• Verified traveler (6/5): - do not stay here if you're western. its a traditional japanese hotel and totally alien. dreadful bedding / beds. smokey. just a waste of money. there's a much better and lower cost hotel right opposite. the building is tatty and generally sooooo disappointing.
• yoshitaka (10/5): とても快適でした - チェックインが21頃に遅れる旨を電話連絡させて頂いていたところ、到着してお部屋に入ったらお布団も敷かれており、とても快適に過ごす事が出来ました。
• NISHI (8/5): 安くてゆっくり出来て良かった。 - 駅からも近く、便利な立地で価格も手頃なため2食付きで予約しました。 部屋、大浴場、食事共ゆっくりとすることが出来ました。 部屋のコンセントがテレビ、スタンド、ポット、冷蔵庫、WIFIルーターなどで全て使われていて空きコンセントがなかったのが若干困りました。
• Shana (10/5): - Located just minutes from the station and bus terminal. A Japanese style inn that provides the authentic experience. Staff are super friendly and seem to be accustomed to having foreign guests. I had a really relaxing stay!

• Frédéric (8/5): A la japonaise - L'hôtel n'est pas très moderne, mais les chambres sont de très grandes suites confortables, de mini-appartements. Localisation parfaite. Accueil chaleureux. Une amélioration de la Wi-Fi sera un plus.
• ihenders_uk (8/5): Traditional style in the city - We enjoyed traditional Ryokan hospitality in Tokushima city. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent: both variety and portions were generous and highlighted local specialities - if anything, we felt we had more than we could eat. The location is great for exploring Tokushima and getting out around the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
• SteveCairns (8/5): Always a pleasure - Having stayed at many rural Japanese Inns, it is always a pleasure to enjoy similar hospitality in a larger city. We had the set dinner and breakfast which were generous in size, variety and freshness. The rooms were large compared to western style Japanese hotels and although an old building were renovated in more recent times. Windows are not soundproof but located on a side street.

• YU CHEN (10/5): CP值頗高 - 離車站很近，附近很多餐廳，機能方便。房間為傳統日式套房，非常寬敞，還附有小客廳。房間內有小型浴池，旅館本身有大眾浴池。入住期間，晚上回到旅館，已經開好暖氣，很貼心。
• Tim (6/5): 简单日式旅館 - 位於市中心，位置很好，近德島駅，價錢平性價比高，但設施較舊，清潔度不錯，温泉一般，早餐不錯，職員很友善。
• 助暴 (8/5): 居酒屋安兵衛の近くにある宿なので便利でした。 - 朝風呂が、最高です。スタッフの対応が素晴らしい。日本らしい和風ほてる。徳島駅から歩いていけるほてるで、ある意味便利だった。また行きたい。
• Verified traveler (4/5): 部屋にゴキブリがいます。 - 概ね快適と感じていたものの、窓側のじゅうたん上に5センチ大のゴキブリがいた。朝まで場所が動かなかったので死骸かもしれなかったが、そもそもそれが放置されていた事は心地よく無い。次回は他の宿を選択したい。
• ame (8/5): 徳島駅に近い老舗民宿 - 安く、徳島駅に近かったため選んだ。豪勢な玄関とは裏腹にかなり建物自体は老朽化が進んでいるのか壁、水道や客室の風呂などに着目するとかなり古い印象を受けた。しかしテレビやトイレなど交換可能なものはしっかりと新しいものが使われており、大浴場も満足できるものだった。何よりスタッフの対応がとても良かった。
• cool (6/5): 駅から近い - 近くに色々な飲食店があり、駅からも近くて便利です。 ただ、駐車場が無く、近くのコインパーキングになります。 宿の前は数台駐車できますが、一泊につき500円掛かります。
• DanL917 (10/5): Excellent bang for the buck - be sure to get both meals - This place is right across the street from Tokushima Station and looks to be a refurbished ryokan. It looks sorta high-class from the outside considering I paid minshuku prices for an overnight stay with both meals. Dinner was quite amazing: large chucks of expertly cooked tempura vegetables. Three different types of sashimi were served which were huge, thick slices befitting a $300/night ryokan. Two Tokushima dishes were included which was a thick somen noodle and a bowl of rice porridge. Two plates of various, colorful side dishes also complimented the meal. Breakfast was also delicious with thick slices of sweet egg omelet in addition to broiled fish and other assorted side dishes. You would be a fool to stay here and not partake of the superb meals for dinner and breakfast. Across the street is a Kanko Hotel with rates probably 30% higher than this place with no dinner included. Everything at this ryokan was quality and not cheap stuff: the Kleenex tissues, toilet paper, liquid soap in the onsen. My Japanese-style room was large and came with a toilet and shower. The onsen even has a whirlpool with bubbles and a small waterfall shower. Booking both meals is only possible via Jalan.net, it seems. But this place is a real find so close to the train station. Staff were very friendly and some spoke good English.
