The room was very comfortable with everything you need including a selection of teas & coffee with fresh milk in the fridge and even homemade cake. Can’t fault it. Five Stars.

- Sandra (10/5): - Great little B&B. Host Chris very pleasant & friendly. Room lovely, nice little touches in room, homemade cake, biscuits, fruit teas, ground coffee & cafeteria fridge with fresh milk & drinking water. Great choice of cooked breakfast alongside freshly prepared fruit, cereals, fresh bread & cake.
Don't be put off by the appearance of the outside, front garden a wee bit overground inside immaculate.
- NICOLAS (10/5): Highly Recommended for an IOW gateway - Beautiful room and lovely owners, they also put cookies, cake, water, tea/coffee in the room which was great. The room is super spacious with an extension and a bathroom. Great choice of different breakfast options.
- wendy (10/5): - 5 star ! Breakfast was amazing. Exceptional host. Would certainly return & highly recommend!
- Jonathan (10/5): First class hospitality at No 29! - A truly exceptional place to stay... can't fault it at all! Chris and Luke make you feel so welcome, the room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed and No29 is perfectly situated, a couple of minutes walk from the station and main bus routes, with easy walks to the town centre, the beach and Shanklin Old Village. Homemade cakes and a superb breakfast too! Very much hope to go back!
- Belinda (10/5): - Wonderful bed and breakfast near train station, village and beach! Great hearty breakfasts.
- Andrew (10/5): - Chrissy was a fantastic host. Our room was well equipped - comfortable bed, powerful shower and a fridge.
Spotlessly clean and a very good breakfast offering too.
(Added bonus of seeing a family of town foxes that visit 29's garden in the evening!)
- Federica (10/5): - We have a superb stay at Number 29!!! The double room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was great with different delicious options to choose from. Christine and Luke are good host and enchanting people!
- Melanie (10/5): Number29 - May 2024 - A very clean and comfortable room and very enjoyable stay in what can be described as a home away from home. Chris and Luke looked after myself and my friends very well and ensured we were happy at all times. I had the smallest room which was still very comfortable with all the same amenities as the other rooms. My friends rooms were larger with one having a direct view across Shanklin to the sea. A wonderful breakfast was prepared for us every morning at times that suited us too. We will definitely be returning to Number29 for our next Isle of Wight trip. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
- David (10/5): Great little B & B. - Tastefully modernised traditional bed and breakfast. Chris was a great host. Bed comfortable and we enjoyed excellent nights sleep. Locally sourced breakfast. Well cooked and very flavoursome.
- Jeremy (10/5): Excellent Weekend - We stayed in Room 1 which has a lovely sea view. Breakfast was exceptionally good with plenty of choices. The room has lots of extra features such as a real coffee and lemon drizzle cake. The bedding and towels were great quality. Christine was charming and very helpful with local information. The property is about 15 mins from the sea front and about 10 minutes to the old village which has lots of food choices.
- Paul (10/5): Number 29 - I had a very nice room and you had a wide choice for breakfast which was always very nice. The host Christine was a lovely lady who was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend Number 29 to anybody..
- Linda (10/5): - Good location in a quiet area. The room was spacious and clean, and everything you needed was provided for you. Great breakfast, with plenty of choice. All the little touches make this a great place to stay. Would highly recommend it.
- Jane (10/5): - We were very comfortable and the property was immaculate. Chris and her son Luke provided every home from home facilities and a wonderful breakfast. Evening dining is available on the Esplanade but not really suitable for the less able although there is a lift a short walk away.
- Michael (10/5): - Lovely accommodation, close to station .clean throughout .excellent host and breakfast .
- Stephen (8/5): - Freshly cooked breakfasts, fresh fruits, cafetiere coffee not forgetting the home baked bread.
Fresh milk & fresh coffee in your room.
Very comfy bed. Quiet location not far from the sea.
- Christine (10/5): Our stat at Number 29 - We had a lovely stay with Christine and Luke...Lovely room ...Every thing was perfect...Breakfast excellent
- Simon (10/5): Great few days in Shanklin - Good location and very hospitable host. Close to the front and to Shanklin town. Good breakfast, don't usually have toast but the owner makes her own bread which was very nice. Only minor complaint is that we'd get woken up by a neighbour's dog barking each morning around 7, and couldn't shut the windows due to the summer heat.
- Susan (10/5): Lovely b&b - Lovely little b&b, friendly owners, good breakfasts, clean rooms. Quiet location but near enough to walk to Shanklin Old Village for attractions and eating out.
- Clarissa (10/5): Rainy night on the Isle of Wight! - Warm welcome and lovely breakfast
- Mike (10/5): Lovely B&B, recommended - Lovely one night stay at No 29, Chris is a charming host, the room was clean and fresh and we had a super cooked breakfast on Sunday. We're happy to recommend!
