Guest Reviews
- Cole (10/5): - Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing experience
- Eva (2/5): - They staff was very nice and helpful ful, the room is so smelly musty odor and the aircondition is not working properly, the bedding never change since we arrived
- Valerie (10/5): - Extremely caring staff members! Very grateful to them for all the help they provided me with. There just isn’t any service like this in America!
- Sandra (8/5): - The place is nice and clean. It’s close to other restaurants and shops
- Jemelle (10/5): - My initial visit to El Nido and stay at this charming inn was a delightful experience. I stayed 3 nights. The facilities and accommodations were satisfactory overall. Its location, merely 2-5 minutes from the beach, dining, shopping, transportation, and tour bookings, was highly convenient. The standout feature, however, was the warm and welcoming staff who ensured my safety and comfort. The breakfast offerings were delectable, featuring a mix of American and Filipino cuisine. The sole drawback was the absence of elevators in the four-story inn.
- Silvano (10/5): Muito bom.
- Jenelle (10/5): - El Nido was very busy when we just visited so we were glad we could make an Expedia booking at Relucio Inn. We got the family room for 3 adults and it worked well. The location is great and it was nice to have breakfast included. We liked the staff and had a good stay!!
- Cindy (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean facility and room. I would stay away here again!
- Vera (6/5): - There was a really bad smell in the room. I think it came from the bathroom. The air conditioner was very loud. I couldn't hardly sleep.
- Kathryn (8/5): Good Budget Hotel - Initially had a family room but staff were able to give me queen room after 2 nights so that was great.
It is a comfortable budget hotel with a free breakfast. The only thing I would mention is the breakfast is cold each morning. Staff were great though and very helpful.
- Geoffrey (8/5): - Bathroom drainage was a bit smelly
- Marianne Jenna (4/5): - We stayed in relucio inn for 1 night, room 1 B. Room and bathroom was dirty especially the bathroom floor, still has black slipper marks and some things from other people were still there (earrings, ponytail). Room has a lot of mosquitoes. The only good thing is the front desk lady and the breakfast staffs are nice.
- Gregory (8/5): - Nice place, hot water, AC, and WiFi in a good location
- Richard (2/5): - No wifi in the rooms, low water pressure in the shower, stained towels and sheets..TV that doesn't work, barking dogs all night long.
I caught an eye virus from the staff.
Owners laughed it off
- Richard (2/5): - power outages, no tv , mosquitoes in the room , no in room wifi, low water shower pressure, barking dogs..good luck sleeping here.
- Paul (4/5): Wouldn’t recommend - Power cuts ruined my stay. One lasted over 12 hours and I ended up sleeping on the roof due to the unbearable temperature in my room. Would have also been nice to have my room serviced during my 3 night stay.
- Edwin Berny (10/5): - The 2 Ladies are friendly, helpful and very nice. R took care of our breakfast, tour to the Island booking and return trip to Puerto Princesa. Thank you very much! I highly recommend this place and this is near to everything !
- David (6/5): Slitet hotell men ok.
- Docdanielr (2/5): AWFUL EXPERIENCE - Manager came to INTO our room at 22.00 and told us we had to move to another hotel as had been double booked despite us having paid for room. We were told it was a big problem... I’ve never experienced such awful customer service from a hotel. The staff were rude and behaved inappropriately.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice quite place - off the main road so a bit more quite, the ad stating that there is 24 hour power is wrong. when there was a power outage, they had no power and the rooms were unbearable. you could clearly see what places had back up generators. The staff are very friendly and more that willing to help.
- Verified traveler (6/5): You get what you pay for - Don’t advertise tv if it doesn’t work at all. Water pressure for the shower is pretty low.
- Daniel (10/5): Great place to stay - Much nicer than it looks in the pictures! 2 mins away from the beach, but far away enough to not be too loud at night. We had a great stay. Rooms are cleaned on request during your stay and we didn’t use that service but the communal areas were maintained to a high standard. Breakfast is good and there is a good selection of local and western food.
- Marina (8/5): - Good location. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room.
- iamdanj (8/5): Much nicer than the pictures! - We left our booking until the week before we left the UK (3 weeks before we got to El Nido) so there was not much availability in El Nido when we looked. We booked this place as it seemed to be the best of a bad bunch, but actually we were very pleasantly surprised! The room was nice, clean and big enough for the two of us. We were there for 3 nights, and the room wasn't cleaned but there was a sign saying the rooms would be cleaned on request. There are fantastic views of El Nido's famous mountains from the breakfast balcony.
The location is very convenient, about 2 minutes walk from the beach, and quiet enough that you don't hear all the bars on an evening. Breakfast is included with a range of Filipino and western options available. The only thing that could be improved was that the WiFi didn't quite reach our room so we had to stand on the landing if we wanted to use it.
- Jeszel (8/5): - Everything was clean, breakfast was OK, bed & pillows are really stiff that it would give stiff-necks, but other than that, our stay was good
- Julie Monica Wambua (10/5): Our stay at Relucio inn - For Elnido standards this is a great hotel to stay in . It is basic but has everyhing we were looking for
and for the price we really couldn't complain. It is very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not on the main street so it is very quiet which we liked , but also close enoug to all the shops if you needed to walk. Catherine the lady at the reception helped us book the Island hoping tours at a discounted price and she was also very good at organising any transportation we required, even to go to Nacpan beach and the van to Puerto Princessa on our last day. Excellent service overall.
Just make sure you bring your own soap as they don't provide this , but we easily bought at a supermarket accross the road for about $ 2.
Also, no wifi in rooms only in the reception area, but in general this is the case with a lot of hotels in Elnido, the internet will be crappy just be warned .
- Verified traveler (2/5): BED BUGS - THEY HAVE BED BUGS AND DON'T CARE! Said we wanted a refund on the remaining night and they said yes, then when we were packed and downstairs they changed their minds because no one is booked to stay there that night, didn't try to get rid of the bed bugs mind you, just get the next person in. If you want the worst and most disgusting hotel experience of your life, stay there.
- Reviewedbyus (6/5): Amazing location but not the cleanest - Firstly the location is amazing! So close to everything & easy to find.
The room was ok:
Pros- comfortable bed
Hot water
Tv
Felt secure
Decent breakfast
Cons- wasn’t so clean & our room wasn’t cleaned or bins emptied once in the four days we stayed
Staff seemed friendly but everything seemed like it was a chore for them!
Overall good but could just do with a higher standard of housekeeping
- Ray (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - When coming to El Nido, you are expected to give up a few comforts and pay slightly more than other areas of the Philippines. Although a smaller room than we normally have, our room was clean, our bed was comfortable, 24-hour electricity, good Aircon and we had hot water showers. Staff was friendly and provided a good breakfast (about 4 choices) at our chosen time. Shower water pressure was low, but usable.
- Aaron (8/5): Clean and Nice Location - Clean and right in the heart of ElNido, we were on ground floor so got loud at times but that's my only complaint
- Leanne (8/5): Nice value for location and service - Good location, value, service for staying in town
- Sam (8/5): Well priced, conveniently located - Great spot for clean, cheap accommodation in a convenient location. WiFi is meant to only work in the lobby, but you can get it on the balcony and some in your room.
Breakfast was included in the Hotels.com rate, it’s basic but what you’d expect.
You need to ask to have your room cleaned.
A/C works very well!
Shower has low pressure, but you can manage.
Easy to organize tours through the hotel, speak to James (the owners son).
- Guy (8/5): Nice and clean budget hotel - Perfect for a basic, overnight stay in El Nido town. The room was small and basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff are sweet and helpful. And the location is good for walking straight into town. If you're looking for a romantic getaway with heavenly views, this ain't it. But if you just need a simple and clean place to stay in El Nido, this works a treat.
- Debbie (8/5): Good hotel - Good hotel, friendly staff and good location.
- Juiyu (8/5): In Center of El Nido town proper - This hotel is in the town proper and very closed to ferry port, also to main shopping street. Quite and have view from their balcony. But the rate is a bit higher than their competitors. Generally this was a nice stay. And they have a branch in front of Beach. I just passed by and it looks notbad. Mayby Guest can check it out also.
- Anja (6/5): Vernünftige Unterkunft in zentraler Lage - + Zentral gelegen
- Myriam (8/5): Very convenient location - I stayed for about 4 days and it was perfect. Staff was very helpful and always willing to help. It’s a very simple hotel, but the rooms have a comfortable bed, a fair bathroom and good A/C. It’s a 5 min walk to the port where you take the tour boats. It might get a bit noisy in the mornings, but that’s the time where I was out enjoying the island, so I didn’t care. Nights were nice and quiet. Keep in mind they clean the room every 2 days or upon request. So just ask if you want to. Overall it was a simple, but very nice stay.
- Mark (8/5): El Nido comfort - Clean, affordable, with friendly, helpful staff.
Handy to everything and not to noisey.
- Josephine (6/5): - The wifi is too slow and there is always blocked out w/c I can not blame to the hotel. But our stay is good.
