- Denise (8/5): Great place for a 1 night stop - Very large room. AC worked well . Functional basic room. Nice that they sell a few things ( water, beer, snacks) at the reception. Excellent location 1 block from the night market, yet the hotel is quiet .

- Penny Ann (9/5): Great place to stay - Big room. Very clean and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. There is a lift to the room and a kettle in the room. Air conditioner and a fan. Decor a bit dated but no problem. Great location next to night market and train station

- Henri Forbes (10/5): Real nice town. - Great building, strong. Good drinks and snacks at Lobby @ low price. Aircon works. Shower floor is marbled so you don't fall. Vgood massage Vclose. Thin and thick pillows. TV works. Shower warm. Properly clean floors thoughout. Daily room service. 3 sets of cleaning ladies each working 2 floors. Over 50 rooms. Great balconeys. Great stairs. Great lift that skips every 2nd floor. Good hotel entrance with towelling extra foot matt in wet weather. Security guard. 2pm check out. 14 day stay. 500bt pn. Bare lighting in the room.
- Katie (10/5): Clean and Comfortable - Such a great little spot close to the centre and weekend night market. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and absolutely spotless! We even got fresh towels every morning. We appreciated the free water refills, excellent WiFi and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again Nothing. Great value!

- Bee Lian (6/5): Could be better but acceptable - Location was good, walking distance to the main street with shops and eateries. One of my criteria was that the hotel had a lift, as I have a problem climbing stairs with my luggage due to recent injury to my left ankle. However, the lift was on the mezzanine floor, so I had to climb stairs to get to the lift, it didn't stop at level 2 where our room was, so we would have had to take the lift to level 3 and come back down half a storey, or climb up half a storey from the mezzanine floor.
The fridge in the room wasn't working. After trouble shooting we realised the power outlet the fridge was connected to was faulty. Fortunately the fridge power cord was long enough for us to connect to a power outlet above the counter. Power cord for the electric kettle was too short, and we had to balance the kettle on the tissue box to be able to plug in the socket.
- Lily (8/5): Good place for a short stay - Large room and decent value for money overall. Staff were polite and there was good air con in the room. Good for a couple of nights stay. They give you free bottled water each day. Room is a bit dated but not bad considering the price.
- Lily (8/5): Very good -
- Lucas (10/5): Exceptional - Property was very well priced and perfectly situated. Room was clean and was cleaned daily. Great stay for weekends as there is a night market 50 metres away.
- Nina (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (7/5): Value for Money for a stay overnight - N ight market is just around the corner, covered carpark, big rooms, value for money No hairdryer, minimalist
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Bernard John (10/5): - We have stayed at this hotel in the past and love it for its location, price per night and great staff.
- Nicholas (9/5): Superb - Price is excellent for what you get. A/C, clean, large, everything works. Great place for a one or two night stop over. The room decor is basic, but you're not paying Ritz prices. Excellent location 1 minute walk from the railway station. Songtheaws are at the station for a cheap journey to the bus station. Perfect. Reception sell instant coffee, milk and sugar sachets with provided hot water for your early morning caffeine 'fix'. Absolutely nothing.
- Era (8/5): Very good -
- Simona55 (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hotel. Everything shines with incredible cleanliness. The staff is also nice and helpful. I recommend it! I will definitely come back. ,........
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, central to train station, night and other markets. Big clean room, great value
- Russell (6/5): Convenient to train station and sweet rooftop bar near by above hostel - Location Very bland the bed was very firm
- Helen (8/5): - The hotel is great value for money. Our room was clean and spacious, and was serviced every day.
The location was extremely convenient and a great base for exploring Trang.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but there really isn’t much to explore in Trang!
- Ian (3/5): bad - walking distance to train station the girls on the desk were completely miserable no help from them with our luggage,
bed sheets felt like paper, the door lock from the inside turns off all the lights, the aircon leaks and soaked my travel bag completely inside which had our passports in and nearly ruined them. we left after the first night
- Philip (5/5): Ok for the price. - Location. Easy access from train station. Weekend night market is right out front, but it's surprisingly quiet in the hotel. Eateries, banks, other services etc. are nearby.
Friendly greeting, quick & easy check-in.
Ground floor common area with snacks & drinks (cheap beers!). Appears to have hot & cold water available there also.
There's a lift!
My spacious clean 6th floor room had enough surface space to spread your gear out on, good aircon, a ceiling fan, fridge, bottled water, TV with local channels, adequate lighting & mirrors, and a window which opens onto an almost balcony (aircon unit alcove) with bird net & clothes drying line. The actual balcony is the landing out front providing access to each room and a view of the surrounding area.
Bathroom is standard SE Asia budget hotel style with adequate lighting and mirror plus exhaust fan.
Comfortable bed and pillows. No wardrobe or hangers, but a rack if you BYO hangers. It looks like a chin-up frame. Don't do chin-ups on it!
The combo power point / light switch next to the bed had the switch hard up next to the socket so that I couldn't plug an adaptor in without activating the switch - not really usable as a power point.
The door lock that cuts all power! Rumour has it that the fridge power point is on its own circuit. My fridge power point was a dangling death-trap that wouldn't hold the fridge plug, so I plugged the fridge into the double power point my phone charger was using. Fine for overnight when I'm in the room, not great for when I was out.
To secure yourself in your room there's a pad-bolt and door-chain, which seem a bit flimsy, so bring a door wedge.
The lift! The lift takes you NEAR your floor ..to a landing from which you get to your floor via steps, which is a tad weird. No problem if you're able-bodied, not suitable if you require wheelchair access.
There's parking across the street, limited parking in the laneway.
The hotel met my expectations only because I read previous reviews stating its shortcomings.
Apparently, I can't upload my short video showing the door lock that cuts all power plus the loose door security fittings.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very good - Near night market and train station.
Stort, rent rom og bra a/c. Mer trengte vi ikke for en natt.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Second time doing an overnight stay here before heading to the pier. Location is great for pickups, having dinner and a drink before getting your head down.
- David (7/5): Cheap and roomy - Location and a good sized room. Miserable staff when booking in.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (8/5): Cheap, clean accommodation near bus station. - Large rooms with private bathroom, very close to the station.
Tea/coffee facilities in lobby.
- Valeriy (10/5): Exceptional - Old style Thai hotel in the centre of Trang! Huge room for a very good price, very nice budget place to spend your night before going to your destination. 2 minutes walking to the train station or 10 minutes from the bus station(grab price 80-90baht)
- Piotr (7/5): Good - Location, size of the rooms. The internet doesn't work in some of the floors. Make sure to check it before you check in.
- Piotr (6/5): Decent hotel overall, but bad wifi - A decent hotel on the whole – convenient location, big rooms and so on. The internet on the 6th floor simply does not work. You won't visit a single website with it.
- Piotr (6/5): Pleasant - Location, size of rooms. 6th floor internet is non-existent. It does work better at lower floors, so ask for a room there.
- John (8/5): Very good for a one-day visit to Trang. - Convenient to the RR station - of course! Nothing
- Cheong (7/5): Good -
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Mi (10/5): Good budget option - It’s quite nice budget option. They have a car parking with roofs. We stayed at the highest floor(Thanks for elevators). The sunset view is nice too. It’s very close to Trang station(you can take pics of Trang’s symbol of Tuk Tuk). Inside the room, it’s not good working wifi. Just open the door, it’ll be ok. So it doesn’t matter. Don’t put your sweets on the table, it could be ants there.
- Itthawut (10/5): Exceptional - Good location near Trang station night market and local market. Hotel have car parking for customers.
- James (2/5): I walked in and walked out - The place is run down not a great place to stay it was so noisy .I litterly spent 5 minutes there tried to get a refund which the lady refused booke the Rua Rasdada hotel got a line cab
- Nokaraju (6/5): Pleasant -
- Philip (9/5): Superb - This is a great value, older but well-kept hotel.I really liked it and the staff were so nice. Everything worked well, hot shower, cool air-conditioning. A big room. Great. Nothing to not like.
- Fraroe (9/5): Superb - Large basic rooms at a great price. Walking distance to station and several food options.
- Coilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Coilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Coilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kocjancic (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional - Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in for the last 6 weeks this has best bedding and bed. I know this sounds petty but the pillow’s are amazing. So many hotels forget about getting good pillows. Chicken noises but not there fault.
- Coilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent all round. Great location, lovely staff and top facilities. Nothing really.
- Noble (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lucy (8/5): Perfect for a good value stopover in Trang. - Room was huge! Clean and comfortable. More like a motel, with each room opening onto and outside corridor. Staff were friendly, and randomly gave me a banana when I got back one evening. Access to hot water for drinks in the reception area. Don't think the place sees many English speaking tourists but that was no problem for me. Just something to be aware of if travelling solo and look for social places.
- Ng (6/5): Pleasant -
- Margherita (8/5): Great value for money! Spacious and clean room, convenient location, friendly staff. - Big and clean room, comfortable bed
Friendly staff, Air con doesn’t work properly so the room can get really warm
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (7/5): A lot of bang for buck! - Not shabby not chic. Just a place to rest your head. It's clean and in a good location. Plus there was a nice little nightmarket around the corner.
In the reception you can buy snacks and cheap beer👍 Pillows was too big and hard for my taste. The room felt a bit steril and dull.
- Sara (9/5): Superb - Second time staying here (this week) Clean, comfy. Great location This time there was no plugs near the bed which was annoying. Room 302. Room 610 was much better
- Sara (10/5): Look no further - Comfy stay, lots of plugs, close to everything you need right in the heart of town. Has a little shop downstairs to buy everything. Cleanest hotel, always someone cleaning. Free water. Couldnt ask for more Nothing
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - An institutional hotel with tons of authenticity. Cool spacious rooms built not to need aircon. Great location near train station in a quiet street with clucking chickens in the backyard.
- Agata (9/5): Budget hotel in a great location - Not a first time I stayed there. It's clean and comfy but it's still a budget hotel so don't expect nice decor. There's a fridge and a kettle in a room and the wifi worked okay! Great location.
- Simon (6/5): functional - great AC no window in room so felt a bit like a cell
- Mariyam (8/5): Very good -
- Katarina (7/5): Only okay for 1 night - Price was really low, it was clean and close to train station if you are going to koh lipe. Bed was hard as a rock. Old furniture, feels like prison. Receptionist was not very welcoming. There is elevator only every 2 floors.
- Agata (8/5): Would book again - It's a great place to stay one or few nights in the center of Trang. Rooms are rather spacious and comfortable. The design is old so the hotel has a little bit of a dusty vibe but it's my second time staying here and I cannot complain.
There is a little fridge in each room and fully functioning AC. The water heater works properly and the bed is super comfy.
The neighbourhood is quiet but expect some train honk and beep sounds in the morning. Night market in the weekends right around the corner.
Inernet connection outstanding. Hotel staff super nice. It would be nice to have an electric kettel in the room.
- Addie (9/5): Great, affordable stay in a superb location. - The hotel was super close to the train station, shops and a cool weekend night market. There was also parking for motorbikes and a hire place around the corner. The hotel also had a lift which was nice to see for others who may struggle with mobility meaning this hotel is more accessible for all.
- Catherine (9/5): Ideal if you just want a bed for the night! - Very clean, basic, AC, pleasant staff. Excellent value for money, very close to railway station. Will keep your luggage safe, if you have a train to catch but have vacated the room.
- Martyn (8/5): Very good -
- Bernd (8/5): Very good - Very clean, friendly staff. Early check in was no problem. Quiet!!! New Aircon. Nothing
- Nikki (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean. Wi fi works great. Nice staff. Nice location. I like it.
- Choo (9/5): Good location n clean - Old but nice and clean hotel with basic facilities. Railway station and city center is within walking distance. There is night market from Friday to Sunday
- Jens (9/5): Superb - A great place super centrally located. Staff very friendly and helpful All good!
- Kent (5/5): Passable -
- Wayne (7/5): Satisfiable stay - Location. Staff. Overall satisfied. No functional tv stations if that is important to you.
- Alessandro (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Itthawut (10/5): Exceptional -
