• Leeanne (10/5): overall a lovely property and suited our stay. - The location was terrific The heating did not work for the first 2 mornings and it was very cold, we had useless responces from the property manager who did not come to see what the issue was, we ended up stopping the owner who just happened to come to the property for an unrelated reason and he turned on the reverse cycle A/C till the heating issue could be resolved which was after we left.

• Keith (8/5): Very enjoyable! - As we were in the top floor unit with an outside deck, the Dark Sky after midnight was simply sublime! And there was a window directly above the bed, so shall we say, “romantic”. Spacious with off street carpark, it was a very enjoyable stay. The bathroom and toilet being down a flight of stairs was a bit of a pain

• Voldemar (6/5): - room was very clean, comfortable. Couldn't use the TV. Tried to contact host but NO reply. all settings are smart tv and need logins to get normal TV. Was very lucky cleaner was next door and she fixed it. other wise very disappointed most settings someone had in Chinese ??. Also location further from town centre than expected. Wouldn't stay in Tekapo ever again. Only a passing sight seeing destination.

• Philip (9/5): Comfortable apartment in great location - Comfortable and spacious apartment with decent facilities and a good lake view. The split level arrangement makes for excellent use of the space available. Easy access into the village centre via quiet riverside footpath. Good wifi, very clean. Despite being a good property it is a little expensive for what you get

• Nadine (7/5): - Heel fijn/comfortabel appartement. Veel ruimte. De aparte kamer voor je koffers/kleding tegenover de badkamer was top. Daardoor hoefde je niet met de koffers naar boven. Er hing best wel een vislucht. Mijn man had hier geen last van, ik wende er wel aan. Er waren ook vlekken op het tapijt dus ik denk dat dat een keer is misgegaan. Verder hebben we gigantisch veel betaald. Waarschijnlijk hebben ze de prijzen omhoog gegooid door de beschikbaarheid, maar toch... er zouden grenzen moeten zijn.

• Leanne (6/5): Disappointing - the weather was bad, but you can't always predict that. - Location was good No instructions to use TV. No instructions to turn the heating on. Host was contactable but it would have been better to have something in the info file for both of these. The tenant upstairs was extremely noisy early hours of the morning on both nights. The write up said you had views of the mountains but in the ground floor unit there was no view of anything.
• Simon (10/5): Easy and comfortable - Short walk from town centre, well-equipped and reasonable price. Nice and quiet. Couldn't empty kitchen bins as the council bins were overflowing. No view, but we did not expect one at the price point. Shower is good but needs a more substantial curtain- water escapes.

• Silvia (7/5): praktisch aber überteuert - Bei unserer Ankunft war als Willkommensgeschenk ein Glas Honig da, das haben wir seht geschätzt die Waschmaschine war seht praktisch für den Preis hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet, zb Conditioner und Body Lotion. die Küche war dürftig ausgestattet und das Geschirr zusammengewürfelt, die Bratpfanne alt und nicht mehr zu gebrauchen
• Pascal (7/5): - Lage, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit Am Lake Tekapo kann man die negativen Seiten des Massentourismus sehen. Der Ort wird in der Hauptsaison förmlich überrannt, hauptsächlich von Gästen aus Asien. Er hat seinen Charme verloren und die Preise für Unterkünfte sind wirklich absurd hoch. Wir haben in der Hauptsaison für ein besser ausgestattetes und grösseres Appartment in Nelson NZD 250 bezahlt, hier verlangte man das Dreifache! Leider blieb uns dieses Mal keine andere Wahl. Das Gebäude ist aber nicht einmal solid gebaut, man hört jeden Schritt im darüberliegenden Appartment - obwohl der Gast sehr ruhig war. Nächstes Mal würden wir so planen, dass wir keine Nacht in diesem überteuerten Ort verbringen müssen.

• Frances (9/5): Very pleasant stay in a quiet neighbourhood only minutes away from Lake Tekapo. - Very convenient location, few minutes walk from Lake Tekapo. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great kitchen facilities. While there is a washing machine there is no drier.

The location was perfect—peaceful yet just a short walk from the lakefront and local village shops. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, from a full kitchen for home-cooked meals to comfortable bedding and modern amenities.
• Alexandra (7/5): - Die Lage Die Wohnung war für einen Rollstuhlfahrer bzw eine Rollstuhlfahrerin ausgestattet und das war mir vorher nicht bekannt, dass der Herd so niedrig umd die Spüle so niedrig sind. Das hätte man zu der Wohnungsbeschreibung hinzufügen müssen. Zudem hat mir nicht gefallen, dass einige Oberflächen wie beispielsweise die Arbeitsplatte in der Küche, das Fensterbrett im Bad oder der Nachttisch neben dem Bett nicht ordentlich gereinigt waren. Zudem gab es viele Flecken auf dem Teppich und das Sofa war auch schon sehr fleckig. Ich beziehe mich auf das Apartment E.

There was no machine dryer, and with 6 people sharing one small clothes airer wasn’t enough. We had people staying above us and you can hear them walking and when they use the toilet or shower you can hear the water running.

• Nina (9/5): - Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Zum Supdrmarkr 4Square, kann man in 15 min zu Fuß hinlaufen. Die kleine Innenstadt und der See sind in 10 Gehminuten erreichbar. Vom Balkon aus, hat man einen Blick auf den See. Die Internetverbindung hatte immer mal wieder Probleme.

Our host worked closely with our situation when the surrounding roads were closed due to heavy snow, wind while keeping us informed on road conditions . Our host extended our departure time to give us time to see if roads hopefully open or provide a room for another night. Very little that we didn't like

Quiet location with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. The Book Tekapo team was a very friendly and flexible host who always accommodated our requests. We would definitely book again anytime.
