the history of Verdun and also their family experiences.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Family-run B-and-B style hotel - Old family home converted into a hotel. More like a B and B than a hotel. I stayed in the attic/loft which was very hot and had a shared shower and toilet but its own washbasin and mirror. All of which were nicely decorated and in top condition. Family are friendly and accommodating and mostly speak good English. Located in a quiet suburban street not too far from the historic centre. Breakfast was a fine, individual continental petit dejeneur at a perfectly reasonable extra cost. Payment is cash only.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place to stop over night on our way South
- Verified traveler (8/5): Charming home about 10 min walk from downtown - This is a family owned home, about 10 minutes walk from downtown Verdun. The family that owns the property is extremely nice and helpful, and their son speaks fluent English so he was able to help us navigate the process. For the cost, it was a decent property given that most of the hotels in the area are over $100 a night. Expectations are important, and just know that he will be sharing a toilet in the hallway for some Of the rooms, and ours had a shared sink/shower area which was very tiny. We are talking about a very old home that is also very charming. I did not mind it and others might not as well, but as I said, it is about expectations and what you want your vacation to be. I would stay there again because the people were so nice and the price was right.
- Anne (10/5): Nice B&B near WWI fields.
- Host very friendly.
Very good continental breakfast: the bread was excellent.
