- Guest (1/5): - I made a booking and went to the hotel, but when we got there, the hotel told us that we would not get a room. After a lot of waiting, we got a room, but it had two bathrooms combined, and no air conditioning. It was a very bad experience.
- Dalal (5/5): - الفندق قديم جداجدا ومستوى الغرف لم تعد تتناسب للإقامة خاصه لنا نحن الخليجين ولكن الخبر الجيد سيتم هدم الفندق وبنائه من جديد. نتمنى اقامتنا المرة القادمه تكون ممتازة بنفس مستوى الاقامه في فندقهم الثاني والذي يقابلهم مباشرة. عدم وجود تهوية (نافذة في الغرفة) روائح التصريف منتشرة في الفندق وبعض الحشرات.. روائح الطبخ تنتشر بعض الاحيان لوجود عوائل عربيه تعد طعامها!!عدم وجود عازل الصوت في الغرف ودورات المياه

- Goyani (1/5): Bad - My wife and I had a booking at Hotel Orient from 5th May to 6th May 2025. Despite informing them in advance that I would arrive between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, I reached slightly later, between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. Upon arrival, the staff coldly informed me that check-in was only at 12:00 PM and refused to accommodate me in any way.
I politely requested if they could allocate any available room for just four hours, or if I could pay extra to extend my booking to cover the early check-in. Shockingly, they demanded an additional ₹2200 for just four hours—almost the same price as my original booking (₹2222 for a full day)! This was completely unreasonable and exploitative.
To make matters worse, the staff behaved in a rude, dismissive, and humiliating manner. Their lack of basic hospitality and unwillingness to assist a guest in need forced me to leave and book a stay at Hotel National next door, where I was treated with respect.
Never staying at Hotel Orient again—I strongly advise others to avoid this place if they expect even basic courtesy and fair treatment.

- Ali (4/5): Fairly Clean hotel but greedy management - It is clean. Convenient The property manager DID NOT honor the deal and did not not accept the rate Booking.com has offered and confirmed. When I showed him the confirmation email from Booking.com. He refused and instead he showed me his offer. After a long flight and exhausting day, I had to pay more to avoid the hassle of looking for another hotel. Breakfast is not worth it.

お湯の蛇口は壊れかけていましたが使えないわけではないので許容範囲内でした。
夕食の提供はありませんが、ホテルの人に言えばメニューが貰えて好きなものを買ってきてもらえます。
大通りに面している割には静かでよく寝られました。
- Akira (8/5): - ムンバイの観光地は南部に集中していますが、観光地に比較的に近い位置にあります。鉄道の駅からも徒歩範囲です。チェックインはインドはどこも時間がかかりますが、まだ速いほうです。インドのホテルはタイと比べるとレベルが落ちますが、インドのホテルとしてはよいレベルになると思います。

There is no air circulation. So the stink remains even if there is AC.
The building exterior is in bad condition.

Hotel staff serving without smile and look very unsatisfied and just working as they bound to work. Otherwise rooms now better than earlier , location superb and hotel quite clean now and good. Service need to improve and should serve with smile means better hospitality. May they their salary vry low thats why they are not happy. Breadfast bery bad, need to add little fruit salad, one juice and paratha/roti with sabji or Puri/sabji. And also staff are looks horribe dissatisfied face .

They really have to improve the quality. Also the they have to educate the staffs in the dining area as they were sounding very loudly .

1. Flush was not working in the bathroom.
2. Hair found on pillow, they replaced after complaining.
3.Bathroom was not cleaned.
4. They attended the bathroom flushing problem after 2 hours of checked in the hotel.

- Khwaja (1/5): Don't book this hotel - Nothing. They are getting customers because of location only. I asked parking while booking they accepted but later I received fine from police for parking vehicle in undesignated place. But the vehicle was parked by hotel staff.

- RAGHUNATH (4/5): - Never seen in my history this kind of a service and cheating to the customer room was booked through you and they have denied and after confirming the receiption manager they have not check in and assured that when come that time they will do but unfortunately the person was changed and receiption personnel harrased and disapointing behaviour has been noticed and also paid the breakfast they have not given.

- candace (8/5): A Decent hotel in a decent location - We came in very late. There is always trouble finding our reservation, so that was not new. We got a clean room, a bed to sleep in and breakfast the next morning which is what we wanted. It is not far from the Central Mumbai railway station which is good for anyone wanting to use the local train.Plenty of taxis outside the door if you don't.

We chose this hotel not really understanding where we were situated and I think it’s fair to say we were in the heart of Mumbai.
Local people and staff were lovely, although we did feel we were the only westerners to have ventured into these parts of Mumbai.
The sanitation issue is major and in comparison this probably was a ‘palace’ to many around. The rooms were relatively clean however we found it hard to use the bathroom due to the smell and lack of cleanliness to our standards. The view outside our window was hard to bare with rats, homeless families and the constant use of horns left us sleepless the first night. Once we got familiar to the city we soon loosened up and felt more at ease, however we were very much looking forward to leaving after 24 hours.
That was our first true experience of India and I wouldn’t change it for a second.

The staff while trying to be helpful can be confusing, and they do not pass messages between shifts.
Hence a promised early breakfast of bread, butter and jam was not forthcoming and the night shift were unaware that I had asked to leave my bag overnight

- Shirley (10/5): Great Hotel and a true feel of Mumbai. - Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Loved the location in downtown Mumbai. It's a little way out from the tourist attractions and gives a real feel of Mumbai. 3 of us stayed at the hotel. The Security guard escorted the ladies outside and sorted all taxis for them, when they travelled together. Room was really clean and fresh. would stay here again.
