- Peter (9/5): - Warm welcome from the resident family, clean, comfortable room and had a great night's sleep. Had a walk of about a mile to the local pub for an evening meal so reasonably handy, of course not an issue for anyone arriving by car.

- Abhishek (10/5): -
- Maria Teresa (10/5): Excellent place, lovely owners, great breakfast and good location to visit Lancaster uni. - Excellent breakfast. Good location, road a bit busy though. Wonderful, clean room and modern ensuite. Not that I disliked it, but I prefer firm mattresses, a personal choice for my back, and this one was a bit on the soft side.
- Ken & Mike (9/5): -

- Andrew (9/5): Very nice with excellent hosts who were very welcoming. - Lovely farmhouse in a quiet rural setting, between Preston and Lancaster. Excellent breakfast served by the very nice couple who run the establishment. Our one little point, our room was quite small for the price maybe we would have wanted something a little larger.
- Mrs Clarissa (8/5): Well organised b&b in pretty countryside. - Well designed accommodation, lounge available and separate dining room. Really excellent breakfast and friendly hosts. Good pub /restaurant for dinner not far away. Bed a bit firm for us, but lots of people prefer that to be fair.

- Joanne (10/5): Home from home - Hosts lovely, very warm welcome, room spotless with great facilities, breakfast delicious, paid for early check in which was perfect for us to get ready for a wedding. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Helen (8/5): - The description is not correct as it says there is a bar/ lounge with food available . There is a lounge but no food or drink except for breakfast.
Breakfast is served from 8.00 which is not much use if you are working or have an early start.

Tasty fresh breakfast
Easy to get into Lancaster. Nothing
- Martine (8/5): Very good - Very clean, friendly, helpful. Road Traffic noise
- Riley (7/5): 1 night stay. - The room was clean and pleasant, with a lovely view. Nice breakfast. The advert is very misleading. We looked at the pictures, some of which showed a garden area with chairs. We booked this property purely on the basis that we could sit outside.
Unfortunately, this was not the case, we were very disappointed.
Although the bathroom was nice. The toilet was very low, with the space being tight, not the easiest to use. Especially if you have some mobility issues.
- Dr (10/5): Exceptional -
- chris (10/5): - The accomodation was exceptional. Excellent location and perfect for visiting Lancaster University.
- Melanie (10/5): Great stay- clean, comfortable and delicious breakfast - The property was in a perfect location for us as we were attending an event in Cockerham. - Charles (9/5): Very friendly hosts. Likely to stay there again if there is room. - The breakfast was very good. There was an excellent selection. the bed was very comfortable and the shower was as powerful as you would expect without it being power shower. Nothing at all

Rooms were clean, warm and in good condition.
Breakfast was pretty special, freshly made to order.
Biscuits in the room were very nice, gutted I only ate one lol.
- Kelvin (8/5): Good M6 overnight stop - Great breakfast and a warm welcome with our hosts. Who made time to give us ideas about what to do locally before catching the Heys ham ferry. An excellent stop off point for M6 north or South too.
- White (10/5): Excellent value for money, a great place to stay, fabulous breakfast - Ann and Steven were excellent hosts and their farmhouse made for a welcome and much needed stay following a long trip back from Ireland. Room was comfortable, warm and had everything we wanted. Particularly like the individual bottles of fresh milk and water available for us in the fridge. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast and cereals in the morning, thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay here Perhaps a box of tissues? And that's being really picky as I can't think of anything else to put in this box

- Kathleen (9/5): A delight in an area new to me, extremely comfortable and great value. - I liked everything. The 'staff'/proprietors were lovely. Happy customer! There was nothing I did not like. However, it was strange that the postcode/satnav took me to the wrong property, about 150 yards BEFORE Stanley Lodge Farmhouse.
