- Hernando (7/5): - Location, professional staff, good customer service. Amazing rooms. The food was 3 out of 10. This is really the big problem. It really had an effect on the overall experience. Cold, slow, and careless. A bit better in the main dinner, but completely awful in Xana. I'm not an expert, but It was evident a lot of the food was frozen from before. Waiters in Xana, borderline saboteurs.

Very helpful whenever we approached them during the stay The responses to requests BEFORE arrival was very slow and we were never sure if they had read our questions or not. Unfortunately it ended with us booking the wrong ferry and with a long grab drive at arrival.

- Kelly (9/5): A slice of paradise - The beach, the views, the staff. All exceptional The water was just the perfect temperature. We loved our time here. The shop could be better equipped but this is very minor. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and the accomodation we stayed in was ocean view suite and although they supplied bedding for the sofa - the second room would have worked better with 2 single beds instead of one. This may have been a squeeze though.

- Hux Leck (7/5): Lovely beach, reasonable accommodation - Lovely staff. Beautiful beach. Resort has a bit of a tired feel, in spite of being quite new. The treadmill in the gym was actually hazardous! Food reasonable but overpriced. There's nowhere else to eat nearby and they know it. Finishings in rooms a bit sloppy. Communal areas not kept particularly clean. The block out the back feels a bit like a prison - best go for beachfront rooms.

- Jo (10/5): Absolutely lovely in a gorgeous beach but completely let down by extortionate prices for basic groceries - Modern, spacious and comfortable apartments which were spotless and well designed The shop is inadequate for the size of the hotel. There are no shops nearby so I would suggest taking your own supplies before you arrive. I bottle of water was £5 and we were charged £75 for a bottle of Lindemans Rose wine which usually retails at £8. This was absolutely shocking and too late to return it. There is no way I would pay anything like that but no one was bothered when I mentioned a refund.

The staff were so attentive, the breakfast had many options and the beach was so picturesque! The water temperature was perfect 👌 The kids did the bananna boat which they loved and the baby turtles were a highlight. Just a short ferry ride from Singapore. All in all - the perfect break.

There was also plenty to do around the area, so it never felt boring. A special appreciation to the bar team, Agung, Wawan, and Agus. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, a great place to stay, and I would definitely come back!

- Ancientsurfer (9/5): A truly friendly resort. - The shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off from the ferry pier are greatly appreciated. The breakfast at the sister resort was superb. So much variety and the quality of most items was exceptional. The rooms were modern, spacious and clean. Golf course nearby was a great experience. Staff are friendly, helpful and so courteous. Keeping the beach clear of debris is obviously a problem for the resort.

Pláž bola udržiavaná a čistá, na ktorej bolo málo ľudí, čo pôsobilo veľmi príjemne. Bazén čistý. Určite by som prijala lepšiu ponuku na nákup drobných vecí, ktoré mi pri pobyte chýbali. V Rezorte je jedej obchod, ktorý má veľmi slabý výber. Potrebovala som kúpiť nejaké ovocie a zeleninu pre dcérku, došiel mi opalovací krém a taktiež mi chýbalo zopár hygieinckých potrieb, v rezorze v obchode z toho nič nemali. Určite by som rozšírila sortiment.

Ce qui est agréable quand on voyage avec ses enfants et qu’on veut être avec eux sans partager leur chambre. On pouvait manger le petit déjeuner et les repas sur les autres hôtels. Oreillers très durs, pas suffisamment de transats sur la plage et autour des piscines. Lobby et salle de restaurant ensemble ce qui est très brouillon, sale et bruyant. Pour le petit dejeuner, ou le dîner mieux vaut aller dans l’autre l’hôtel collé de la même chaîne.
- Poh Cheng (10/5): - The best part of this resort is that it is right in front of the private beach .As I have chosen to upgrade to Oceanview facing, I can access the beach directly in front of balcony. It's under Banyan Tree Group, it's very convenient to roam around various top restaurants n spa inside Banyan Tree using the buggy. The signature Banyan Tree Spa is a must try. No. All is good.

- Alison (10/5): A very relaxing break in a beautiful location. - I was on a two day break from Singapore and booked the Cassia for a total relaxation break. I was greeted at the port by a lovely cheerful gentleman and the transfer was quick and smooth. The property has direct access to a beautiful beach with the two neighbouring properties the only other inhabitants. You have access to the neighbouring properties for restaurants and pools. My room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and all facilities that you need for your stay. Food is available in a variety of places, although I would put it on the more pricey side for Indonesia. The staff were without exception helpful and cheerful. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the nearby plaza and there were trips available but I didn’t have the time to explore them. Apart from the slightly expensive food and drink there was nothing I didn’t enjoy.

- Blaha (9/5): Sehr tolles Hotel in perfekter Lage! - perfekte Lage, der Strand ist sauber und sehr gepflegt. die Zimmer sind in einem Topzustand sehr schön eingerichtet, das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich, gut und liebevoll vorbereitet. Die Cocktails an der Strandbar sind leider nicht zu empfehlen. Das einheimische Bier ist aber ausgezeichnet. Der Shop im Hotel ist leider recht spärlich ausgestattet.

- Paul (10/5): Fabulous apartment rooms, very friendly helpful staff , spotlessly clean, amazing beaches. - Fabulous well appointment apartment room, spotlessly clean, excellent air conditioning. Very friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to help and ensure you have everything you need. Excellent fabulous breakfast with lots of choices. Swimming pools were excellent and spotlessly clean and well kept, as are all the grounds around the resort beautifully kept and well cared for. The beach is amazing, one of the best beaches I have seen in a long time. All staff including the Spa staff very helpful and friendly. Weiwei particular was very kind and helpful at breakfast time. Food other than breakfast was quite expensive and only very average quality. Although rooms have excellent kitchen facilities no where within the Bintan resort to purchase food for preparation, apart from very expensive limited choice of snacks. No Netflix or YouTube on the TV in room.

- Selene (10/5): Fantastic stay! - Cassia Bintan review: We had a fantastic time at Cassia Bintan resort. The front desk receptionist Tyara was very helpful and helped us arrange for early check in and late check out, which really helped us a lot as our departing ferry was at a late timing. She even helped to drive us in a buggy to Treetops restaurant at Banyan Tree in order to save us time as the regular buggy has not arrived yet. Tasia is very helpful and friendly as well. They also offer free flow of ice water at Vista cafe for guests. Vista cafe is non-aircon hence the ice water is a life saver. Remember to make use of Xana Beach club’s happy hour at 4pm daily to enjoy 50% off selected F&B. We loved the pool/billiard, table tennis and chess area. But we love the swimming pools and beach the most. All the facilities are shared between Cassia, Angsana and Banyan resorts, hence we were free to use all the facilities in the 3 resorts, including Angsana’s pool and Rangers Kids club. Pool towels are provided both in the room and at the swimming pools. The service was top notch and we really enjoyed ourselves. The kids also enjoyed snorkeling. Vista and Lotus restaurants are non-aircon. Could be quite hot in the afternoons. But it’s ok as we spend most of the afternoons in the pools.

Booked a sea front room which was towards the end of the building yet the noise from the beach club could be heard through the night and early morning with windows and balcony doors closed.Room was clean and well maintained.Breakfast spread was limited.Beach was clean and quiet during the day.

- Eugenia Maria (8/5): Cassia it’s a great place for a short stay, with friendly staff and good facilities. - The rooms are very comfortable, and we loved having a small stovetop and microwave, which made our stay even more convenient. The staff were exceptionally nice and friendly, making us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was good, but it was a bit on the pricey side.

Apartment was very clean and maintenance was good. Great beds. Nice kitchen with necessary supplies for a short stay! Very friendly and welcoming staff! food- very limited good vegetarian options. No free sports facilities and renting is very expensive. For e.g., renting a surfing board costs nearly S$20 for just an hour! there were no beach towels available after we swam in the sea
