Great location, they take credit cards, friendly, they give good local recommendations, you get a free drink card to a "real" local bar. I'd stay again without hesitation.

The mattress was dirty and full with mould, also the pillow was with mould under the sheet. On the wall was old blood dried in. We couldn't change the temperature from the aircon it was so cold and without too warm.

- Barry (8/5): A good value at a good location. Needs deadbolt, curtains, and friendly staff. - The room was clean and the location was great. The doors need to have a deadbolt or some kind of safety. Blackout curtains are needed, the room always had light coming through, day and night. The staff wasn’t unfriendly or friendly either. They just seemed indifferent.

- Damien (8/5): Jem in Barretto - Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The first room I stayed in was very nice. The bed was comfortable and they provided a small fridge and kettle. This was great and convenient for those staying more than one night. It was great to have a fan on the wall as well as AC. This allows for customisation of the room environment. Great idea guys. The water pressure was passable and the hot water was more warm than hot. Having to change to another room on my last night due to the bathroom exhaust fan needing replacement was a tad disruptive. They could've waited until I checked out. Probably just not picking, but with wifi available it would be a great option if they upgraded the smart TV, so that you could login to your favourite streaming account. Instead of watching the cable.

On third day I have asked to change the room and the personel was very helpful - I got a quiet room, also more distant from the nolisy street. see above

Supermarket across the street. Beds are soft. A/c is good. Staff were very accommodating. Plenty of mosquitos outside. Beddings and towels are clean but need upgrading.

Budget friendly as well.If your looking for a family room that is worth the budget I can strongly suggest you to try this hotel.its not fancy but the room was spacious and clean. We had a birthday celebration near baretto and our relatives booked in another hotel and cost them 8k+ for a night while we only spent 2k including the tip.

- Kenneth (8/5): No frills hotel, good enough for a short stay. Very helpful staff. - The location is ok. It doesn't have direct beach access, but the beach is a few minutes walk. It's an ok beach, swimmable, better than nothing. The location of the hotel is along a busy road with lots of pubs. Bathroom lacked hooks so we ended up hanging towels on the shower curtain rod. There's no airflow in the rooms so we had to use the airconditioner. The main street can get really busy.

Close to diving resorts so could walk.. close to many of the better cafes/restaurants. Second bed was a bit lumpy and creaky. Also, although at the back still very noisy street.. but not sure if any other hotel in the strip would be any better. The strip comes 'alive' at night with many girly bars.. can be quite sleezy part of town.. But did not feel threatened at all.
