Guest Reviews
- Jean (6/5): - The scenery was beautiful and the weather was good, so our group arrived with great excitement, but the fountain at the entrance gate was broken, and in one bedroom, water was dripping from the bathroom ceiling and the floor was soaking wet, and the floor had not been cleaned, so it was dirty with grime, and there were no towels in the bathroom except for shampoo. I think they are very lax in their management.
- Gustavo (6/5): - The Market good portions were smaller than what hey used to serve. The cost of food has definitely went up. We ended up eating in the village areas. Experiencing the local foods.
- Lindsay (10/5): - Loved the pool And easy access to the resort!!
- Rodney (6/5): - The whole check in process was terrible and took forever and I can’t even blame the hotel, because when I revived the email before we left and it showed we rented for only 2 people I tried changing it because they charged double when you check in and there was 7 of us, hotels.com couldn’t get it done and it said it was easy to make changes! I called 2 numbers that were no longer in service, I did a live chat and they emailed me that they were trying to get a hold of the property owners which was unsuccessful, and that we’d have to go by the contract! We ended up having to pay another $800 when we arrived. It didn’t help that our flight was delayed also and we lost a day on our rental! Once we got checked in we made the best of the time we had left in Cabo. Weather was perfect!
- jose (10/5): - Love it
- Antonio Molina (10/5): - This is our 4th stay and it never disappoints, can't wait to come back!
- debra (4/5): - I have been going to this resort for the past 11 years. The past 2 times have been very disappointing. The reception staff is very rude and unprofessional. Random maids would just be in the villa without warning. The phone would ring when we answered the person would hang up. We had a huge tarantula in our entry way that would crawl the walls at night. I made 2 separate reservations so I could stock the villa with food and decorate it for my daughters bachelorette party. Because I made 2 separate reservations they made me move villas. The first villa every door lock was broken, there was a dirty rag and a broken glass table on the balcony. When I asked for them to fix the doors I was told they would only fix 1. I was thankful my driver from the airport stayed to ensure all locks were fixed. I love to travel and I have never left a negative review. I am deeply saddened at how much this resort has gone down hill in the past 11years.
- Gustavo (6/5): - We always enjoy staying at Montecristo Quivira. This time we had no internet for the last 4 days of our stay. We weren't able to check emails or sent messages. Usually we have a number of drinking glasses and there was only 2 in the home. The master bed room sheets were stained and looked like that haven't been cleaned. We contacted the resort and they stated they couldn't help us with the internet because the home was privately owned that we were staying in.There was nothing they offered us. We would stay there again, but it would be nice to know if the home belongs to the resort or privately owned. It makes a huge difference with what the resort is able to do for you to enjoy your stay.
- Mario (8/5): Great Vacational Home - The place is amazing, the view is amazing! Sunrise and sunsets where incredible! Star watching was like being on a huge IMAX NASA theater! The whole house is beautiful, 3 big rooms with all the comodities. I would recommend working on the clenliness and service on site. Thank you all!
- michele (8/5): - Beautiful view, villa condition needed updated.
- patricia (10/5): Beautiful villa - Beautiful resort.. great staff
- Wendy (10/5): - Probably One of the best trips I had and the resort staff are awesome and the villas are amazing
- Amberly (10/5): - We absolutely love Montecristo Villas, they are kept clean and the house was sanitized. They are located near the pacific ocean and have multiple pools and restaurants available.
Thanks for the enjoyable tome we had on out mini vacation pueblo bonito resorts.
- Elissa (8/5): Big but nothing special - For a higher end rental the beds were horrible, they are hard as a rock. I’m going to need to go to the chiropractor to deal with the pain. They also have a very sparsely outfitted kitchen, it was difficult to do cooking with so little amenities. The home is also very dark, it was hard to see inside at night with the poor lighting or apply makeup in the bathroom. I’ve spent a lot less at other condos and had way better amenities. The home is large and has a pool, that’s about all it has going for it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing villa! One of my favorite places in Cabo
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great family property! Lots of spacious rooms and bright. Will stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was beyond our expectations everything was perfect. Beautiful property, great kind and helpful staff.
- Antonio (10/5): - We have visited Cabo almost annually since 2009 and have primarily stayed in the Presidential Suite at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. This was our first time renting a villa right next door at Pueblo Bonito Monte Cristo. We stayed in Phase 2, Villa # 151 and it was absolutely incredible!!!! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. We will stay here going forward each time we return.
- Derrick (10/5): See both the sunrise and sunset over the ocean! - Incredible 180 degree views of the ocean. You could see both the sunrise and sunset over the water! Not many places in the world wher you can do that! Villa was extremely private with secluded hot tub and infinity edge pool overlooking the ocean. Nicely decorated. Good showers and bath tub. Plenty of room for 3 couples.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is not being maintained properly; dish washer didn't work; things are falling apart like hut tub plate securing the wiring underneath; this would fall off and expose the wiring and with a little child running around this is a problem. The location is great, staff are wonderful, but they need to keep up the maintenance on this property; pictures are made to look great on web site but in actuality the age of this property really shows
